I had received 3 estimates and the other two did not follow-up. I find that follow-up is indicative of Follow-through. The process was painless and the work was done in the agreed time snd the results were of good quality

Back in October 2023 I became a victim of hit and run driver and brought my car for repair to this shop. I was given an estimate of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks for the job to be done.I was impatient and after 3 weeks I called to get the status of the work; was told by Alex that they need another 1 - 1 1/2 week.I was waiting to get a call from them to pick up my car, but that never happened, so I called again. This time I was told that they are waiting for "one last part", but they don't know how long that will take. Also, the Thanksgiving will affect the production. At this point, I had to return the rental car or pay out of pocket for it (My insurance covers 1 month rent).Then I called again, and again, and again... They bothered themselves to call just one time to let me know that they need another part and another week.Finaly, after almost 3 months, I got a text to pick up my car.I was there the same day 45 min before they are closing. Alex let me know that I'm only responsible for my deductible. After such a long and unpleasant experience with them, I expected to be offered some kind of compensation - did not happened. When I asked for it, I was told that only the Manager Libni Vivas can do that, but if I want to see him, I HAVE to go to the shop M-F 8am-4pm. I asked Alex to call him, but Mr. Vivas did not answer. Then I asked Alex to be emailed by Mr. Vivas - never happened.The bottom line is, I'm satisfied with their work, but completely dissatisfied with their customer service, the worst I have ever received.

This is long overdue since I am new to the world of reviews. I want you to be the judge of this. I brought in my mustang Dec 2021 and picked it up finally on June of 2022 for a complete paint job.1) If it hadn't been for me being pro active I would have never known the status of my car as a general rule they are pretty bad in keeping you upto date.2) When I picked up my car it had two blemishes on it and Mr. Alex took a jar of touch up paint and touched it up in front of me. (I was shocked and my jaw dropped that this was normal) I confronted Mr. Libni (Alex's manager) and this was his reply "The paint chips I felt seemed to be possible rock chips but we will apply touch up paint and try to get rid of them as best as we can". Which basically meant he is shifting the blame to me after having witnessed the touch up on sight. Still amazed.Bottom line there are many issues with this branch of Maaco and the sad part is even if they reached out to me to correct this situation it is impossible to get the bad taste out of my mouth or to set foot in that establishment and even look at Mr. Libni after all this time that has passed.

Alex at the front desk was always professional and polite. He would promptly inform me and keep me in the loop on the progress of my car. The team at MAACO did an amazing job on my hood. Decided to try this Maaco location to paint parts on my bosses limousine. The quote was half of what my usual guy wanted to charge me. Two other places wanted the same ridiculous amount. They did a pretty good job except there was an awful lot of paint overspray all over the entire car, windows, rims, headlights, etc. So I did have to get the entire limo clay barred to remove all the excess paint. They definitely need to tape up better. Buffing on parts that should've been protected. Also took a week and � longer than promised. Other than that I'll probably use them again. Maaco did a great job fixing the collision damages and repainting my Lexus two years ago. The paint still looks as good as new! My bumper was damaged when I was rear-ended recently and they worked with the meager amount that mercury insurance was willing to pay. My car looks amazing again! Thanks to all the estimators for being both kind and professional.

MAACO did a great job repainting our 2005 salsa red 4runner. There were minimal errors and overall we are satisfied and would recommend this location. We did opt for the most expensive option but the price was not unreasonable.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Maaco did a great job! I got quotes from 4 other body shops for painting my hood. All of them were over $1100! Maaco ended up doing mine for only $600. I drive a Mercedes and was nervous if they were going to be able to match the factory paint because that was every other shops excuse for charging so much. Nope, all good! The paint was an exact match. It sparkled just like new. Marty and the team there are top notch.If you are getting your car painted, then I highly recommend going to them!Service: Painting

Rust forming upon receipt, that's day 1, missing spray on the roof, missing my rear spoiler. Lots of tabs missing from inner wheel wells that I specifically paid (too much) for. Pictures speak for themselves. They had the car for a very long time.

The guy at the front desk is nice, but they messed up my weather sealing pretty bad and left some streaks of chemicals on my front and rear windshields that won't come off. The quality of the repair was lazy and borderline malicious.

