First off shout out to Louie super friendly and helpful walking me through the process. They absolutely killed it with the paint which I had done 3 months ago in February. The paint has held up well so far and has been through a track day and daily driving. The only complaint I had is they didn't paint the door handles or license plate housing which comes stock from factory. So I would be really descriptive with what you want. Will probably be coming back if they paint individual parts!!Service: Painting

Finished job on my truck looks great. Some concerns though...1. Paint is much darker than it should be.2. Someone broke my tailgate handle and tried to cover it up by gluing it (badly).3. Job time estimate was 7 to 10 days: it took 16 days.Other than that, I'm pleased with how it turned out.Service: Painting

Went to see about having my wife's 12 year old car repainted. Patrick explained the various options. He also assured me that he could take care of a few minor bodywork issues the car had. He gave me a fair quote and told me it would take about 10 days to complete. The car came out looking better than I had hoped for, and it was completed in 7 days. I would definitely recommend these guys if you need a decent paint job. I'm planning on using them again when my own car needs a paint job. Also, the manager Patrick is easy to work with.

I am getting two vehicles painted. A 2003 Audi A4 and a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner. Waiting for the Audi but the Toyota came out very sweet! They matched the paint very close to the original. The paint job came out very beautiful, smooth and classy! Patrick at Lakeforest California location worked with me and coordinated the project. Great service!!!Service: Painting

They do great insurance work, but they paint classics too. Fantastic work on my Mustang, but unlike insurance work they missed deadline after deadline that they set. But I still highly recommend them. You just have to be patient on a classic. They did my Chrysler in 2 days and it came out awesome.

The front bumper and trunk lid on my MBZ SL 63 needed to be repaired/painted. Five day turnaround, perfect color match, no dust, orange peel or overspray all for a cost less than I expected.

This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Came in for an estimate on a busy afternoon. Patrick the manager, quickly gave me the fairest estimate and most convenient time frame. It was a no brainier to put our car in their capable hands and care. By the end of the repair (days not weeks) after dropping my girl off, it was like the heavens parted seeing her beautifully repaired! Patrick and his team definitely went above and beyond for our little red family car . I was so amazed and happy with the repair! I would definitely continue to sing their praises and recommend this shop to anyone out there. Thanks so so much Maaco of Lake Forest! You guys really hit it out of the ball park! First and foremost a big shout out to Louie for his exceptional customer service I had called about three other shops in Orange County trying to get a quote over the phone right off the bat their demeanor towards me was rude and the prices were ridiculous, for what I was asking. The way Louie treated me got me there to get a free estimate.I got like three different prices depending on the paint, body work etc. i chose what I felt was the best option and proceeded with the paint job a week later.I don t know who painted my truck. I wish I did so I could give him a shout out too. They did an exceptional job . It s a 97 Tahoe. It was in bad shape. Have had offers for me to sell it now, I m telling you the color match for the original paint was dead on. To whom ever painted my truck.Gracias! You got down like James brown.Service: Painting

Horrible!!!I'm gonna start with DON'T BELIEVE WHAT PATRICK TELLS YOU. MAKE SURE YOUR ESTIMATE HAS ALL DETAILS!Took my car in to have in painted and dent removals. Dropped and promised back on a dated day. Received back 3 days after promised date. When we picked up car the dents were not removed. Patrick stated that we would have to bring it back. We were pushed back several times due to dent guy was sick. Then Patrick said he would call another guy, pushed back again. Finally got it in for dent removal, Patrick then told us he wasn't going to remove all the dents. When I picked the car up, I don't think 1 dent was done after 3 days. Patrick insisted that he removed the main ones, but wanted us to know that he polished our headlights for free.Do not use this Macco!!We took our other car to the Marco in Laguna Nigel, much more professional, courteous, and delivered when promised.

I went to several body shops to get quotes and see how the repair would be done. Maaco was the only one that gave me an honest quote, a time frame off when it could be completed. Louis was great giving me all the info. The results of the body work and the paint was awesome. This was on a new 2021 F-350 so it was not easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing body and paint work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Saw many good reviews . Unfortunately mine is not . I dropped off my truck early last Wednesday morning . Louis seemed to be a the best to take care of me . Promised a Monday pick up , Tuesday the latest . It is a working truck so had to take a few days off . I removed all my boxes and even my truck bed liner to make it easier for my paint job . Had to return Friday afternoon to pick up a parking pass left in the truck . Only to find my truck had not been touched . Was told it s been crazy here ! Then told they would start on it Saturday morning . Went by Saturday at 2:00 . Truck still in same spot . Untouched . I asked for my keys and left , very unprofessional service . Never even got a call about a delay . Now told they could have it for me on Wednesday or Thursday !!!!! Got to get back work . Lost 3 days

I took my truck to re-paint due to age, and got excellent service from Patrick; he explained the process and once I got my truck back, I was shocked of the great job this team did!!! Louie Reyes is awesome to work with. He brings the old school philosophy of "Treating the customer right" back in style. He is very straightforward and honest. He does not "upsell" services you do not need, he actually looks out for his customer. What a breath of fresh air in this climate, Louie abides by the Golden rule. The paint job turned out pretty awesome to boot! Louie even fixed a ding I had overlooked free of charge, how's that for service! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOUIE AND HIS TEAM, THANK YOU!

The guys at this body shop were very friendly and knowledgeable and I have no complaints. The problem seems to be the current pricing of car paint jobs in general. Prices everywhere make it unaffordable to repaint an old car. Cost of painting is more than the value of the car.

With over 50 years of driving experience on cars that usually are driven for over 250k miles, I have been to the body shop a few times, including two color changes. I am an "experienced" customer, and I can say that I was completely thrilled with the work performed at this Maaco earlier this year.This was a complete color change, so there was tons of prep that had to be done. I dropped in a few times, and it was all meticulous. With a complete color change, there were some difficult places to paint. All if it was done perfectly. I was blown away.This was the best auto body experience ever, and I am writing this after I did the first wax job about a month after the paint job. Hand waxing the SUV gave me a good chance to look very closely at the work, with a smile at every turn.Hats off to Patrick and Jennifer. They make a great team, and delivered an exceptionally fine product that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Luis at Lake Forest Maaco was very professional and friendly. He called to keep me posted on the work through out the week. The whole car was painted and looks like new. The hood was very badly chipped and was repaired and now also looks like new. He also called and offered to take care of another problem with our car that needed attention. The pricing at Maaco is affordable and I would recommend Lake Forest Maaco.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Patrick was great! He explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions. Pricing was better than any I could get in the area for a full paint job. He also gaverecomendations on detail products. The paint came out great and matched the original so I was very happy. I have only had the car back for a few days, so can not speak to how the paint will wear, but I have a 5 yr warranty, so hopefully it will last!

Thank you Maaco and Hector!!!I was looking for a place to have my 1994 Dodge (Roadtrek) camper van painted. It had lots of chips, old striping decals, and a fiberglass roof. It was long overdue for a paintjob, and I was feeling very self conscious about how it looked. I checked around, and then I went to Maaco Lake Forest.Thanks to Maaco, my van now looks brand new! I' m proud of the way my van looks now. I'm very happy with the finished product, and very happy with the way I was treated along the way.If you need ANY vehicle painted, I highly recommend that you get over to MAACO LAKE FOREST and get the work done!!!Hector Loucel was personally responsible for the Awesome job on my van (Louie is good too).My experience with Hector showed me that he is courteous, experienced, knowledgeable, more than reasonable, detail oriented. .AND HONEST!!!...he really listens to you, and will "tell it like it is" ...and he might be retiring soon, so my advice would be to GET OVER THERE SOON!
