Replaced a doorhanle for free had lifetime warranty but I had no reseat just had to give them the old one

They can make you feel like a criminal or really help, but God forbid you have a return so be really sure of your purchase

My husband went in there to get a shut off valve for my water line and the one kind we wanted they didn't have. So the man there said get a plug and a cap it will work with seal all. So my trailer is flooded now. If you don't know what your doing you shouldn't be working at a hard ware..

Prices O. K. but I always take a picture of the price on the shelf as I find when you get to the register it's always higher than the posted price whereby I have to show them a picture of the prices.

Always personal & caring service when I go in. Today, I could barely walk due to my back being out, but I needed to make a return on an item that was purchased incorrectly. Debbi saw me walk in with a cane, immediately accessed my situation, told me to sit right down & she would go to the back of the store to take care of my return. Caring & community oriented she was all the way. I was beyond grateful.

Great place to find what you need, almost always when you need it. Great selection, variety and stock. Only pet peeves: Pricing is sometimes absent or confusing on the shelves and if two prices are listed you'll, most likely end up paying the higher price.Overall a great spot for tools,materials, parts, gardening and miscellaneous.

The people in the back are usually pretty helpful. The young kids who work the front desk are great. The only problem in the store is the older gal with glasses. Doesn't matter what you need she wont help you. Half the time she claims her register doesn't work. If it were up to me she would be unemployed since she serves no purpose.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!Empty shelves, no prices on items, lazy employees. Definitely NOT a "helpful hardware store". Rob, in the nursery is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as are the guys out in the yard. But inside, is a HUGE waste of time and double the prices of True Value!! You'll end up going to True Value anyways because THIS Ace will not have what you need!I've shopped at Ace all of my life. This one saddens me greatly!!!I'm new to the area. I have a homestead to build this year, I won't be giving Lake Isabella Ace anymore of my time or money!

Debbie took care of me the other day. What a great gal! You can tell she knows all the regulars and laughs and jokes with everyone that comes in. She's an asset to the stores customer service!

The service reps are great. But beware of the plants you want to buy. It's not home Depot you can't return them. The plants are over watered and lose all the nutrients. As soon as you plant them your giving them CPR!

I like this place. Not as much retail areas as the True Value, but they do, for the most part, have what I am looking for and have very good quality stuff.I needed a nice big heavy duty water hose for my pressure washer and was very pleasantly surpised at the quality CHOICE and thw prices, regular retail prices, we're every bit as competitive as thw major hardware stores.Only reason rating at a 4 instead of a 5 is that the regulars that work there, I'm sure not purposefully and positively sure not personally, twns to react and treat local regulars with more enthusiasm and friendliness as they do with me. Ive been here 6 years now but sont go there rwfular enough for them to recognize me as such.I am treated especially well when a newer employee is helping me, like today's visit. And now I think I will purposefully seek out newer people qhen gpong there as my shoppong experience always tends to be so much more pleasant.Lastly, and sadly, I'm not sure I'll ever really get excellent service when it comes to needing something from the back yard. Pit of my 10+ visita6, ive had ONE good experience where the gentleman offered to load my trunk with the 12 bags of white rocks. That was 2 years ago, but the only time they treated me like a regular and like a good customer (outside).I don't like to give bad ratings for personal treatment. I really wpuld prefer a more friendly and personalized service, but in the end, I still get what I go there for and will continue going the few times a year that I do go. But for now, I prefer the welcoming smiles and asking if I need help while looking around that I get from True Value and will go to Ace when I cant find what I am lookong for there.

The most thing I love about L&M Lumber it. The customer service is over and beyond for their customers and if you have any kind of Home Improvement project or gardening project they are the go-to people very very helpful highly recommend them them actually personally I don't go anywhere else but to L&M

Terrible customer service. I've had the need to go to this hardware store a few times, and every time I've had nothing but problems with thier employees. This latest one had a worker by the name of Cecil basically start an argument and then say he can't help me because I had something to say after being yelled at. If you can go to another store for your needs, do so.

This is a great place some things are priced a little higher than others but you pay for convenience of not having to drive to Bakersfield or ridgecrest

I'm refurbishing my evaporative cooler. Ace is a couple minutes from my house and they always have what I need. They have a guy in the lumber yard that hooked me up with an awesome block and concrete guy. Nice

Always love ace been going to one ace or another since I was a little girl,my dad use to take me and iam 68 the people in this store R very knowledgeable the man in gardening knows his stuff and is always willing to help cashiers are friendly I enjoy going

I got asked if I needed any help finding something 3 times I was in the store 20 min. People were all polite the store was very organized easy to find what you were looking for.

The sales people are ready to help you. any time you need something or have a question, Most employees know their way around the entire store and can direct you to the right area.

Same review I just posted they didn't have the tool that I needed when true value did and I was kind of surprised that they didn't have it
