Amazing service. Ken did a great job fixing my car and got it done in only a few days. He also saved me a couple hundred dollars and did his best to repair a car part.. I m truly grateful. I would highly recommend Ken to everyone!!

My 2004 Prius developed an annoying problem of Not turning off when I needed it to! From the first time that I met with Ken, it was clear that when it comes to knowing in detail, each generation of Prius, he is an expert in this field!Because Ken does the ordering of parts and the repairs himself, he was very accurate as far as what the cost would be, and in estimating how long the work would take.I feel confident with the work that he did, and will definitely go to Ken s Prius Repair Shop in the future.

Ken is a very hard working and honest business owner. I ve had two Priuses that he has maintained for me since 2011. I continue to bring my current Prius to him as his work is of great quality and more affordable than a Toyota dealer. Bring your hybrid to Ken!

Service was engine replacement on my 2013 Prius Hybrid. This was due to broken head gasket. Ken recommended the re-furbish motor installation rather replacing the head gasket on the current motor. I am satisfied with his service, work and the competitive pricing as the car drives like a charm and like new new.

I Google searched for a top notch Prius mechanic who can take care of my 2010 Prius IV. I bought it 3 months ago from a Toyota dealer with only 85K. So I drove 51 miles and met with Ken. He was honest and very knowledgeable and best of all reasonable. He changed the oil and the PCV valve and gave me a maintenance schedule to follow. Thank you all who wrote awesome reviews about Ken. My commute was so worth it and looking forward for my future maintenance with the Prius Guru.

This garage and Ken are awesome. I felt extremely well taken care of. Ken spent time physically showing me the most common ways that Prius engines fail and how to avoid those failures.If you have a Prius you owe it to your car to have it serviced here. It was also an amazing value!

I discovered this place because of all the positive reviews (so all you people out there, never think that your reviews don't make a difference because they really do!). Those reviews are well deserved. This is a place that does its business with honesty and integrity. Ken is awesome and he has been very helpful with walking me through the overall inspection for a used Prius that I just bought. My wife and I took our 2007 Prius over to Ken at Caspian Motors after reading great reviews about his business. We were about ready to give up on the Prius and get rid of it. Ken is a great mechanic and also a very honest one. He did a lot of great repair work on it for a very good price and saved our car! I HIGHLY recommend if you need car repairs, definitely go see Ken. He's got our business from now on!

Ken is factory trained and is an expert on the Toyota hybrids. He walked me through the problem I was experiencing and totally explained the repair he was going to perform. Ken also explained to me the costs involved and presented me with options so I could make informed decisions. Ken s only concern was to make sure the repairs would be done correctly and that I was totally satisfied with the service. After taking my 2007 Prius to the Toyota dealership and being quoted an extremely high price for the repair, I thought that my Prius was totaled. However, after looking online we found Ken and decided to take a chance. He ended up being able to fix it for half the price and a better warranty. He finished on time and even did more work to the car for free. Ken was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be taking my car there for future repairs. I would highly recommend this place!

My daughter, Brittany, recommended Ken as a mechanic for my 2009 Toyota Prius. I brought my car into to him for regular maintenance at 140,000 miles. Ken gave me a call a few hours later letting me know there were several things wrong with the car and quite pricey problems. He told me to bring my car to the Toyota dealer and they should still have it under warranty. Yep, 15 year or 150,000 miles and the catalytic converter was repaired with one other item for free!!!! $2000 of repairs Ken could have easily charged me.. I would have never guessed a warranty would still be in effect on my car. Today my car is back with Ken, the man I trust because of his complete honesty with me, getting the other maintenance items repaired. I will recommend Ken and his shop in Laguna Hills to all my daughters, their husbands and all my friends and family!! I have never met a mechanic so honest, fair and knowledgeable. Thank you, Ken!! We will be back!!

Ken is a knowledgeable solution oriented mechanic with pricing and service far better than the dealer. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an expert to work on their Prius.I brought my 11 year old Gen 2 Prius to him because the battery appeared to have degraded significantly. It was like driving an ICE powered vehicle that also had to constantly charge a useless battery.Ken ran some tests, shared the results with me, and provided a few options. We decided a replacement made sense. The car was ready exactly when he promised with a brand new battery.My Prius is a hybrid again. The new battery is operating great. Gas mileage is back up to reasonable levels. Ken also provided additional suggestions on how to get the most out of the Prius.Working with an experienced, honest, and engineer minded mechanic like Ken is invaluable. You rock Ken, thank you!

