I saw some low reviews because the place is busy , and they are not on time. It s an Auto repair shop, not a McDonald. Seriously,When a place is busy, that means they have a good reputation. Brought my family car here with a damaged tailgate. It didn t take more than 3 weeks for the job to be done, and that was surprising. First, they handled my insurance company.Second, ordered the parts, then painted. Really satisfied with overall experience. Thanks to Mada and his crew.

So unprofessional, disorganized and rude treatment as well. Couldn t get a person to come meet me outside even though we had an appointment, they were too busy. Then after they get around to meeting to do an estimate they called back telling me that the price $3k obviously trying to scare me off and then without even five minutes between speaking to another person get quoted a completely different price. It s obvious this place doesn t like working. They took my vehicle in when they didn t need to and then now are trying to charge me money to keep it there, even though they were supposed to be working on the vehicle. This place likes to just earn money through scams stay away. Now they wanna make up stories about youtube to save face and try to discredit lol such a shifty establishment

Max and his team at South County Auto Body are great. I put a huge crack in my Jeep's hardtop and they did an excellent job repairing this to look like it never happened. Sergio and Mada were very friendly, understanding, and professional throughout the process from the initial estimate, updates during the repair, the final invoice, and the vehicle pick up experience. Other body shops insisted I needed to repair more parts during the initial estimate, but Sergio did not try to up sell me. He accurately predicted that my car would take three days to repair, so I appreciate South County Auto Body's efficiency

After an accident I thought would result in my Trans-Am being totaled, since it looked bad and nobody wanted to do the fiberglass work, I ended up finding South County Auto Body. Everyone else was telling me it was going to cost more than the car was worth, and wouldn t bother quoting a price. Not only was South County Auto Body willing to give a quote and do the fiberglass, but also the metal, frame straightening, and more.To everyone s surprise, the insurance company said the car was worth enough to do the work, save my car, and then some. South County Auto Body got started and kept me appraised of how it was progressing.Sergio at South County Auto Body was super helpful, very knowledgeable about the process of working with my car insurance, and a genuine car guy with a passion for wrenching on a classic. Knowing my car was in his hands, and would be repaired the right way, put me at ease. Right from the start he proved his tenacity for finding parts on a classic car, calling all over the U.S. to locate a rear bumper cover that neither my insurance rep. or I could locate. He continued with finding a rare rear bumper assembly, including everything under the bumper cover.At the end of the insurance work, Sergio went over the work they did, and I was very pleased. The car drove well, the body lines were straight, the gaps were even, the paint matched, and the damage was gone. He also provided a list of recommendations for rack and pinion, tie-rod ends, wheel hubs, rear coils, and other mechanical work not related to the accident.After seeing what they did for the insurance work, I agreed to have the additional work done. When it was done, my Trans-Am looked good, rolled straight, didn t pull when I hit the brakes, has steering that hasn t been that tight since it was new, and rode very smooth.Everyone I talked with at South County Auto Body was pleasant to talk with. To a person, they all lit up when we started talking cars. You can tell, these guys are in it because they love the work they are doing. This is the kind of place I want working on my car. While they are in it to run a business, get paid and take care of their families, they are going to do the work right. South County Auto Body has earned my full recommendation, and I m looking forward to when I can have them help me out with my car s interior.

Over the past year and a half, I've taken a couple classic muscle cars to South County Auto Body and couldn't be happier. Mada and his staff are true professionals and really know what they're doing.I had sections of two different cars that needed to be repaired and painted.Prior to painting sections of the car, I had asked them to adjust the hood, align the fenders / door gaps, plus take out a few small dings. Mada called and asked me to stop by and check out their work, before the cars was going to be painted.Everything that adjusted or repaired looked amazing. I gave them the go ahead to paint.Once the car was painted I got a call and was asked to their shop to take a look. I was thrilled!! They were able to match a GM factory, blue metal flake that was over 19 years old. . . . it was perfect. On another car, they did the same process and matched a 42 year old paint by GM and it was again. . . . dead on!Hey . . . these guys are professional, a great value and know what they're doing. If you have a classic or an everyday driver and need a great body shop, I truly suggest you stop in to South County Auto Body. . . . . I'm sure you'll be as happy as I am. I took my car for frame straightening last week, and was amazed by the quality and transparency of their work!I had called multiple shops to see if the could do this job and they all declined to do it, but Sergio said they could do it it a day. When i came to pick my car up everything was back to 100% factory specs and the price they quoted me was extremely fair. It's rare to find a shop that cares about your car as much as you do, and this place is it!

I had the chance to deal with South County Auto Body after my car collision, with it s new owner (Mada), friendly and professional team.They handled the discussion with the insurance company in professional till received the final approval.The shop had body repair, paint and mechanical repair capabilities.My car after body repair and paint is fantastic and I am happy to get it back to it s excellent condition.I ll recommend this workshop for any future repair.Service: Body & Trim

I had a fantastic experience at South County Auto Body. I had brought my hardtop from my prowler to another body shop that stroked me along for 6 weeks. For a long time I've been driving by South County Auto body seeing all the great street rods hot rods collector cars high-end cars that they have been doing over the years and finally drove over to see about getting my hardtop painted. They took it that day had it back to me within one week and it just looked beautiful they even installed the rear window for me. Quality of work was fantastic their customer service number one. The price they gave me was just great and was even much less than the first company I went to. I am so satisfied with their work I will bring all of my cars there and I recommend anybody with a collector car classic car high-end car car you care about that requires any paint body modifications etc check out South County Auto body you will be pleasantly surprised.

