Absolutely fabulous service!! Fit me in the next day!!! In and out in less than 20 minutes. And $38 less than the other tire shop in town I didn't go to ....and did the job with a smile on their face ... Absolutely recommend them!!!

My family has been using Royal for years & not just for tires either, General automotive needs. Hector & coworkers have ALWAYS been Consistently straight forward, reliable, Honest, & Affordable.I Will Continue to Refer people to them, rather than any local Dealership.If there was a 10 Star Rating that would be what I d give. The splash guard was scraping the pavement. Royal Automotive was mega busy but agreed to help. I do buy my tires here but I have just hit 100,000 miles on a 14 year old vehicle so that means only one round of tires and one flat repair worth of visits. The guys were wonderful. Door handle, steering wheel, keys, stick shift all grease free. Very friendly, respectful guys. They for sure will take care of my brakes when they start to wear.

Once again Royal Automotive has saved my butt now. The first time I got a nail after driving to Fort Bragg and had to work the next day. They not only let me borrow their air compressor so I could repump my tire and got it in immediately, they were able to save me a few hundred bucks by patching it instead.This time I was on my way to Tahoe and found my tire flat in the morning. My trip was entirely paid for and not refundable. Hector was able to squeeze me in first thing and now I don t have to cancel my trip.These guys are always friendly and nice and will go out of their way to save you a few bucks. I m always impressed.

Always friendly service. They'll fix a flat and rotate your tires for free if you bought them there. ...Just a word of warning, you'd probably be more comfortable standing outside in the rain and cold than sitting in their dirty customer waiting area.

Been getting my tires here for years. They've also done other work on my car and on my sons truck. I appreciate that they're always straight with me, they do exactly what they say they're going to do and I believe they give me the best price possible. Great service. I'll keep going back.

Hector is honest and will give you the best assessment of what your car really NEEDS versus what can wait a few months to save your money! He was able to find and fix a problem caused by a repair that was re-done many times by a different shop with inadequate results. We are so thankful we found him due to a friend's recommendation.

..UPDATE:9/3/15;..What can I say,went to get a motor mount bolt replace and it barly cost me anything.Also, the tires dept. is awesome too, they can just about get you any size tire or make you want. Great bunch of guys,straightforward and no bull.!not only they do new cars,but Classic too. Strongly recommend them .! ( two thumbs up)

When we moved to Lakeport I was looking for a good mechanic to take my cars to. I went through two other shops before I went to this one and I am glad I found them. They are knowledgeable, nice and know what they are doing.

Royal Auto put the wrong filter in my Honda Civic, ruining the engine on a road trip home. I got the oil changed the day I drove home to see my family in Albuquerque, NM. On the way back home to Lakeport, one week later, my engine suddenly stopped working. The auto mechanic in Flagstaff, where we were lucky enough to break down... at 4 am, said the wrong filter had caused oil to leak, destroying the engine. What did Pat, owner of Royal Auto do? Deny everything, refuse to pay, and basically put on THE WORST display of customer service I have ever seen. Pat and Royal Automotive refused to pay for anything, no towing, no new engine to replace the one they had ruined. Nothing, until the parts had been inspected by NAPA. I rented a car to come home to Lakeport, and had to go to Pat and threaten a law suit if he did not pay for my engine. I do not have $4,200 just laying around. He stated he would not pay for anything until Napa parts stated that my engine had indeed been destroyed due to a wrong oil filter. A process that would take 6 weeks and bankrupt me with rental car fees. Finally, after much yelling from me and total denial from him he put the engine on his credit card. After a week I drove back down to Flagstaff (12 hours, one weekend) to get my car. The Napa report came back just last week and guess what IT WAS THE WRONG OIL FILTER THAT DISTROYED MY ENGINE. They put my partner and I through hell, I missed three days of work. Did anyone at Royal even apologize? No, Pat said I should check my oil every other tank. Basically insinuating that it was my fault all of this happened. He paid all of the expenses that I incurred 6 weeks later and after more arguing . But in my opinion you should not be operating a business.

I kno its a shop. But it looks like a shop with no pride. Very dirty bathroom and floors dead Flys on window sils, floors haven't seen a mop in years. As far as there work top notch. Will return for the work.

HECTOR AT ROYAL AUTOMOTIVE STAYED OPEN LATE FOR ME DUE TO A BLOW OUT ON A TIRE AND REPAIRED IT FOR ME.. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE... I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK THERE TO PURCHASE ALL MY TIRES FOR NOW ON.
