Owner is very honest and helpful. Doesn t try to pressure or upsell you for parts your car doesn t need like most mechanic shops. I do my own oil changes and he fed me knowledge what oil is best for my car in California weather and how often I should do it. Truly cares what s best for your car and hospitality is great! Very welcoming, offers you water, soda, or coffee. Overall service and hospitality 10/10!

I recently faced an issue with my alternator.Upon calling, they graciously accommodated me for a diagnostic at arrival, and they promptly identified and resolved the problem. Their professionalism and humor made the experience awesome.Being newish to the area, they even offered valuable recommendations to ensure my vehicle is well-suited for the desert climate. It's great to find an auto repair shop that not only addresses immediate concerns but also provides helpful insights for ongoing maintenance.All Star Automotive has earned my trust and I'll be back for all of my future needs.P.S. Next time I'll leave the keys instead of going home with them.

This business is absolutely amazing! The nice gentlemen helped me out with a bad oil leak, he was very friendly. He fixed the leak and cleaned up the oil from the engine and i got it back looking new and shiny! He was extremely kind enough to drive me home instead of paying for an Uber while I dropped my car off. I Highly recommend going to this place it's the best mechanical service you'll find with great customer service and amazing results.

my fan on my 2006 tundra was loose and slapping so i took it here, and they were the nicest people io met and told me how much it would cost upfront. my truck is in good condition now. there even stayed after hourts because i was a walk in that was late. will come again for future problem

I ve taken my car here twice , both times I ve been content w the service and price. I do still have my check engine light on for code P0340 ( camshaft sensor) . I was told that the sensor was fine and my issue was my spark plugs. I got the plugs worked on instead, which helped my car run so much better, and they even steamed my engine for me.! Will bring my car back here , and I drive from Murrieta!

Everyone from the boss to the workers were kind, helpful, and quick. They helped me after hours when I was in a pinch and even cleaned my engine bay just out of kindness. I would highly recommend these guys! They'll be my shop from now on.

Daniel and his team are great. Very reliable and honest. I had a big repair on my car I had been delaying due to the price other places had quoted me, but Daniel explained every part of the repair and what it would cost ahead of time. Normally getting my car fixed is a headache but here it is very straightforward. Highly recommend. Went in for an oil change and it was done within an hour. We had a cheap sticker stuck on the windshield that I hadn't got around to and I brought it up just as conversation and they kindly removed it. It was such a small yet considerate gesture. The owner is extremely charismatic and customer service was excellent. They are also very pro-law enforcement and patriotic. Will definitely come back if I ever need anymore car maintenance/repair.

Brought my vehicle to Daniel to diagnose a small leak in my evap system. I specifically asked for a smoke test. Was told it would be cheaper for me to "diagnose the check engine light" (code P0456). Later that day he diagnosed a faulty leak detection pump. Says OEM brand would take a week and one day for aftermarket. I decided to take it home and replace this part myself, which I did and it did not fix the evap leak. I called Daniel back and spoke with a young lady, Melissa(?). Told her my situation and wanted Daniel to continue diagnosing the evap leak. I never got a call back. I took my vehicle somewhere else where they actually smoke tested it. It turned out to be a worn rubber fuel filler neck and clogged evap charcoal canister. Problem solved! Daniel and All Star Automotive do not know how to diagnose vehicle problems. If he truthfully did a smoke test he would have made the same diagnosis. Tried to get my money back through my credit card company and was denied, "service was rendered". This shop is incompetent and disgustedly dishonest.Service: Auto emissions testing

Unfortunately, while the shop seemed friendly and welcoming I did have a poor experience on the repairs side of things. I had an issue that was not resolved at all after two visits. The first visit was kinda expensive. The second visit they were seemingly kind and did not charge me for the work they said they did on a few components.However, once I was able to get the car to my regular mechanic he diagnosed the problem as something much simpler then All Star originally had and in the course of fixing it, had to replace some of the same components All Star said they had just serviced. My regular mechanic's repair was done in one short visit and it did completely resolve the problem.All Star had poor communication. Both times I dropped the car off and went home to wait for a call with the diagnosis. Both times I had to call back just before closing to get an update as I hadn't heard anything. Each of those times they did have the diagnosis ready but had neglected to contact me and if I hadn't called before they closed I would have had to wait an extra day.I've never left a negative review before but wanted to leave this one to give people a heads up that they might want to be careful to not be too trusting just because the shop is all friendly.A red flag I should have listened to- They quoted a price for me on my first visit over the phone and when I hesitated to consider it they instantly offered $50 off the price. I don't recall any other place offering a random discount like that and considering it later it seems underhanded as likely the first quote was overpriced.

