I had a very unpleasant experience and won't be returning. I made an appointment for vehicle maintenance at 10 AM on February 1st through the Caradvise app. I arrived on time and, after checking in, was told it would take about an hour. So, I went to a coffee shop nearby to wait. After a little over an hour, I returned to the store and found that my car's maintenance hadn't even started. Meanwhile, a lady who checked in after me had already completed her service and left with her car. It was only then that they started working on my car. I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes standing there before the service was finally completed. I'm not sure what caused this apparent discrimination, making me wait till the end to be serviced. Also, they didn't put any protective covers on my seat and steering wheel during the maintenance, resulting in some grease on my steering wheel.

There were were some definite communication issues internally regarding the service provided on one of our work trucks, but I will say that in the end their team made things right and I am very satisfied with the end result. Kevin and the rest of the team were excellent at trying to figure out what was wrong with my Chevy Traverse. I was so impressed by how Kevin went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong. He also didn't try to do any unnecessary work when they couldn't diagnose it at first, which of course I appreciate. Thanks, guys! We'll be back the next time we need help with one of our vehicles.

I order 4 tires for my car, they did not have in stock the tires that my car need. So, I make an appointment for a week later. When I went for the tires, they claim they did not receive the delivery.They did not botero to call me the day before not even the day of the appointment. I will never go to Pep Boys again ...After that I went to Firestone in Lake Forest and I got all 4 tires plus alignment inmediatez with no appointments and great service.I put 1 star so I can post this review, they deserve a -5 star

The team arranged a last minute servioce on a Saturday. I dropped oity at 11:00 and had it back at 6:00. They guided me through things that needed to be checked and done at 85,000 miles and what items could wait. They also proactively saved me $50.00 from the estimate by combining labor costs for a couple of the tasks.

My daughters car needed front brakes after they inspected the car I was told it need a water pump a new serpentine belt and a thermostat which would be a additional $1,200 add to the 250 brake job My daughter car didn t need any of that ! The young manFernando that helped us was very helpful but the people who inspected the car are a little shady trying to add to the profit of that pep boys establishment ! I ve been a customer of Pep boys for over 50 years and that wasn t a good feeling. I just glad I went with my daughter so she wouldn t be taken advantage of ! Fernando gets five stars for his politeness and helpfulness

These guys are very irresponsible. They made me a brake check, which took about 40 minutes. After that, the dude on the counter said that I urgently need to replace the brake pads and brake fluid. It was supposed to take another couple of hours. After two hours of waiting, another gentleman came to me, who said that in fact the condition of the brake system of my car meets the standards and there is no need to change anything. In total, more than three hours of waiting to get nothing.But it was not all. After I got home I received a message from Pep Boys, that they are sorry about I couldn t make recently appointment service! And thanked me for informing them about that! And suggested me to reschedule the appointment! What do you think my properly response would be?

Couldn t be worse than this experience they hold my car for the whole day andexcepted my car early morning on Friday around 8:45 AM and when I called them at 2:30 PM after five hours even more they told me come and get the car so when I got there Kevin, the manager he said we were busy and we couldn t do your car job so I paid for my Uber three times and I didn t have my car for the whole day because Pep Boys excepted to do my car job and even they didn t say sorry or like my apologies or something like that. I don t know who will answer this to me that was divorce experience to me as a regular customer.

PepBoys Lake Forest was in my "Best" list". Then I made an appointment and took my car for a simple oil change. How long it will usually take? My wife was there waiting for the car to be ready. I picked her up, two hours later. The car was not ready. A simple oil change took them four hours. No reason provided by the customer service. I was pisssed. They were amazed as myself. Should be something with the management. I never had such bad experience at this location.

Stay Away! I was extremely disappointed to have them try the bait and switch when going in for an oil change. I set up the appointment and went through their menu for the car, type of engine, etc, for a Conventional oil change.My wife then went in and they tried to force her to pay double the amount for synthetic oil. Keep in mind that we have previously gone to this same Pepboys for conventional oil changes and never had a problem. Plus, for this 7 year old nissan suv, we have never used anything other than conventional oil.This kind of scam is why I'll never take any of our 3 cars to that Pepboys again, and highly recommend others stay away!

