I live in TEHACHAPI, and as I was passing through town to check on my grand mother's house, I decided to stop by AutoZone to pick up some brakes for my Silverado...I was helped by the store manager I believe his name was Lionel and another fellow, both were very professional, friendly and helpful. Great customer service

This store is always packed and there was is a wait no matter how many workers are on. No fault of the employees, they are doing a great job. Facts are it's just always busy. Not too many other options for car parts out here. I think they are doing a good job, prices are good and hours are great.

Customer service is good, but the lines are always extremely slow even if you dont need to order anything and just want to check out for a quick item; they still make you stand in the parts line. Seems like bad management because they always appear to be understaffed. I would of put 1 star but the people who work there are still friendly.

Expensive, everything is pretty pricey and usually, this store only has two people working the front and they are helping people look up parts, so on my last visit waited 15 minutes to check out. Limited supply as it is further out from freeways.

If you just want to come in and buy a simple item from a counter and leave then you better go some where else. This place is slow and doesn't have a checkout for a simple off the shelf purchase. You are goung to be in line for a lobg time since you have to get in libe with customers who are ordering parts. Most of the time theres only one register open and everybody else is just walking around or chatting in the back. Fast service is non existant here. Seems like manager doesnt care.

For having just one guy at the register and a line of about 10 different customers... this guy's handled it very well I was customer 8 and was out of there in 20 minutes... he was very knowledgeable of the store and answered all phone calls... give this guy a raise!!

I've gone back and forth for the past month or two (not because I got the wrong parts or anything; it was to get brakes and a battery for 2 different cars) and they've been helpful and patient with me. I went at 9:50pm last night and the guy was still in "full work mode" even though it was almost closing time. Usually, people have attitudes or don't want to help when it's so close to closing. He went out to check my car to tell me what brakes I would need.A few weeks ago, they also installed the battery I purchased there. It was difficult because I have an old, beat up car, but the guy got it done.Auto Zone has awesome deals and discounts.

Bought a 2 ton engine hoist online. I had spoken to someone at the store prior to the purchase and was told they had none in stock they d have to order me one new in the box. They called and said it was shipped for me to pick it up. I showed up and they were trying to sell me the loaner as brand new! Lol I don t think so buddy! I got my money back and got a new one at a different store. Don t trust them at all!!!!!!!!! I d much rather go to Olive Drive to manager Jesse Amaya he always takes care of his customers!!

So I called to make sure part was physically in store before I drove 45 minutes. The associate checked and put a hand on it to assure me. I was also waiting to hear back from the regional manager Joann about a starter I had purchased I think in early 2000. Well I arrived and the transmission mount was similar for the most part, but the holes that secure mount to transmission did not line up like the mount I brought with me. So as I was thinking about mount I decided to call Joann back since it had been over 4 hours, I m sure she had to hear from corporate and also busy going store to store. Cause when we spoke earlier she was at Wasco and now she was at Shafter store and I was in Lamont. I had her number from when we talked and touch bases with her about my starter. She called store manager Juan and by time I knew it, Juan brought a new starter and I gave him the core. The process was quick and I was walking out with my starter. These are the experiences that keep me coming back to shop at Autozone.

Staff is friendly but there's always a wait so don't be in a rush otherwise u will walk out.

The one on Niles seems to always be busy and doesn't always have the parts I need. Probably better to call in advance before I go next time.

Employees not knowledgable carefree ordering parts takes 2 /3 days ouch hopefully you weren't in the gym like me and I broke down in town but I had to get the hell out of there so I had to go to Napa which is across the street

Today was excellent service wasnt too crowded got in got the right part and got out real friendly knowledgable guy therethat helped me out didnt have the second part i needed gave me 2 options have it there by 7 tonight or i could go to another autozone and he will place iton hold for me real friendly service

One of the worst auto zones to go to.Ive been coming here 16 years only because its close to my home. Go only if you know what you need exactly. Not knowledgeable on anything and will try an argue there right. Luckily I know what Im buying before I enter

The own manager doesn t even know what s going on ask for a oil filter and he said they didn t have it then the GREAT employee said yes we do . WOW promote that guy instead

This is by far the best AutoZone in Kern fast friendly service. Not like some of the other stores were you are lucky to even get service at all.