Maaco in Laguna Niguel does great work. Alex provided an estimate and kept me updated concerning the body repairs to the van. One of the best experiences I ever had at an auto repair shop recently. Alex at the front desk was very professional and friendly and he is definitely an asset to the company. The team at Maaco did an amazing job on my bumper. I got 3 estimates and Maaco was the most reasonably priced estimate. Efficient, very professional. I was rear-ended while on holiday in US. They quickly assessed damage and what was needed to ensure my car was safe for the return drive from southern California back to near Toronto in Canada. Repair could be done quickly, within a couple days. Not inexpensive but body work is costly and the quick turnaround was essential. They also helped with best possible car rental deal for the day car was being repaired.

I brought my car here to fix some scuffs/scratches on the front and rear bumpers as well as fix the dent in my passenger door (ended up needing to get a new door).The guys there helped work out an estimate for me that is as cost friendly as possible, which I was super grateful for! The costumer service there is exceptional.I was told my car will be done in about 10 days and I think it took about 13 days total so I was super satisfied with the timing, it was quick/what I was expecting and they washed the car before I picked it up.My car looks so nice and new!!! It s also red which means it s hard to find the exact shade of red for my specific car, and they blended the new paint so nicely you can t even tell! It looks just like when I first bought it!!10/10 recommend!

I have gone to Macco quite a few times with different cars and every time the experience and quality of their work is amazing. Alex helped me each time as he helped me with body repair and window tinting. He was super kind and professional, was honest with pricing and timing, and did everything he could to help accommodate me! Recently, I had my windows tinted and the outcome was amazing! I've been restoring cars for 30 years and when it comes to paint, have used many different shops. This Maaco came under new ownership about a year ago and the new owner and crew are top notch. They did an outstanding job truing the body on my 73 FJ40, matched the paint color to perfection, and it looks incredible. On top of that, the price and original agreement never changed. The new owner Chris really does his best, takes care of his customers, and is a heck of a good guy. I worked with Alex a lot on this, and he's been nothing but great.Services: Body & Trim, Welding

Alex, the managing partner was absolutely amazing. His customer service was beyond five stars. He allowed me to drop off my car Sunday night when they were closed and made a special trip to check me in. Also, when I picked up my car it wasn t ready as they promised. Alex seeing I desperately needed my car said he would take care of it, ordered me a rental car for the day and used his own personal credit card to pay. My car was fixed perfectly when I got it back too! Thank you Alex for serving me and making sure I was taken care of above and beyond.Service: Painting

I had my 2012 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid refreshed at Maaco Laguna Niguel CA last week. It is black in color, which is really hard to match. I am so pleased with their paintwork, the cleanliness, professionalism, and accuracy and fairness of the quoted price compared to the final invoice. Alex was great to work with.They sanded and repainted the hood, the side, and the rear window trim, removed scratches and dents, and then detailed the vehicle. It looks showroom new. I would highly recommend the new owners that took over this Maaco last year.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Did an amazing job. Very proffessional and helpful. Competed the job prior to scheduled delivery date and went above and beyond. I had a HORRIBLE experience at Lake Forest Maaco' and brought my 2nd car to Laguna Nigel MAACO. This was a better choice to come here, will be back for future business here!

These guys are absolutely amazing. 15 year old paint, they fixed and painted a whole panel, and YOU CANNOT TELL!!! It's a PERFECT match. And for a fraction of the quotes I got from the "high end" paint & collision places that like to belittle a Maaco paint job. This is my second car worked on by them, and I have a appointment for my third in January, so YES I would recommend them!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I got my 2000 Toyota Tundra painted with the two coat system with excellent results.Daniel and the guys provided excellent service and answered all of my questions. They even removed some dents from the tailgate at no extra charge.The truck looks brand new! I am very happy with the results, and the value/price of the Macao paint job is great.5 year warranty and I m good to go.I recommend this shop without hesitation.

Having some concerns over some more negative reviews, I spoke with the new manager. I went over my expectations. I left my 15 year old Honda CR-V for a new paint job. Left it on Monday, it was finished Wednesday. Upon picking it up, the car was clean, tires oiled, and paint looked great!Good effort was made to complete the job on time, and please the customer.The pricing was fair & management provided great service!

They saved my car and saved me a lot of money. The owner, Daniel, is very knowledgeable and no-nonsense. He worked with me to get the price down, even letting me source the parts. The repair was done right and my car looks new again. The paint matched perfectly and was better than the factory paint. It certainly wasn't something that will blow of in the wind like Earl Scheib. For those of us where insurance wants to salvage the vehicle, Maaco lets us keep them with quality repairs at a very reasonable price.
