5 Stars for sure! Cant even describe how much this man has saved us. After a failed programing, the CAS module "bricked", dealer wanted over 3k to replace the CAS module and program. Bimmerscan was able to recode the CAS module and footwell module that the dealer said was impossible. Thank you again!!!!!

Bryce helped us out with with replacement transmission coding on a BMW. Quick response and turn around, had it down within a day between placing an online order and finishing programming. Very professional, could not recommend him enough!

Bryce helped me out with my 2012 Mini Cooper problem. I was quoted between $450 and $1200 by a few mechanic shops and the dealer. Bryce fixed my FRM module within 15 minutes and it only cost me $150. Highly recommend Bryce and his expertise! Thank you very much Bryce!

Bimmerscan is wonderful! Words can't express how pleased I am! I thought I was going to have to pay close to $2,000 to fix my mini cooper footwell module. I found them by luck and I'm more than thankful I did! They are truly a blessing. I had my car back to normal in less than a week! Amazing company and anyone with a mini cooper or BMW I'd highly recommend them.

Bryce is the real deal, fast and straight to business. Dealer quoted me $4,000 to replace my CAS and key fobs. Bryce reprogrammed my CAS and fobs for a fraction of the price. Had my car up and running in exactly a week.

Fantastic service for Mini owners! Bimmerscan quickly reset my footwell module and had me back up and running in no time. Great communication and website. I mailed in my module. Thank you so much!

They've got a 5 star rating on Google and it's very well deserved. I'm a car guy on the other side of the country from Bimmerscan. The footwell module in my BMW died (thanks BMW....sigh). I reached out to Bimmerscan and they responded immediately. I shipped it to them and in just one day from receipt they had it boxed up and on its' way back to me. It plugged right back into my car and I was off and running again. Thanks so much for the super prompt service and saving me a ton of money!!! I know plenty of BMW people in the "car circles" I socialize with, I will be sure to pass your info along.Service: Electrical repair

I had Bimmerscan reprogram the footwell module on my 2011 Mini Cooper. This is a very common issue and not many places have the ability to perform this procedure, even dealers. A new module is over $600. The cost to reprogram with Bimmerscan when I had it done was around $160 including return shipping. When I got the module back, all I had to do was plug it in and clear the codes from the other modules. It worked perfectly! Thanks Bimmerscan!!!Service: Electrical repair

I purchased a 2011 Mini Cooper from a private seller, then took it to the Mini dealership. The FRM "suddenly crashed" and they were going to charge me a minimum of $1100 for it (among other things they did/missed/omitted). I found this business on a Google search and decided to give it a shot since I'm in San Diego. Bryce called me as soon as he received my FRM and he repaired it the same day and sent it back out. When I first put it back in, the windows and locks didn't work. I reached out to Bryce again and he assured me everything was good to go and the connectors probably weren't seated correctly. User error, I'm a newbie to Mini. Once the connectors locked themselves into place, everything was functioning properly. I can't express how relieved I was to have found this business. Best part is, Lifetime Warranty. Hopefully I won't have to send in my FRM too often, but they definitely have my business for life.Service: Electrical

Brought a clients e60 530i in for a diagnostic scan regarding a reset for the adaptive headlight module several months back, Bryce corrected the issue within minutes. This review is long overdue, if you have a BMW that requires any form of advanced diagnosis this is the BEST Independent shop to do so in ALL of Southern California, speaking from over a decade of personal experience in the industry as a shop owner myself. I will be bringing in my personal vehicle shortly to have Bryce and his team take a look at my non-functioning iDrive button (e70 x5m) as soon as possible! Thank you Bryce for providing your expertise in a prompt and professional manner.

I have a BMW that I was absolutely at my wit's end with. It needed a new DME module and my local BMW dealership wanted over $2,000 for the module and couldn't guarantee that it would fix my problem. I found Bimmerscan on a forum and am so glad that I came across their site. Bryce was more than happy to help me find a new module that would work for my vehicle and programmed it quickly. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had and even helped troubleshoot the car after he sent the new module. If I ever have any problems with a BMW module again I can guarantee he will be the first person I call.

I sent in a faulty footwell module from a 2011 mini cooper. They repaired my faulty unit and returned it to me in less than a week (I'm sure they can do it faster o sent it out the day before a postal holiday). It cost $150 for the repair and $10 for shipping.Saved me hundreds of dollars, and the car works better than new.Awesome service.Service: Electrical repair

6 stars is what Bimmerscan deserves.Bryce was phenomenal in getting my DME, CAS and keys cloned when my bimmer died at high highway speeds. the DME became non functional and would overheat shutting off igntion, injection, valvetronic, or fuel pump. With a replacement DME, CAS and keys all mapped, everything was right as rain and things have been working great for months. The process and interactions with Bryce were absolutely perfect. Other shops this is the bar that should be met, and only a tiny few even come close to this level of expertise and ability to execute.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

Contacted Bimmerscan after my MSD80 went on the fritz in my heavily modified early model e92. After replacing the injector drivers I had no source going to injector 3. Reached out to bimmerscan and Bryce was able to clone my DME to an MSD81 and got it back to me crazy fast while also resolving just about every gremlin I ve had since owning this car in 2017. If I could rate more than five stars I would. My car drives the best it has ever driven. Shoutout to Bryce and the Bimmerscan team for an unbelievable service.Cheers,ChaseService: Electrical repair