I went to this place in December of 2022 with a blown head gasket and I was told it would cost $2,700 to get started on fixing it, not only was it not fixed, properly I had to take my car back repeatedly and had to rent a car each time my car was there, only to be told , they needed $3,500 dollars more to fix it. To make a long story short. It was one of the worst experiences ever with All Star automotive.Service: Air conditioning

Absolutely the best mechanic around!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! This is my mechanic for life! Every time that I have went to this mechanic they were fast, friendly and affordable!!! The 1st time they picked me up from my home when my vehicle was done and the 2nd time they provided me a very nice pen the same color as my shirt!!! This was a walk-in arrangement. Saw this place from the roadside showing it specializes in Engines and Transmissions. I needed my Mercedes Benz looked at because it was misfiring. Looking at the yard, different models of cars, including classics, were parked there for repairs. It felt safe to trust the workmanship and so glad I did. Daniel, the dedicated owner and his staff were simply wonderful and not greedy with the bill. They even offered a loaner or shuffle. Although I was made to pay upfront for the estimated cost, whatever costs beyond that, Daniel paid for at no charge to me as long as they were within what we agreed to be repaired. Fixed my car, washed and cleaned it and it now runs great. I am so thankful and would highly recommend to any car owner.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

All Star Automotive is excellent! I have taken my personal vehicle and company vehicles here for over three years. They are very competent, professional, and personable. Really, I cannot accurately express what this mechanic's shop has meant to my business. They have literally kept me running.As the owner of a service business, I can appreciate the struggle to always deliver a perfect service. The fact is, no one gives a perfect service 100% of the time. All Star Automotive has made mistakes, sure, but they make it right--plus some. I appreciate how difficult it is to produce a consistently high quality (though probably never quite perfect) level of service, and how well All Star Automotive does exactly that.You will NEVER find a perfect mechanic shop, but All Star Automotive is definitely a FANTASTIC shop.Reasonable people will never be disappointed here.

They re not called All-Star Automotive for nothing! Daniel was able to help me out even through he had a busy schedule. The parts that were needed took a day or two to get but understandable due to the things my car needed. Daniel also sent me progress pictures of the work being done and kept me on track to get my car out in a timely manner. Thanks Daniel, my car is running like new!Service: Engine repair

Had a bad clutch on my Scion FR-S. Dan and Mike where able to help me out and provide great customer service while doing so. I spoke to them and they were immediately able to quote out a price for the repair. Both made the process very easy and straight-forward.Once the repair was completed, Dan was able to show me the old parts and the extent of the damage on them. Explained why they didn't work anymore and what was actually going on when they were on the car. Very helpful service.

This was my first time at All Star Automotive and I am very pleased. Danny is very friendly, professional, efficient and a man of his word. He is not out to take advantage of you like I have experienced with most mechanics in the past. He truly just wants to fix your car and make sure you are satisfied in return. I have already recommended him to my family and I will be returning for any services that need to be done on both of my vehicles.

I stopped by this place by chance, I was stuck nearby and saw they had good reviews. Thank goodness I did!! They were able to help, diagnose and fix my problem so quickly!! Dan made great efforts to find me the lowest price without compromising quality, he helped me understand the issues and got my car done and running perfectly just as he said he would! The owner of All Star "Daniel" is Honest and Professional. I felt that he actually cared about me and my Jeep. My Jeep needed a major engine repair and the cost of the repair was fair and done in a reasonable amount of time. Daniel even helped me get a rental car next door at Enterprise. I will be going back for any Car repair service needs. Highly recommended.
