Great place with friendly staff. They are honest and have told me multiple times my car didn't need repairs I was expecting, or a cheaper options are available. Super easy drop off and pickup with the 24 hr gas station attached. You can come literally anytime to drop or pick up your car.

I have put on 2 reviews in my 30 plus years in Laguna Niguel and I find this worthy of one . I am a senior driving a 2010 Lexus sedan . My battery light comes on and I drop by Chevron and speak to Alan Hood service manager He s worked on my car for simple things without any incidence maybe 3x . He uses a diagnostic computer and says see the screen you need a new battery . I say how much he says $6000 plus labor and I said not worth it and he solicits me and says I will offer you $2000 for the car right now . So I guess and this is just a guess, but in his mind, he put a value on my car. I said no and left . I didn t know there s an aftermarket for batteries of hybrids. I got one with a lifetime warranty for $2500 . I call Alan and tell him and he says we can t sell you that because we can t warranty it. So I guess he would just get one and buy my car for $2000 and sell it for $12-$14,000 . In my disgust with this reprehensible behavior to churn me out of my car so he can capitalize I get in touch with Mike maybe the owner he wouldn t say when I asked but says I have worked with Alan for 30 years so I guess that excuses him because He never apologized for the mistreatment .Be very leery if you take your car to that station for anything. I know I won t ever again

I've been coming here for about 20 years. Less than the dealers, a bit more than others. The important this is honesty and the job is done right the 1st time. All Master mechanics.

The shop owner here offers excellent work at a reasonable price. Drop your car off the night before. Saves time for both you and he. Use water and air station with caution. Twice I have gotten a good jolt due to electrical problems there. Definitely felt a little singed.

They tried to force me to replace my roters after 16,000 miles for $652. When I pointed out we both knew I d only driven 16,000 miles and asked what was wrong with the roters, I was told they didn t need replacement but the $652 quote didn t change. I bought brakes and had my dad (former mechanic) install them instead. Bad practices

Spoke to some guy named Allen on the phone regarding needing a smog service. Told him my problem, something to do with O2 sensor readiness monitors not being ready so it kept failing smog. He said drive the vehicle to Oceanside and keep your vehicle under 60mph and it should fix it. Damn if he wasn't right! Thanks Allen for the free advice. It passed smog!!

I informed the cashier that the rain caused condensation on the screen on pump 1 so it was unreadable, so I suggested a sign be posted somewhere so people will know what prompt to follow so they don t need to run inside during the rain. She began to become argumentative with me, asking me where would she put it, I told her next to the screen in a dry area, then she told me how is she supposed to know what the prompts are etc. I reminded her it was only a suggestion and no need to be rude about it, and she ignored that and did not even apologize to me for the horrible interaction. Not a positive experience to say the least.

Rear light bulbs replacement and wiring service done. Dropped my car off before 7AM, they finished around 9AM. It was a bit pricey but not that expensive. They did the job correctly. I am glad and satisfied. They fixed the problem that Pepboys couldn t.

Simple and easy... went in because my 2011 Mercedes was making a noise... at first glance I thought, I don't know, but I had twice seen magic Johnson there getting simple maintenance and figured he's a smart business man so let me give it a try. Plus I didn't want to drop off at the dealership and have them recommend a bunch of nonsense I don't need and be without my car for two days.... so I get there and immediately a pleasant man named Alan grated me as I pulled up and noticed the sound. He wrote me up a ticket and and said you can wait or I can have a guy named Jesse give a ride home or wherever you need to be. He estimated two hours because he felt confident the mechanic knew what the issue was so I waited since there was plenty of food options around.Needless to say, I saw mechanics start working on my car right away. As I watched one of the guys called "e-shaq" or at least that's how I think his name is came over and started talking to me on preventive maintenance and how to keep the issue from happening again... not once did he try up selling me... then Damon printed out a few other simple transmission tips, which is probably the reason why he was on the computer so much... finally my mechanic Jeff came over showed/talked to me what was wrong, said his wife had the same issue with her car and that he knew everything about German engineered cars and by the service he showed I believed it. I definitely recommend Jeff for everything. I thanked everyone for their help and courtesy and went to pay... it gets better as I was paying Alan, another guy working found a coupon and Alan happily gave me the discount! Needless to say I've been bringing all my cars back since for everything...

I hate writing bad reviews, but I wouldn't want anyone else to suffer the way my fiance and I did! This was one of the most unprofessional places I've ever been. The guy doing the testing sat there and free revved my engine way more than was necessary several times. Sadly for him I have a video I'll be posting later online. They way overcharged, and were rude to me and everyone else they talked to. I would recommend not letting these guys anywhere near your car unless you want it back damaged!

Great staff, especially the Manager! Love her! They also have E85 Flex Fuel which is hard to come by in South OC.. It's only two bucks a gal.

Garbage card slot gets my card stuck and doesn't recognize as inserted for over a minute. Cannot pull it out until then too

They work so fast and its the best price I've seen in Laguna Niguel in a while, plus they have an awesome coupon right now and it saved me like 30 bucks. That may not seem like much but when your money is as tight as mine 30 is just as amazing as 100 lol

Went for a smog check and Alan told me they were only doing appointments. There was no one waiting and no car in the smog checking station. Do not go here.

DO NOT TALE YOUR CAR HERE FOR MECHANIC WORK. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND NOT ONLY THAT, THEY LIE ABOUT WHAT PARTS THEY USE.THEY GOT ME FOR $3000.00.CAR WAS STILL NOT FIXED CORRECTLY.HAD TO TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT MECHANIC TO FIX THE ACTUAL PROBLEM.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible experience with coolant issues. Place quoted me ridiculously compared to other local shops. DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT COME HERE!
