All in all was a nice family outing on a Friday night. The only thing that makes me only give 4 stars is the fact that they charge you now to bring in your own food and we pre-ordered our ticket and they couldn't find it. Otherwise our girls first drive in was a success. We happened to go while the fair was in town so there was maybe 6 other vehicles there.

Been going for 40 years.Fantastic atmosphere.Excellent movies.Food is expensive and you have to pay $10 extra to bring your own food.Don't really agree with that. When kids were young, we could not afford the snack bar.Had to bring our own food. Now we just eat dinner before we go.Going this weekend.Barbie and Mission Impossible.

First experience in a drive in cinema. Was pretty good. You could tune in to a specific radio station to hear the sound. There were some snacks and drinks sold there, or you could pay to bring your own drinks. They also do double features.

Tons of room all over to park. There is a grill that cooks fresh food made to order. Movie had great quality and easy to hear.

It's lot's of fun and I go whenever they play a film I can enjoy. I wish they'd play classic cinema more often. Their selection of new movies has kept me away all but one night this season. I wish they'd play classics more often, 80's action films, samurai films, etc.

I love that I can relive my childhood memories with my grandchildren by watching movies on the big screen under the stars. (Update)Although I can understand the need for the snack bar to make money, it's already $30 to go in even with ONLY 2 people so why must I pay $10 for bringing my own drinks that I ALREADY paid for somewhere else?? I buy the popcorn because it's great but drinks are way overpriced and we just can't afford it. It's cheaper for my fiance and I to get tickets to the theater. We like going to the drive in though because it reminds us of our childhood days. We just don't go very much anymore because of the increased prices sadly.

The hot food they offer was a wonderful addition to the menu. They added in a designated smoking area. The prices for the snack bar have gone THROUGH THE ROOF, simultaneously the quality went down. The cherry on top is that they now charge you to bring in your own food.

They were easy to access. I could hear well from speakers near me as well as my own radio. The snack bar was well organized for virus safe pick-up. All in all it was a good experience. I'll be back.

We had a very fun evening out with two other couples. For one of the few entertainments for our small rural community of Lakeport CA. The price is reasonable for a doubled feature. Plenty of drinks and snacks to choose from, friendly service, clean restrooms. Very enjoyable evening out with friends.

I would have given a 5, but there appears to be lack of control of the audience. Mamy rules seemed to not really apply. Young children were allowed to run around with giant bendy glow sticks on one side, a lively party of young adults partying on the other side....not a super enjoyable evening.I do love our local drive in and hope people support them. I just can't give 5 stars when it wasn't an enjoyable evening.

not an unpleasant theater . Clean and a nice atmosphere. Staff were attentive and even ran the snack bar after hours so the people who bought the large popcorn and/or soda could still get their refills on the way out.

I went to get my first vaccine for the coronavirus and the process was very organized and ready for us. We were directed to each booth first all my information was given next booth given the vaccine and then last told where to park for the last 15 minutes we had to wait in case of any reaction to the vaccine allergic reaction that is. After that we could leave.

Good old-fashioned fun. We have been bringing our family there for years. First, second, and now third generation are enjoying the drive-in. Affordable entertainment for the entire family. Easy to find location behind the main theater. A must see if you are in Lakeport.

This is always one if my favorite summer family and friends activities. There is bbq hamburger when you order and great dogs with plenty of food and drinks at the snack stand. Save your large glasses for the next visit and it is cheaper for a refill. The restrooms are clean as are the grounds. Rent a radio for a few bucks with a $10 deposit. Don't forget the bug spray but if you do they have that also. The only thung i do not like is the $5 charge implemented a couple years ago if you bring your own food in. We are often low on funds but if you're thrifty or have diet restrictions and want to bring your own movie snacks be prepared for an extra fee (not applied to baby/toddler food).

The movies were good but the attendant's were not curtious to either me and my family or the people next to us who had special needs children. We had to move our car further down the line and then the attendant's were constantly looking in and walking by it .

