I waited for tires to come on sale, and I purchased them online through Costco. Today (1/26/2024) I had an appointment to get them installed at lake Elsinore @ 10AM. The guy checking people in was very busy but he got us in timely. He told me it would be an hour and 15 minutes. And it was exactly 1 hour when he called me and told me it was completed. Overall experience was great. Highly recommend them. And I got to shop for a few items while I waited.

America's other tire chain told me I needed new tires a couple years ago which seemed too soon (as I bought tires from Costco only two years earlier). They would not rotate my tires so I went to Costco instead .Costco told me I was good for around a couple more years based on my driving history. Here I am two years later with a bolt in my tire so I bought new tires since it's pretty close to time after 4 rotations and 20,000 + miles driven.I appreciate the honesty and great deal.

I arrived early to an appointment on 8/24/22 at 11am to install new tires. They promised a phone call when work was done, but after waiting 2 hours I found the car in the parking lot and the invoice indicated that it had been finished 1 hour earlier. After driving a few miles, the car warned of one of the new tires severely underinflated by 12 psi, the others were overinflated by 5 psi (cold). Finally, one of the air caps was missing. Hope Costco takes notice and does something to improve.

So I went in to get some tires, I had to order them then they said they would call me when they arrived so I could make an appointment to have them installed. They called me 2 days later ,10 minutes before they closed, I tried to make an appointment but they said they were closing. So I went in the next when they opened. Before it was my turn the guy at the counter walked away to start flirting with another employee, I could hear everything just standing there and not being helped. He got to me I asked if my tires were in and if I could have them done, he should it would take 2.5 hr-3hrs. He ask if my number was the correct and would call me when it's finished. So 4.5 hours later no call, so I went to the parking lot to find the car to see if it was done. I found it then went to the counter to pick up the keys.when I arrived to the counter to ask for the keys and they said they are only doing appointments now, but I was just asking for the keys so could get my car. I only went to Costco to have my tires done but after this experience I weill reconsider. After receiving my car my tire pressure light went off , my front tires were supposed to be inflated to 30ps with +3 difference and rear with 35psi with 3+ difference, my front tire were a 39 and and42psi and my rear was at 48 and 50 psi . They over inflated them by more than 11psi on some of the tire which ruins the life span of the tire.

This is a review of Costco Automotive section, not the rest of the store.I can't say enough negative things about this Costco Automotive location. I brought my tire in to get a nail out, waited over two hours, got the tire back. One of the guys offered to jack up the car and quickly replace the spare since it was faster for them than me using just hand tools. I gladly agreed. Pulled my car near the shop, waited another 10 minutes to be told that they changed their mind. They can't do it since I didn't pay for it. What? You JUST OFFERED!I was so frustrated with staff and the time they took to fix the tire that I didn't check they actual tire. I found out at home that the small Honda hub cap was missing and instead of my nice metal cover for the valve stem they attached a bright green plastic one. Don't go there, people, or you will be robbed of your caps (maybe they have a thing for it???).

I purchased my tires here for my Silverado and went by this morning to ask if they repair since one has a nail in it and I have nitrogen. We went minutes before they opened and the worker couldn't even answer our question if that's a service they provide (repair) so I can either wait until they open or look for a tire shop that repairs. He was so rude as my husband asked, walked away leaving my husband talking and said "I'll help you when we open, I have to set up now and it can take 2 hrs if you don't have an appointment" he took longer to say that, rather than a simple "yes" or "no". It was very disappointing seeing this. Customer service goes a long way and this place proved that if you're not there to purchase, they don't care to help. We left and don't plan on purchasing future tires from here again.

Had my tires ordered a week in advanced. They told me that they would call me in about 2 days to let me know when they were going to be ready. They never called me and when I called, they said that someone had already called and had spoken to me. When I came in, they took about 2 hours to do the work when it does not take that long. Saw guys talking and not working multiple times. I know theat they're busy but with tools and 3 workers plus you can get stuff done a lot quicker

If you are buying tires for a trailer or tow vehicle do not buy at Costco. They do not warranty or repair these tires. The people here are good, their policy sucks. There was no notice when I bought these tires that they would not treat these trailer tires the same as their auto tires. I will never buy a tire from Costco again.

They are very busy put that iss because it is Costco people. They are always nice and friendly, they even helped me load my groceries when I pucked up my car.

So if they had a feature to give negative stars I would have chosen that feature. This place is a hot mess. Very unprofessional and rude.
