I dropped my car off for a wheel alignment. Tim (who was terrific to work with) said it would take about an hour or an hour and a half.And doing the work, they found some other issues, but resolved them in a timely manner. It did take a little longer than the hour and a half, but everything worked out very well, and I was very pleased

I d give zero stars if I could. They charged my wife $109 for $50 break pads. Also at $180 per in labor. Parts $260 labor $529 for a one hour job. Lady s be ware. This is my first post. That s how bad.

I just had my SUV serviced at the Midas location on Centre Dr In Lake Forest. D.I. (Store Manager) was the most helpful service professional I have dealt with. As soon as I entered the office D.I. and his assistant (receptonist at the front counter) both, immediately, acknowledged my presence. D.I. was very friendly and approachable which made the visit very comfortable easing the apprehension that can come with car repairs.He was quick to look at my vehicle and diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently.The service was seamless and the customer service was outstanding and its due to excellent communication service skills provided by key employees like D.I. Store Manager. I will be back again and will continue to recommend Midas to my friends.Thank you to all the great employees at Midas who go above and beyond in making the visit and service easy and great.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance

This Midas location treated me so great. The front desk attendant Deon walked me through and explained in details the issues I was encountering with my vehicle. And the mechanic Jose took care of the problem I had so quickly and correctly. It s interactions like these and people like Deon and Jose that keep people coming back to a location! Great and friendly job!

Came to this shop late on Saturday and they took care of me very quickly! Deon was thorough with the inspection and checked every last crevice of the vehicle. Made me feel very comfortable with my decision to purchase the vehicle because i knew everything i needed for the vehicle! Chris made sure we got in and out in a timely manner. I brought in my car for a coolant repair and did all the recommended repairs under their inspection. They recommend valve seal cover and front right axle. Took the car to work and the engine was smoking. By the time I made it to work, I popped the hood and the oil cap was half way closed, oil everywhere and my check engine light on. I called they said to bring it back. They fixed the issue. Now my engine squeaks when I accelerate. Two weeks later my complete transmission failed. Now I have a loan to pay back and my car is now has to has to be junked. I called Midas for a refund to pay back my loan they said they ll only give me a discount for a transmission.I went in for a coolant repair and now I have no car plus a loan. I wanted a good start for the year with a reliable car now I have no car because they messed it up.

The guy did want to rotate the tires because the tire thread was to low. The nubs between the threads have not been reached. He just wanted me to buy all four tires. Trying to upsale me. Not good business practice. If you are a woman, they will gladly upsale you with something you don't need yet.

Brakes feel great now! I'm pretty perticular with my cars and needed to find a place i can trust to work on a used Lexus CT hybrid i just got. Called around a few places which requires the Lexus hybrid to it to put into service mode for the service. I spoke with Daniel and he was very knowledgable and had the computer/tools to put my Lexus into service mode. Their prices were very resonable compared to the dealer and other OC shops and I went with a higher grade dot 4 instead of dot 3 fluid for a bit more. I waited for the service and they got me in and out quickly. Waiting area was clean and comfortable.Also brought my RX hybrid in the following week for oil/filter change, brake flush, and brake pads. Came here to replace brake pads and repair brake rotors. Midas did a good job inspecting and provided me options for the repair. I believe the price they quoted me was fair and finished the repair within 3 hours without appointment.

I have a classic car in need of oil change. Most locations refuse to deal with classics but Dion and his crew worked on my car and performed an oil change. The job was done in a timely manner. Reza the technician found a leak on the fuel filter as well and it will be remedied once they receive the part. Honest and reasonable place. Dion helped me out with a car alignment and also replaced a cracking belt for me. It was hard to find a place to align my car but I called and said he could fit me in his schedule the same day. He was really helpful and followed up the entire time.

Beware. I needed them to check out a high speed vibration issue. They drove it, said they couldn't feel it, charged me $55 dollars and sent me on my way. I get on the freeway to go home and my teeth are still chattering. I frequently make a 10 hour freeway trip in this car. I need help. I'm now having to find someone else to address the issue.Service: Tires

When I got to this location because I had a nail on my sidewall of my back tire I noticed that they had new owners and the place was pretty quiet there wasn't hardly anybody here so it was good timing! So they came out to assist me to see what was the issue with the tires and I told them that it just needed to swapped out with my spare and they took care of it quickly I was there no more than 15 minutes I would say It only cost me like $20 so overall they did a good job it took care of me so definitely a place to go to if you need tire service!

I went to Midas in Lake Forest CA for an oil change, great customer service & value! Dion helped me, was very friendly, helpful & had my car done in 30 minutes. Purchased an air filter the next day, went back to Midas to see if they would help me install it, Dion again helped me, installed it on the spot, again great customer service! I definitely recommend this Midas location!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I went in for an oil change, was greeted by a friendly staff, so I asked them to change all 4 shocks on the vehicle. Work was done within a day. After I took the car home, I noticed a clinking sound coming front driver wheel, I thought something was not screwed in tight, went back and they immediately checked the wheels and told me everything was tightly screwed. Surprisingly a month went by and I received a text from Daniel Chuy following up on the repair. I told him about the clinking sound and he asked me to bring the car in so they can take a closer look. Ended up they found a loose plastic piece that was making the clinking sound. They removed it and everything is perfect. I am extremely surprised at the follow up and immediately took action to resolve the issue.Service: Oil change

I am not from the area and was an hour from my destination last week when I got a lat tire on one of my run flats. I went to multiple tire shops in the area and no one had my specific tire in stock. America's Tire was a 3 1/2 hour wait time. I finally called Midas and spoke to Daniel about my situation. Daniel went above and beyond, had me pull into his shop while he drove to go buy and bring back the tire I needed. He had it istalled within 30 minutes and was able to getme back on the road. Not only did he service my car but he provided above andbeyond help. The day I went in his sop was fully busy, I couldn't believe that he took me in right away and still managed to go out to find and pick up a tire for me. He was a god sent that day. Needed to replace battery, as car was not able to turn on with current battery. Had AAA help me out and gave me a price for a new battery. Called Midas and Danny helped me with quickly getting a price. I went with the cheaper option at Midas. Danny got the job done with no issues, as I sat comfortably with a high-powered AC and ice cold water. Will be back when needed. Thx for the help!Service: Auto battery replacement

This guy, Dion, has restored my faith in mechanics and the idea of trusting someone else with my vehicle. He was fast, thorough, and found problems with my vehicle that my last mechanic didn't warn me about.More impressively, he did that as a one-man show - doing the admin in the office, and fixing 3+ cars in the shop himself. That means he isn't just good at what he does... it means quality is a habit for him.I will absolutely be using this place again.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
