The folks at Irvine Subaru were extremely efficient kind and pleasant to deal with. It was a very rainy day, and they offered to take us over to a nearby coffee house. Well, our service was being performed. They also offered to pick us up and bring us back to the dealership when we were completed with our breakfast I would highly recommend Irvine Subaru for any of your service or sales needs .Happy Subaru owners, Tim & Carolyn

We took our new car in because there was a chunk of metal in one tire and it turned out there were some other related issues. Clemente our service rep was amazing! We appreciate everything he did to help us. He is the best!!!

Two part review:1. The Service Specialist Tyler was awesome. (Five stars) His service was exemplary; genuine person, was timely with his responses, excellent in explaining my vehicle issues in laymen terms, and provided multiple solutions.2. Service Department Management Staff had below average service. (Three stars) The management staff was impossible to reach over the phone. I ended up having to visit in-person after trying to reach them for a week over the phone. When in person, my request was handled in a expedient and thorough manner.

We love our Irvine Subaru! We purchased an Outback with them and have been very pleased with the care we have recieved since. We are so happy we will purchasing a second for our daughters soon. Our service manager Sebastian is always kind and attentive. Our service representative Clemente is amazing! Truly a gentleman. I know I can always trust him to guide us in the best way possible. He is knowledgeable and patient. You can tell he is a family man and I can appreciate that. He also goes the extra mile to make us happy. Many thanks for having a great Subaru family! Jan Hebert

I had an appointment at 0715AM and arrived there at 0700AM. They just pulled me in and the rest was assured. I enjoyed coffee and snacks in the waiting room and turned on my laptop to keep up with my work. In less than one and a half hour my maintenance was over and they handed back the keys. Excellent service with excellent smiley people. Keep up with the good work Irvine Subaru...

I showed up for an oil change with my toddler in tow and was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and they have snacks and a play area to keep kids entertained. They also have a family bathroom which is helpful. My service was prompt and they even offered a free car wash (didn t get it since I keep my car pretty clean already).

Had a great experience! Sam in the Service Department is amazing! I have a 3rd party service contract and Sam worked with them to make sure that everything that should be covered was. I was so very grateful for all the time Sam spent working on this, especially when I saw my final cost. Thank you Sam!!!!

Sam was amazing! It was my first service so I wasn t sure how long it would take and it was a couple hours (on a slow day) I will probably arrange for a ride next time.

Bright my Subaru in to get a quote on a transmission fluid change and front and rear diff change. They wanted to charge me $700 and told me if I took it somewhere else and they messed it up it would void the warranty. I was able to speak to the service manager and he was able to knock it down to just the cost of the parts and I was very appreciative of that. Good dealership!

Got an early morning oil change appointment on short notice. The pleasant Service Advisor followed by snacks, fruits and coffee machine in the waiting area helped pass time quickly I was also pleased with their complimentary car wash.

Terrible! Did not rotate tires. Did not see excessive wear on all 4 tires inside tread! Did not suggest alignment! Took car elsewhere and had to have all tires replaced and all 4 alignment! This place sucks! Will NEVER GO BACK!

New battery drained out after 3 days sitting in my garage. I Called Irvine Subaru and brought in my Outback SUV around 9AM. I was greeted and impressed with friendly service advisor Rafael to listen and provide solutions to perform a draw test and replace a new battery. Great job and remarkable guest services.Services: Electrical repair, BatteryServices: Electrical repair, Battery

I've always trusted Frank's Subaru and their service dept. This is the first time I've ever experienced a concern: Went in for a routine oil change; then I was advised to replace ball joints, sway bar links, serpentine belt. For an estimated 2 hours of labor on my 2017 outback; I was charged $920 for labor or $460 per hour. That seemed extremely excessive for the time worked on my car and when I did a follow up conversation with the service mgr; I never got a return call as promised. Hoping this was just one of those bad/rare days. Be watchful of labor costs on your invoice.

