I have had a very good experience with Lake Forest Transmission. I came here to see Rob, the owner of Lake Forest Transmission because Tustin Toyota recommended repairs for transmission leak when I took my Avalon (51,100 miles) there for oil change. Rob asked if there was any sign of oil leak in my garage floor where my car was parked every night, and I said no. Rob then jacked up the car for inspection and he found absolutely no sign of transmission or any oil leak. Rob is super honest, friendly, explained everything and did not even charge me for the inspection, and had saved me hundreds of dollars. I do highly recommend Lake Forest Transmission to everyone in the Orange County area.

Rob is very honest, kind and has your best interests at heart. I am not sure what is wrong with my Titan, but it's not the transmission. Rob could have easily taken my money for something that is not wrong, but he didn't and spent the time helping me to try and diagnose the issue, twice! My friend brought his BMW here to have the transmission re-built, and he highly recommended their work.

Rob and his team replaced my drive axles on my 2009 Lexus ES350 within 2 hours at a really good price compared to nearby auto shops. I will definitely be back with any other axle or transmission issues.

I was driving from Portland to Cabo San Lucas when my transmission blew up on I-5. I managed to limp into Lake Forest Transmission late on a Friday afternoon. Rob was sympathetic to my situation and gave me a realistic estimate. He started work on my truck on Monday and was done by Thursday morning. Honestly, Rob could have taken advantage of me as I was a stranded traveler but he didn t. The final cost was on par with the estimate. Best of all, the transmission worked like a champ for the rest of the trip! Rob even called to check on me while I was on the road. Quality workmanship, value and integrity are all characteristics of Lake Forest Transmission. I highly recommend.Service: Transmission

Rob, the owner is a very honest about what repairs your car needs and his mechanics do excellent work. They fixed my Hyundai Elantra in a very timely manner for a good price. Rob even had my car washed to my surprise. Definitely worth going to for transmission and other mechanical work.

I went to this shop and met Rob , he is super nice and trustworthy person, he advised me to check my car in Toyota dealership because he checked the car computer and didn t see any transmission issues..He didn t charge me even one penny!I totally recommend him..

Rob is a car guy throughout. He gave me an honest assessment after driving the car and listening to my concerns. His price was fair and the car was completed on time. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

Went to LF Transmission a couple.months ago due to some concerns I had with my minivan shifting funny and being sluggish. Rob gave me alot of good tips and was a great help. It ended up being engine related and needed a new Catalytic Converter.Thank You for all the help. Definitely recommend this shop as they are honest and very knowledgeable.

Rob is Awesome! Honest and they do great work. Other shops said needed new transmission but just needed to be serviced. I would not use another transmission shop.
