I just wanted to let everyone know that it is important to support our local mom and pop shops in our neighborhoods.I know the big box stores sometimes have the lowest prices on what you are looking for but not always. Just remember when you can talk to the owner directly about any issues you may have you know yr getting the best advice and knowledge and customer service available, something that is gravely lacking in our shopping experience these days.Canyon Battery is just one such place.Gabe has always been one of the most knowledgeable, helpful and friendly local small business owners I have ever dealt with.His many years of experience and knowledge can't be found at those auto chain stores.He has always helped me out with so many issues, from rebuilding alternators to getting great deals on batteries.He has even helped diagnose some of the issues I have had with my vehicle's.Gabe has even been known to suggest other local options if he was not able to help me.Be sure to check out Canyon Battery next time you need something.You won't regret it.And remember we need to keep supporting our family owned small business in the neighborhood if we want to continue building the relationships we have and trust in to meet our needs.Stop in and say hi whenever you get the chance.

Excellent Service. I went for a slightly used battery and he checked all my basic truck fluids for me just out of kindness! Highly recommended! He will also text if you prefer that over calling.

Sold me a bad battery, when we tried to take it back to exchange it for another, he just kept arguing that there was nothing wrong with the battery he sold us. It was point less to get him to try and understand.

Canyon Battery is by far the best service we've ever had for our truck! We have been taking our truck to Canyon Battery for 4 years and never disappoints. Gabriel (the owner and mechanic) can diagnose and fix vehicles' problems thoroughly and efficiently. Thank you for the wonderful services, Gabriel! The truck is 16-years-old but he always feels like new thanks to your service.I highly recommend Canyon Battery if you want your vehicle serviced by an honest, professional, and friendly mechanic!

The owner is so cool. I had an issue with a battery I bought so he wrote me a check. Then I got the check wet abd he paid me cash. Really nice people here. Great prices!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We purchased a battery here about 6 months ago. Well last week it started dying on us out of nowhere. We tried charging it over the weekend but it will not hold a charge. The only way to start it, is to jump start it every time. Once the car is turned off, the car will not restart without a jump.My husband gave this place a call and explained the situation. The man then said that he doesn't carry the brand of battery that we have. My husband then explained that the man had told us that day that normally he didn't carry that brand but happened to have an almost new one that he had just gotten in that day. This is exactly what the man had said to me when I had called the first time and spoken to him. The man then told my husband that he thinks he remembers him and to go ahead and bring it in for a replacement. We rushed, got the kids ready and picked my daughter up from school to get there as quickly as we could. When we arrived we were told that the boss was out and were asked to come back in 10 minutes. We drove down the street and went through a drive thru to kill some time as we couldn't turn the car off. We then returned. The owner came over, looked at the battery and said I didn't sell you that battery. That was the only place we went to and we have not replaced it since. My husband then tried reminding him of the situation. The man then became argumentative and yelled saying that he didn't sell us that battery. My children were scared and my 4 year old started to cry because this man had gotten into my husband's face. I then jumped into the conversation and reminded the man of the phone conversation that I had had with him regarding the battery. He continued to yell. My husband told him that we'd bring the receipt in and then he'd have to replace it. The man said that he didn't care if we brought in a receipt that he still will not replace the battery. My 11 year old daughter was with my husband when they went there the first time and she even remembers the man saying what he did and putting the battery in.This was very unprofessional and I feel like we were cheated out of over $100 on this battery that didn't last longer than 6 months. We should have listened to the few negative reviews on Google about the dishonesty. This was a very stressful and even scary situation. In the end, the owner made good money off of us, including the money we spent on gas and the time we wasted going back there just to be yelled at and called liars. This man does not honor his word. I have never been yelled at or treated this badly at any business in my life. The prices may seem good, but please be careful if you decide to go here. You could end up with a bad battery, end up being out of that money spent, or even worse, yelled at or treated disrespectfully in front of your children. I do not appreciate being called a liar. I have a solid memory and my daughter and husband both remember what was said as well. Save yourself future troubles and find another place. This man does not deserve your business.

Gabriel takes care of the vehicles I take to his shop for he knows his stuff and very good at what he does for it's hard to trust anybody putting hands on your vehicle but not with Gabe for he knows what he's doing.

Went there to buy a battery for a friend. I gave my friend the battery and he never payed me for it. So I got the battery and they let me return it and I was able to get my money back!