I prefer an independent shop over the Dealer and this place did not disappoint. Very knowledgeable and professional. Ken walked me through the problem and likely solutions. After years of going to the dealership for years to maintain my 2010 Prius, I ve finally decided to go to other individual auto shop for my regular maintenance. The reasons are the dealership always over charge you or try to up sell non-essential services to you. Having little knowledge of cars, I always went for whatever they recommended even though I knew in my heart that they over charged me for the services.Anyway, I found Caspian through Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Ken, the owner, was very helpful and professional. He gave me a lot of tips on what to do to make my car more fuel efficient. One time I called him up to see if he could help me to put on some venting tube in my battery compartment. He told me to drop by and he did it for no cost.I ve given him my maintenance record from the dealership and from now on, whenever the maintenance required message pops up on the screen, I m going to him for the regular maintenance.He is professional and an expert in Prius. Friendly and sincere. I m glad to find him for my Prius!

Ken has a small shop that does great work at reasonable prices. He is punctual, does repairs quickly, and takes the time to explain the work needed and why. You won't go wrong taking your car here for repair, as I took my 2006 Prius in and was very happy with his work! Very honest, and as others have said, doesn't try to push additional services on you. A very down to earth guy! Very refreshing!

Searching the web for a reliable and affordable mechanic close-by, I found Ken at Caspian Motors and am very glad I did. Calling right away, I explained what work needed to be done on my 2008 Prius and Ken quoted me his prices, and they were great! The job was done in half a day and got my car back running great! Highly recommend; definitely returning for future services. Thanks Ken!

I had Ken rebuild the engine on my 2010 Prius and he was always very upfront and professional with regard to his recommendations and the cost. Expertise and hounesty at highest level. I have several visit to this place ,mostly no charge and lots of information and insight about how hybrid system works. Ken really knows these cars. Not all mechanics can say that about Prius. Ken replaced my battery. He also replaced my engine after other mechanics led me down the wrong road and incorrectly diagnosed a problem and ruined my engine. I've seen the light! I have had my car (2007 Prius) serviced by Ken 3 times and each time I've been totally satisfied. I have 253,000 miles on the car and as long as Ken's around I have no plans on replacing it. He is honest, fair and a terrific mechanic. I highly recommend him. 5 stars for sure.

I stumbled on this repair shop when I blew a head gasket in my 3rd Gen Prius. Since this is a common occurrence, Toyota actually addressed the situation in the 4th Gen cars. Ken's in-depth knowledge and expertise made it possible to fix the problem as Toyota did! I can't say enough, he is trustworthy and I will not take my car anywhere else (even though I had to ship it from Chicago)!! What really makes this shop stand out from any others I've ever had to deal with is the amount of care and explanation Ken puts into his work. Ken has repaired my a/c, did my brakes, does my oil changes, and everything done timely, doesn't charge an arm OR a leg! I just love this guy. He's always available to explain everything, too. I highly recommend anybody with a foreign car to use this guy. My Prius is a little older and Ken is going to keep it going until it is MUCH older.

Ken changed my brake actuator, 4 brake pads, flushed brake fluid and changed my oil. He did all of this promptly and charged significantly less than the Toyota dealership even though he used brand OEM Toyota parts. Ken is one of those rare mechanics that surprise you with their knowledge and expertise. I found this out after having a lengthy conversation with him when diagnosing the issues with my car and getting into prius specific technicalities. Second time I took my beloved 2005 Prius (over 135K miles) to Ken for maintenance work (drive belt replacement). He finished the job very efficiently and proficiently. My car's MPG seems to have improved quite a bit after this maintenance work. Ken also did a great job with replacing my coolant flow control valve in an earlier service due to the check engine trouble code P1121. Ken definitely took great care of my Prius through and through. Will be seeking his expertise again for future maintenance work.

After years of BMW's and Mercedes as well as Toyota and Lexus, I have never had more personal and professional care than I received from Ken. Fair! Upfront and honest! Delivered on time and far less costly than any dealer or other shops I have been to. I have experienced everything you can imagine and that's after over 30 cars in my lifetime and more than 2 million miles accumulative. Ken is the BEST!!!!

Ken saved me and my 2005 Prius. I was fortunate to find him after my hybrid battery was failing. Ken was very straight forward with me and takes a lot of pride in his work. 2005 Prius- 159,000 milesWhile parallel parking last week, I kissed the curb with my passenger s side rear bumper. It dislodged several supportive clips, showing about two inches of clear space on one side. I shook my head as the bumper was still attached but looking for a railroad track to tear it off.I called Ken at the Prius Repair Shop for advice. He asked several questions to make sure the car was drivable and the bumper wasn t dragging the ground. He then asked me to bring it in the following day. I did, and he called back after lunch and said it was ready. Ken reattached the bumper with new clips and said, "no charge" as it only took several minutes to fix.For the last two years I ve had Ken perform regular oil and filter changes, a tune-up, and replace the inverter and water pump. Ken is honest, understands the complex Prius Hybrid system, and does what he say he will do.
