Thank you so much for repairing our tire last minute! From out of state and didn t have much options. These guys saved us from buying a new tire.

I called to get an alignment because my mechanic recommended them.WORST IDEA EVER!Not only was the counter guy very short with us when we came in, he just said keys with his hand out, they didn't call to tell us they found issues that stopped them from doing the work we went in for, they also parked our vehicle under the Osprey nest in their lot.We get there to pick up the vehicle to have it covered in bird poop, and ALSO he gives us no estimate for the work our vehicle would need.Terrible customer service.Will not be going back.ZERO STARS

I have trusted all my vehicles with Davis Tire & Auto over the years. Quality, no nonsense, fair priced service. How car maintenance always should be. The owner and his crew are good knowledgeable people.

Totally ripped off $150 for this trailer wiring job and to pack the wheel bearings that we're supposed to replace with new ones for a 2000 mile road trip to Arkansas.

Went in to have a tire checked because I was told it had a slow leak. Was so glad to find out it that it wasn't one of my new tires. Was because of the cracking of the chrome being so old. He put some sealant on it also put on a new valve stem and wouldn't charge me anything. I am a senior person and if I lived here I would only deal with Davis Tire for anything to do with my car. They are fantastic.

The best service ever! My gas cap got stuck and despite trying everything I could not get it off. I called three different automotive places to help me before calling Davis tire and auto Center. I was told by everyone they were too busy, but Davis auto told me to swing on by and they would look at it for me. They immediately knew what to do, fixed it in two minutes and didn t even charge me. If I ever have any more problems with my car, hands-down this is where I will take it. Thank you!!!

I pulled in here just after 8 AM with a flat tire while traveling through Lake County. Turned out they couldn't help me because, the flat wants repairable and having a full set of new tires waiting to be installed at home, I wanted a used tire. They sent me down the street to Carlton Tire where I was quickly back on the road. I appreciate the referral!

These folks are quick and professional. I've never had any issues with their service. They're friendly, oh and I enjoy the free popcorn they serve in the waiting area.

Great service, and a very friendly staff. Rick, George, and gang are very down-to-earth folks, albeit very professional. I had a good experience personally, and the work they did on my car was top-notch. Would I go back? I am having this service station work on another project for me at the end of this month! As a local student, and married man who is extremely busy, it's great to have a local establishment where I do not have to worry about my families vehicle being properly maintained, nor the quality of the labor. I drop it off, they fix it, I pick it up...it's that simple.

Great work (struts on a Honda Civic) and very fast. Also only bought the parts that were needed, and not a bunch of unecessary stuff that would have cost me 600 bucks more. I would definitely use them again. Thanks gents.

I called made an appointment with Ray and Rick, Both quoted me on the phone based on the 3 services I needed. Long story short, they fixed my car! My car is running better than ever. I have a Subaru Forester, no engine light is on, or any other of the censored lights. Car starts up well all the TLC Davis tires did was much appreciated. Thank You!!!

I had work done on my car in February. Service was excellent, price was reasonable for the job. Car started making noise indicating a slightly loose drive belt. They did not charge to correct the problem. I would recommend them highly.

Rick and his guys are always great, whether it be tires or any other problems with my cars. Above everything else they are a very honest group who don't try and sell you things you dont want or need. I only have them 4 stars because they are so busy that it takes a bit of time to get your car in.

Rick and the Davis Tire and Auto crew are the best in Lake County, if not the state. You have a automotive problem they can fix it with the fastest service and the best customer service in the industry. No other place I would rather go for auto servicing.

Quick, efficient, great inspection, rotated tires for free. Saved me $350 by doing a thorough inspection of my wheels and brakes and suggested I check to see if had a warranty to cover my repair.

I had an appointment with Mackey Tire center to get my alignment done and had explained to them that I have had extensive modifications done to my car and that I would prefer not to have anyone test drive the car as it is very particular on how to operate.On the phone they said no problemWhen I got down there it was a different story and I decided to go ahead and let him pull it in but he wanted to pull it around to the back of the shop.well he started trying to force the stick shift to get it to go in to reverse rather then rev matching to let it go into gear then when I told him you have to give it a little gas he over revved it then I see him go to drive it down a steep incline along the side of their shop with no regard to my lowered car!I stopped him just in time and told him my car is lowered and would scrape badly if I hadn't stopped him .He in return gets out of my car and without saying anything to me he walks in to the office and told rick to get me out of there.I followed behind and rick told me to take it some where else and not to come back.well I will gladly never go back and I have told many people now in this small community about it and will continue to warn people of this place who treated me badly.There is a great place just down the street that works on race cars and daily drivers that doesn't appear as nice a place from an eyes view but never judge a book by its cover.They got me in right away and their prices are good and the people are professional and nice.hope this helps someone save some headaches.5/30/2014 I just heard they have gotten a New manager and owner so I will have to go down and see what's up with them and post a new review.

Picked up a massive nail in the sidewall of our rental car tyre right outside this place.They looked at it for us and found it was beyond repair. Unfortunately they didn t have the right tyre in stock so fitted the spare for us.Go the guy to speak to Dollar Rentals about what type of tyre we needed, he suggested a garage down the road and they sorted us out.Great guy, wouldn t take anything for helping out and getting our vacation back on the road.So although we didn t actually use their services I would recommend just for being a good guy.

I took my truck to have it smog tested......These people took $69.00 from me & told me I had no Catalytic converter...This is a visual inspection that is to come before the smog test....There is no way an auto can pass a smog without one.....They sure took my $69,00 even though the visual test are to be performed first....I wouldn't trust this shop again with a flat tire, even though I bought 4 new ones 4 months ago from these rascals.DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT ! Just opportunist for $$$$...

Ric Davis runs a great shop and does a good job of being fair, reasonable, and doesn't create add-on items that you don't need. You get what you pay for, with good workmanship and fair pricing.

Davis tire and auto service is a 5 star shop in my opinion. They stand behind there work and the products sold. If you need tires, vehicle repair,or a LOF, this is the best place to go.Personally it is the only shop I use here Lakeport.

I came here 10 years ago and the service was so bad I left in tears. They've since changed hands and I am more than impressed. They were friendly, accommodating and over exceeded my expectations! Thanks guys

I had just put a new master cylinder on and couldn't get to the bleeding of the brakes and they did it for me cheaply and efficiently.I was very pleased with their customer service

Took in a horse trailer with a brake issue and all else working. The brake turned out to be a loose wire at the brake and was repaired $50. Picked up the trailer and no lights were working. They told us it must be a be a loose connection to leave the car. They charged $100 for going over the car though the problem was found to be a "loose wire" on the trailer tail light. These people are BS artists.

No bad experience there. Actually the truck I picked up was better than it ever has been. New torsion bars and new front tires. And has never driven so good.

I don't take my vehicles anywhere else! Rick is usually cheaper than other shops, but biggest reason I come back is he doesn't try to charge for things that don't need fixing and always tries to make it right.

Knew what was wrong..and fixed it.....at a reasonable price....I would recommend Rick and His Team....and They were fast.....things were done in 1 hr....