Had a couple of jobs done here and very happy with both. Had a wing paint matched in a very detailed high metallic blue, can't tell any difference in the paint colors so it was matched perfectly. The install itself was pretty difficult as well since it was an Evo 8 wing going on a BMW - took care of it no problem. Also paint matched a mercedes fuel door lid for me in high metallic black, looks perfect.Recently went to get a quote on a couple of items and they were very honest about the pricing, whether it was worth it to get it done, and some alternatives to avoid paying for such small fixes.Great shop, friendly owners and staff, and will continue to take my cars here for as long as I possibly can!Thanks guys!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

What do I look for when looking for a place to do body work on my car? Hopefully the same thing everyone else is looking for:1) Fair prices. Too high and you feel like the place is ripping you off. Too low and you feel like you're not getting quality work.2) Expertise. The people working on your car should know what they're doing.3) Great and prompt service. Being treated like a human being and with respect is important. The work should take just the right amount of time.I'm happy to say that South County Auto Body provides all three. We took my wife's car here when someone scratched up the side of her car to the metal. We reached out for a quote which was quite fair for the work being performed and the results were spectacular.The work took about three days and when we picked up the car, paint was perfectly matched and we can't even tell that the car was even damaged! I know where I'll be taking my vehicles to get work done from now on.Thank you so much for the excellent service and fantastic work!

I really like them and trust them 100%.I had several very good experiences with South County... someone ran into my car, these guys fixed it pretty quickly and so that I couldn't even tell there ever was anything there.I like going to them. It's a family feel. I think They are just good ppl, hard working salt-of-the earth type, I can just tell that they're the real deal.BTW , I was referred to them by my mechanic whom I've been w/ for years.

I can say without hesitation that I have never been to any auto body and mechanic shop where the the quality of work is comparable to none and the prices are reasonable, the team goes above and beyond and are always. It's obvious when looking at the final product that owners Max, Rae, and there dedicated team I have years of experience and do quality work. Max, even if extremely busy, will stop what he is doing and make time for each individual customer to address any questions they may have. The few times that I called and he was unavailable I wasn't expecting a call back until the following day sometimes longer. I was shocked that if I left a message for Max I'd hear from him the same day sometimes even just minutes later. Max, Rae, and the team care about the customer not just about running a business and making money that is very rare nowadays and I highly recommend South County Auto Body because overall experience, the final product when my car was finished, and the excellent customer service combined with Max going above and beyond and actually caring about the customer is something he most likely won't experience elsewhere.

Took my x3 here per a referral and the team here really knows how to handle all situations. Had a rear bumper accident along with both doors on the driver side and boy does the car look like new! Max, Rae & Team were great, they handled everything the insurance company threw at them and the struggles with the dealership with ease! They really know how to take care of their customers and I really appreciate everything they ve done, this was no easy task but they fought through to get me my car back to the beauty it was before the accidents!Thanks again guys!

Awesome body shop. They managed to salvage and repair a damaged bedside quarter panel that was folded up like a pretzel. Finished product looks just like new. Great job on the paint color matching too on both the panel and a bed shell that was also brought in, color matches perfectly. Prices were very reasonable with great quality of work.

In 2006, the front end of my 1994 Toyota pickup was smashed by a deer collision. I had bodywork done here. They replaced all the parts at a decent price. My problem was with the poor alignment of the parts and they didn t replace a lower fan shroud that affects AC.The grill is so high, poorly aligned/ installed, that the hood sits noticeably higher than it should and the side blinkers appears to be forced into place (cracked from forcing into place) as they still appear tweaked and crooked. I remember noticing right away when I went to pick up. Then the older man threatened to bash the centerpiece piece down with a huge mallet to fix it. Couldn t believe my ears and eyes. Of course, I told him not to do that. Who does that?! I was younger and didn t know what to do about that kind of injustice so I drove away with lots of question marks. 13 years and I still can t believe that experience. Sometimes the hood latch releases and have to pull over to re-latch.Not all parts were replaced, still missing, like the lower fan shroud that helps the AC work with proper efficiency at low driving speed (around town) to cut down repair costs I guess. Two stars because despite the horrible treatment, everything has worked & functioned properly since south county auto body had made the repairs (including body, and mechanical work) at relatively low price.The scars are the poor treatment and threats after their negligent and incomplete work. They are also not accredited through Better Business Bureau so no accountability for poor work/service.BEWARE!

The owner, Max, is absolutely AWESOME and we bring our cars to his shop for service regularly. The level of service and quality of the work is worth the drive for piece of mind. Highly recommend!!

They gave an estimate that included damage not caused in the accident and their estimate was almost twice that of others. Hours of labor was much higher that other places.