I sent this to both the sales and service member, but did not receive a response. Posting here to share my experience:The first time I visited Irvine Subaru service, I was there for an oil change for my outback wilderness, and asked the technician to assess my rear shocks, as the car rear sagged excessively with even nominal loads (like passengers). When I picked the car up, I was told a car sags with weight . Obviously a car sags with weight. My issue was that the car sagged excessively with weight, enough so that it degraded the quality of the drive. I was looking for a solution or recommendations, not a condescending comment or an assessment of the obvious. Also during this service, I stressed the need for a 5 tire rotation, as the wilderness has a full size spare. At drop off, I was assured that I would get a 5 tire rotation. At pickup I discovered that the 5 tire rotation had not been performed and it didn t need to be done . I had to pull up the service manual online myself and show the tech that yes, a 5 tire rotation was necessary and recommended. Again, the minimum effort had been expended by the staff. The second time I used the service I was in for an electronics issue in my Forester Wilderness (the battery had died). The next day I was told 'maybe somebody left the trunk latch open but the car is now ready for pickup . I (again) informed the technician that I had already charged the battery fully twice, and I really didn t think this was the issue. He told me that I had probably not charged the battery correctly, but the car was ready now. Finally, after I explained that I had used 2 different chargers on 2 different nights, and neither charge held, he agreed to keep the car and re-assess. As I expected, the next day the battery was again dead, and the dealership replaced the battery. Again- the issue was that 1) I was treated like I was ignorant for not knowing how to charge a battery, and...2) it required so much effort to motivate the staff to perform an honest assessment. The third time I used the service shop, It was for my hitch, which ( I believe) was not installed correctly by the dealership. Before asking for service, I had already assessed the issue at home (I swapped identical bike racks to ensure this was an issue with the hitch-both racks were fine on other vehicles, but not on my outback. )The first tech informed me that, since the hitch was installed in PA, I would need to return to PA (nice try on blowing me off/ diverting the issue). The second tech informed me that the hitch looks fine to me . (Again nice attempt). The third tech said something to the effect of we don t make money off this sort of issue, you should probably call Subaru of America . He then went on to tell me that, if it was bent, it was probably because I had overloaded the hitch. (Nice try on blaming the customer, but I carry 4 bicycles that weigh less than 100lbs combined). Also...on drop off the tech said it looks fine to me .Again, as expected, the next day I was told that everything checked out normal . Well- it s not normal. Like I said before, the issue is not obvious without bikes loaded, but as soon as bikes are loaded, the issue is obvious. However, I am confident that, based on my previous experiences, the absolute minimum effort of trouble shooting was performed on this issue as well. The fact remains that the hitch is not aligned correctly.I want to correct one issue of record. To the employee who said we don t make money of these sorts of things . ..I have purchased 2 new Subaru s in the past 13 months. I will likely by 2 new Subaru s over the next 3 years. Put yourself in my shoes- would you buy a Subaru from this dealership, or return to your dealership for future service? Would you recommend this dealership for service or sales? So if you are reading this far, please understand that this is not a rant. You would feel the same way, if, in every issue you presented you were given some mixture of it s not broken , that s normal , it s probably your fault , or we don t care .

I completed the 30,000 mile service last week. Over the weekend I noticed there were oil leaks on my garage floor. I returned to Subaru on Monday, and the repair was an easy fix. I explained the situation about my garage floor, and immediately, Sam offered to send someone to my home to clean the garage floor. Really? I spoke with Sebastian that day, and he called me the next day to set up an appointment as well as gave me $100 towards my next service. Your dealership went over and above to remedy a situation. You are the best!!

Clemente in customer service is excellent. He was a problem solver w/ my head unit replacement. Even though I was past the warranty, he found a way to help me out. Highly recommend this dealership.

Normally Irvine Subaru is great. For this last service the staff seemed overwhelmed. There were only two people checking customers in/out while two others were at computers but not helping people. This was both for drop off and pickup of my car. There were four others in line with me. I was not greeted at the service drive-up so I just went inside to stand in line. I was not impressed. The person who checked me in seemed to not want to be there. It was not the norm for Frank s in my experience.Service: Auto maintenance

Clemente and crew get four stars. But l m puzzled : I brought the car in for service and inspection; including tire rotation on September 14.Yet we drove for a month (including a Thanksgiving trip to northern CA) with four brakes/rotors and a wheel bearing needing replacement. I was never told by the service advisor, nor did I receive a multipoint inspection form advising we do so. Thus two appointments instead of one.No stars for the September 14 service.

Is there anything higher than 5 Star?Buying or getting a car serviced is almost always stressful but not with these folks. The Farley Family makes you feel like you're part of their family. Great people Great service! What can I say, I Love Irvine Subaru!

I just purchased my 2021 Outback that I leased from Irvine Subaru and I was disappointed with the whole experience. I told them I was going to buy the car 30 days prior but I wanted maintenance on the same day and to repair some minor scratches that were under warranty. When I got there they were ready to take my money but there was no maintenance appointment. They scrambled to do this but the car was pretty dirty when I picked it up. And I was told since the original car warranty was over in a few days I wouldn't be able to get the minor scratches removed without some significant juggling. So overall I would say handling the buyback was very unprofessional. When I bought a BMW off lease they wouldn't let me take the car until it was totally checked out with a new one year warranty and fully detailed when I picked it up. BMW treated me like a new buyer whereas Frank's Irvine Subaru treated me like I was at a used car lot.

Sam was an amazing agent/representative of Irvine Subaru. She delivered ahead of time with the best service someone could ever receive from a dealership. I was expecting a two weeks work on my car, but she finished it within a week. Irvine Subaru should feel lucky having Sam working in its service and parts department.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repairServices: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Came in for a 30k service and mentioned the oil leak. They called me back with in a few hours and said they would need the car for at least two weeks. They finished the work with in two days.

Got a great 60,000 mile service with Clemente as my service advisor. They finished in good time. As always, a nice car wash included, too.

Customer service representatives are awesome. But I left there in tears because my car keeps kicking my cell phone out and I've had to reinstall the phone too many times. Has nothing to do with the awesome team of customer service representatives.