Advisor told me to bring the car in between 10:00 and 2:00 for they will alignment and tire rotation. Brought the car in and they only performed the alignment and said they didn't have time for the tire rotation yet they closed down the shop at 6:30 where there was plenty of time to do the tire rotation as promised.

- Friendly service staff- Long wait which is not what I was informed regardless of the appointment being made or not- The technicians did not perform the services the associate asked. There seems to be some miscommunications between the front office and the technicians, which is concerning.

Great job at a reasonable price - again! In by 8, out by about noon. Open until 7 PM. I highl recommend PB Lake Forest.

Excellent experience replacing a dead battery. After jumping the car to get it to Pep Boys, it was dead in their parking lot. They said, "No problem, we'll take care of it." And they did. They had someone run to another store to get the correct size battery (my hybrid takes a special size). They kept me up to date with the progress. The price was very reasonable. At no extra cost, they even tested the old battery to make sure it was faulty (it was), and tested my ignition and alternator to confirm there were no issues there. Great service and much faster and less expensive than the dealership.

Sometime in Julyish, 2023, I brought my vehicle here for a couple of new tires. Dominic, who is the assistant services manager, was very helpful and informative. Danny and Prescy were awesome as well in replacing the tires. All of them were efficient and professional. In and out in about 25 minutes. No surprises. Solid work. I would definitely return in the future.Returned here on 10/27/23 for a tire rotation and oil change. Had an appointment scheduled at 4p. Although they were super busy, Kevin managed to complete the task in a timely manner. He was very helpful and customer service oriented. Fernando assisted me with check out and provided me with some solid advice about my brakes. Really appreciate the authenticity here. Solid customer service. Efficient work. Dom is managing a very solid team.

Outstanding service! Speed was impeccable and the thing I appreciated more than anything what the gentleman s honesty when he spoke with me. I was concerned j needed new brakes and rotors (an easy $400-$600 bill) but he assured me that my brakes are not at the point of needing repair quite yet. He saved me hundreds of dollars just by being an honest guy! It was either Fernando or Daniel I apologize I don t know which one I spoke to but regardless - they re all amazing! Thank you guys! I highly recommend their services!

Pep Boys installed my tires that I ordered online from Priority Tires. Process was seamless - I just showed up for my appointment. I was able to watch the mechanic - went through a process, worked steady, used a torque wrench. They already had Priority's install price - didn't try to hard sell extras. Nice waiting room. Ample parking. Clean multi-bay shop. Brought my car to the front door, backed in. Total time hour and 15 minutes.

This is by far the worst experience that I have had at Pep Boys. This location does not uphold to their confirmed online appointments and take equipment to keep it as hostage until they hare ready for you! Called to speak to a manager and was on hold for 5 minutes just to be told that the manager was on a conference call. I will never return to this location again.

Service for oil change and replacing serpentine belt was pretty quick and simple. I was able to make an appointment online for the next day. When I arrived, I got help right away and they answered any questions I had. There was a complementary inspection they send you during your service. They don t push to do the recommended service unless you call them. The charges for the services were reasonable and they also had a 10% discount. Overall great experience.

I took in my car because the pan on the bottom was falling off and they fixed it for free and did an inspection on my vehicle for free as well! :) They were super friendly and explained things so I could understand. Thanks Dominic! :)

These guys are always helpful when I bring in my car with an issue. I feel like they ve been upfront and fair with their advice as my car is no longer in her prime. I feel confident that if I have to take my car in, if an issue can be resolved-it will be.

Arron made the visit all better. It took an hour and a half just to get a change oil service, even with an appointment. If not for the service quality of Arron, it would have been a terrible experience.

Crooks, went to get a tire repaired, said there was 2 screws, wouldn't show me the tire with the imaginary screw, crooks don't go there
