Used to like coming into the store, good service. However the last several times I've gone in there's an employee that walks around with techno style music on full blast in his pocket, can't even concentrate on what you're trying to pick up.No one greet you when you walk in or out, and when they do help you they just keep the music on in their pocket full blast. Like you're at a club. Unprofessional will have to find another store to go to.

Had to go here cuz my check engine light was on so I went to get my engine read. I told the man what was happening and asked Politely if HE could please read my engine with the reader. Well obviously that was a problem. He gave me the reader and said "here" and handed me it. I told him "I don't know how to do that" and his response was "you'll figure it out" no help AT ALL after I told him I didn't know how too. I sucked it up anyways and let this guy be disrespectful. If you are a woman (like I am) don't let these bozos treat you like trash. Bring your dad or husband to the lakeside store so they don't take advantage of you and treat you like your stupid.

Jim who works the commercial parts counter in the rear of store provided me with outstanding customer service. He took time to help find the right part for my vehicle.. Also Steve who is parts delivery person ...assisted me when he did not have too. Had a great experience with the assistant manager named Edgar today. He was very helpful and friendly. After going to a different competitor auto parts store and being told they could sell me a battery for my car but wouldn't install it because it's located in the trunk Edgar hooked my battery right up! Much appreciated Thank you O'Reilly's and Edgar!

Service has gone down went in there and the two guys working completely ignored me and another guy going out of the way to help one guy speaking Spanish between each other the whole time completely alienating two customers , it was very disappointing, this was only 28th around 10:00 a.m. The two guys were not rude they just did not want to deal with us, me and another older white gentleman wanted help and they completely ignored us it was bad I will not be returning there... I would not expect this treatment in Lakeside

They had my oil filter but only one in stock and no gasket .. but he did give me a small discount on it for not having the gasket

We just now received, and every time we come in to this O'Reilly's store, the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. John, Javi, and Chris are excellent. They go above and beyond to help their customers. I am so grateful for everything they do!!!! They are passionate about what they do and it shows Thank you guys for always making our day a little better despite dealing with car issues

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. I called the store to see if they had an air filter in stock and the lady who answered the phone looked it up in the computer and said she did but when I asked her to verify that they had it she rudely said "I do have it!". All I wanted was to know if it was actually on the shelf or not before I drove all the way from El Cajon to Lakeside. I had already gone to three stores today that said they had them in stock but no ones stock was right. I can't afford to continue to waste gas because some employee is too lazy to walk to the aisle and make sure the filter is actually there.

Came in for a couple of items and got some on special (2 for 1) and had good assistance at reasonable prices. Help was courteous and exacting, no guesswork done. Been going here since 1981 (thru several name changes) and rarely disappointed with anything. Sure I'll be back! Great stuff, great service, good prices, always.

Chris did so great in dealing with my parts needs. I am a parts pro & know what it takes to match & find parts & I was impressed with how he immediately found the particular brand in comparison to the part # I gave. He then provided a really good option on another part I needed. I also noticed that he was able to focus on these tasks in-spite of other employees un-necessarily distracting him. I am a tough critic & always allow room for improvement. Nicely done Chris, tough environment / good results, keep the bar high!

The guys here are usually helpful. I buy a lot of stuff from here. Kinda pricey for like car wash stuff and accessories but the parts haven't been too bad. Wish they had a better rewards system though. I spend a ton of money here.

Called in earlier(around 2pm) to see if they had a part for my focus... They did not have one currently in stock. However, I was told over the phone that they could order the part and have it in by five that day. The rep also assured me that when the part arrived I would get a phone call. Waited for a phone call untill 8pm... Figured I would call and check to see if they had received the part. In talks with another rep, it turns out the part that was order for me was never placed... But it gets better. They had one in stock. I ask if I could pick it up tonight and the rep said yes and that they would be closing at ten. I hoped in the car and head out. Arriving, I was greeted by two friendly employees that went straight to helping me out. They went to look for the part in inventory and found it on the order shelf. The shelf where they hold parts for customers that have ordered them over the phone... However, this part was attached to a "Kevin" with no phone number. And just so happens the order was also placed around 2pm. I tried to explain to the rep that it is possible that the employee may have used Kevin in place of Keith and did not attach a phone number? It would be an interesting coincidence that a 2008 ford focus water pump was order from two separate people at similar times on the same day. Anyways I left, to be assured I could return tommorow at 10 am and they would have another water pump.... The exact same one that was ordered today. To sum this up... This appears to be a careless mistake. There was no empathy when I was trying to explain the situation in the store to the employee. There was no apology for the apparent mishap. No, I'm sorry we said you could pick it up tonight because when you had called the second time we had said it is in stock so just stop by.