Great friendly environment only giving 4 stars though because lately the movie radio station has been super staticy with lots of interference that really ruins the quality of sound of the movie. It also might be time for them to invest in a better projector the image just isn't as crisp as I remember*side note* it be nice if they could hold off playing movies until its dark enough. Last time watched about 30mins of a movie I couldn't even see because daylight, don't get on the intercom during the ending credits scenes and if employees could be a bit more pro Active about ppl with headlights on still. So far though I would say they do a good job and maybe don't want to have confrontation because some people are just jerks and take it so personal.

A Lake County tradition. Great snack bar. Old fashioned drive in. Nice family audiences. Screen could be bigger. They are ready to give cars a jump if their battery dies. Nice staff.

This is a very long review, please bear with me. Drove from clearlake to get in line at 8:21pm. Yes, I looked because we were 5 minutes late from when the gates open. Asked a traffic control girl where to get in line at and she directed me to the end of a very long line. Got in line and waited, and waited, and waited for 30 minutes before I got to the actual driveway when I asked if the movie would be playing on time. She said that she thought they would wait until all cars were in. Once I entered 'the final stretch' an extremely rude man directing traffic got into a very heated verbal altercation with an irritated waiting patron next to me, who was kicked out, but not before he almost hit the traffic control guy with his vehicle several times. While this is happening the car next to me, who was 1 car in front of me was let in to pay while I had a cone placed in front of my car. Another 15 minutes passed while I waited for TWO long lines of cars to enter in front of me. I complained along with 3 other people who walked up to the extremely rude man to ask what the hold up was. He explained, extremely rudely, to all of us that he KNEW what he was doing and he is POSITIVE that those other cars were waiting longer than us. I took a poll of 4 cars going in front of me how long they had been waiting, each of them said 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile I was approaching 50 minutes. I finally pay and enter at about 9:05 and the movie is playing... I go back to ask how much we had missed and the nice young lady at the enter gate says "16 minutes". I suggested she should tell people the movie has started. Ok now the last car pulls in at 9:20 ish. I then go to find the owner to complain formally. I was nice, understanding, yes I get it was the busiest night. HOWEVER, the owner Scott, pretty much disregards my complaints saying that the rude traffic guy has been yelled at all night, they have to let traffic through before CHP shows up, and it isn't his fault that people showed up late, the gates opened at 7:15. Excuse me, none of that excuses extremely rude traffic guy's behavior and the website says gates open at 8:15 and I showed up at 8:21. He offers a refund so I can come back tomorrow. I say thank you, but I will not be sitting in that line for a 2nd night in a row. Point of this review is that this establishment has poor management and poor customer service. I probably will not return which is unfortunate because drive-in's are a unique experience that is dying.

Low effort COVID conscientiousness.I do not recommend visiting this venue for the foreseeable future.Website said windows could be up the entire time. That was misleading, if not a flat lie. Twice I was expected to roll my window down by onsite staff. Once at the check in booth to take a paper slip, and again when an onsite persons stood immediately next to a passenger of mine and asked them to roll down their window to 'talk.' about where to park.

Great place, lots of parking & screen in good condition. Great snack bar. Only downside was driving this far for a single feature. All drive-in's I've ever gone to do double features.

The state of the theater is disgusting. The bathrooms look like they haven't been properly cleaned in months. I only stayed for Star Wars. If the film were any longer the seats would've given me pressure ulcers. I will not be returning to this theater.

Best summer movie place to go. Price fits the budget, lots of friends can go. This year they added a change if you bring your own food. I pay the cost helps me save the movie prices, and I only spend $30 on snacks. Oh and did I tell you, 2 movie's or more for a family of four at half the price

Love that we still have a drive in around us. Been going here since I was a kid and love the fact that I can share this with my daughter. Please stay around! Great place!

Getting out of the house is a challenge during the COVID pandemic. This place is the answer. Great picture, sound and food. I drove from Sonoma to go here and it was well worth it.

I love this place. Not only is it one of the few remaining automobile theater left in the country but I have fond memories of here because I grew up going to the drive-in on Friday night.

Great quality projector. For prices are actually reasonable for a movie theater. Sounds is through a radio station, which is convenient. Double feature for a full car for only $32. You can't beat that.

The movie selections weren't my favorite but the drive in was fun, and the concession stand had many options and good.