Awesome awesome awesome place. My bmw computer (ECU,ECM) was fried. I bought a new one sent both to Bryce at bimmerscan and wow is this guy fast. The day he got it he completed the work needed to be done to mate the new ECU to my car keys and Cass and it would have been sent back to me in the same day but it was a Saturday. He sent it out first thing mon and here it is Weds and I have my ECU. He gave me multiple ways to pay him, he was very friendly, and gave me very good customer service. Talked to me respectfully explained everything to me what I needed to do and answered all my questions. Great guy and business to deal with I would highly highly recommend you use bimmerscan I'm glad I found them that's for sure. Thanks again bimmerscan/Bryce I will def be using you guys in the future. I just wish I lived closer and I would bring my cars to you for everything that needs fixed.

Bryce was extremely helpful in guiding me through what was needed, was super friendly and saved me a good amount of $ by telling me where to get the part, after all that the service was prompt and the process was smooth. Really love when people take pride in what they do and don't become stuck up. Everyone needs to be more like Bryce, thank you man!

I drive a 2009 135i. I began having some weird electrical problems with the radio. Having heard of Bimmerscan before, I already knew that I was going to take it there. I had heard nothing but great things about Bryce. Bryce did a quick diagnostics test, and within minutes had an answer for me. It was a simple fix and Bryce charged me an extremely reasonable price. I will recommend him to ANY BMW owner who is having any electrical issues on their car. Bryce truly takes care of his customers. I am very thankful to have a person like him in our local community.

These guys are great! I was at the point where sending this barely running 335i to the dealer was looking like it was the only option. Bryce was able to work his magic on the failed DME and the car now runs great. Way... beyond what most repair shops are capable of handling. Top notch BMW experts.

Bryce was awesome. His work is outstanding and goes above and beyond to make sure your good to go. He fixed my FRM3R and updated it to the latest software as well as tested it before letting me leave with it to ensure everything was working properly. Thanks again Bryce I will definitely be coming back in the near future. I definitely recommend Bimmerscan to everyone.

These guys (or guy) did an excellent job. Had an issue with a 2012 Mini Cooper and part of the "Brain" a few months back. They knew right what to do, helped me with info on how to remove the part. We had a small issue with the fix (something he was upfront with me from the start) he fixed it for the agreed upon price and stood behind his work 100%. I would recommend him to anyoneServices: Electrical repair, Electrical

Go to Bryce for all your BMW diagnostic needs! My 2011 128i had some electrical issues, causing the radio not to work and the speedometer, RPM, and gas gauge to suddenly drop and rise while driving. After a quick diagnostic test, he determined I needed a new battery and my entertainment computer system had to be recoded. Within a day, all my electrical problems were fixed at a very reasonable price!

A little skeptical at first and the email back an forth was a little relaxed, but they were quick to fix my car access system as soon as they received it and sent it back the next day. Quick to respond to my emails. Saved $1200 from having to go to a local "certified" dealership by sending it to Bimmerscan. THANK YOU!!!

I have been having intermittent no start condition since acquiring the car two years ago. It is a 96 BMW 318ti with a S52 (M3) motor. The swap was done by the previous owner in Virginia and I bought it for my occasional use as a track car. I had been unable to diagnose the problem and was talking to Bryce at BimmerScan about it. He took the time to scan the electrical system and determined that the ground strap was bad. We replaced the cable and re-tested and found that was the appropriate fix. I was going to swap the battery to see if that was the problem, then wonder if the alternator was bad and then,... BimmerScan solved the problem without my throwing money and parts at it hoping to find a fix. Gas mileage has improved, performance is much better and it Starts every time now. Thanks Bryce @BimmerScan.

Dear god! Bimmerscan did the impossible with my car. Just when I had given up hope and tried countless resources they came through! Clearly on another level of diagnostics and programming! If you've got an impossible issue I recommend Bimmerscan! They just made a lifetime customer and friend! Highly recommend! Especially for the enthusiast that is picky about stuff!

These people are awesome. They repaired my footwell sensor and made sure my part got to me even after I messed up the address. They communicate and don't leave you wondering. I would highly recommend them for anything you need. Great company!

I cant say enough about bryce/bimmerscan. this guy is THE MAN! i first went to him with my e38. This car was bought new in 2001 and i only have 65k miles on it but the dash was always lit up like a Christmas tree! since day one this car had electrical issues and every time the dealership said they fixed it, the same issue would pop up... in one hour bryce diagnosed the problem and fixed it!! not one issue since!THEN, i took my 2014 (f31) 328ix sport wagon, now this was the cool stuff... he had all these special codes to do some really trick stuff to the electronics like using the key fob to close my rear hatch, roll up my windows and sunroof, as well as fold my mirrors when i lock the car. all my phone contacts in my heads up display ... i mean he had like 10 pages of stuff he could do but i just didnt have the time that day, but i will be going back for sure! needless to say i would absolutely recommend him to anyone.... cool guy, very laid back and not pretentious whatsoever.