O Reilly''s Lakeside used to be a decent place to get parts back in the day for my Diesel repair business. Like belts, hoses, engine oil, filters etc. Now days they don't carry anything! Nothing! Everything has to be mail ordered now on regular wear and tear parts that a real auto parts store should have in stock! The trucks I work on are the most common trucks on the road. There's nothing exotic about them that you should have to special order every single part. The Lakeside area is a commercial truck area. From semi trucks and heavy equipment to contractor and personal pickup trucks. The Santee store has more parts for trucks and it's not even a trucking area. Why every part is in National City or Moreno Valley makes no sense. Lakeside is in the middle of San Diego county. Logistically it makes alot of sense to have your parts located here!They also constantly move parts people around. So once you get them up to speed they bounce them to another store or they quit.So if you are looking for parts for your diesel truck and your heading to O Reilly's Lakeside, just keep driving and go to Autozone down the street or better yet just order your parts online. Because more then likely the auto parts stores around here are going to mail order your parts anyway.

So i bought brake pad and rotors from this store less than a year ago and covered with a lifetime warranty on the pad,now i need a new brake pad ,This guy Edgar doesn't wanna exchange the pad because of what i don't know.He finally gave me a new one after being very rude to me.Also he told me i shouldn't be buying "CHEAP "one.I couldn't believe this guy was calling me a cheap customer after spending more than $1500 in less than a year.I'm giving this store 3 stars because this same Edgar has sold and changed my battery couple months ago,If not I'll have given them 1 star.I won't stop buying from O'Reilly but i won't be going back to this store.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would be giving them 5 stars, but we were replacing a rotor on our van. The rotor we were replacing was under warranty and should have been replaced for free, but we were charged for it. Granted, it was a substantial savings, but the fact remains that it should've been replaced for free.

I just left with a new serpentine belt for my Dodge Dakota . The ypung lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and had great customer service..even printed me out a routing diagram to help me with installation. Better customer service and less crowded than Autozone which is actually closer to my house.

Went in to buy a headlight that was burned out. Had been referred to Lloyds to get it repaired went in but they said I needed to bring a bulb with me. Decided to stop at O'Reilly's on the way home to get the bulb. Edgar said he would take a look and if he was able to he would just replace the bulb for me right then. He gave it a great try but due to the way the headlight is situated it would have required pulling the bumper to get the headlight which Edgar wasn't equipped to do, so he apologized and sold me the headlight. He went out of his way to give me the BEST service I have received in such a longtime!!! Going to O'Reilly from now on before I go anywhere else.

Jeanette is extremely helpful and always happy to help me and other customers. I own a repair shop and because I'm on call 24/7 I come in at all hours of the day and night. I come in alot at night and Jeanette is normally there until closing. Everytime I come in she goes above and beyond what I get from other parts stores I deal with. She has a great attitude. Normally I just get a attitude from other stores in the area especially the night crews. Not her! Always smiling and happy to help me! Its very rare to find people like that these days. O'Reilly's chose a good one, THANK YOU JEANETTE!!!

This shop is really close to my house and covienent to reach from wintergardens Blvd. I found what I needed (a headlight bulb) very easily and the staff at the counter this visit were very friendly and helpful. They signed me up for a club card and we shared a few laughs as they checked me out.

as a loyal 14 year customer im used to getting good service but i feel i have to single out one of your employees his name is edgar i was working on a truck that had to be done that night it was 7pm and edgar spent almost an hour with me to make sure i got my part (there was a issue with the year of the truck) he figured it outall while taking care of other customers when they had sudden flood of people without making me or them thinking that he was putting anybody first WAY TO GO EDGAR

They really helped me out the other day when my brake calipers failed on me. These employees helped me find the correct parts and tools so that I could fix my brakes the correct way. Thank you for your help.

This O'Riley has some of the best customer service and knowledgeable employees in the business.I have been to many auto parts stores. This one (and by proxi the one in Santee really) is great. I am restoring a 58 Chevy, and have not been disappointed with both selection of parts and rapidness of ordering them if parts are not available in store.Really, thank you O'Riley for all your help and support!
