I have been coming to Jim for the past decade for many reasons. He is always open and honest about everything, has great prices and is very fair with quotes and estimates, and is a very friendly person in general.

I have been coming to Jim for a very long time with my BMW, Mini and Mercedes. At this point I don't even know who else I would go to because these guys raised the bar of car service and customer experience very high for me. As a matter of fact, going there again on Friday to get a sensor replaced. Highly recommended!

Most honest and reliable service in orange county. Even moving out of the area, i still get my work done here. They do the work well and make sure all of your concerns and more are addressed and they do it for an honest price without overcharging or throwing extra fees.

Well seasoned. No lard. I enjoyed this new experience with Guadalajaran cuisine. I had a chicken taco and pinto beans. The food is very fresh and not greasy. Taco tortilla was toasted light crispy texture and tasty.

The guys at Auto Repair Laguna Beach are THE BEST! I have been bringing my cars to Haik and the crew for 20 years. The service is always outstanding. They will always make time for me, and they are ALWAYS honest and knowledgeable. Jim, the manager, is an angel, and Rafael and Joe are the brilliant mechanics. Today I stopped by for air in my tires, on a lease car they don't even service, and Rafael came out and filled all 4 tires, backed my car around so I was ready to pull out face forward, and wouldn't take a penny. This is a rare team over there. Thank you Auto Repair Laguna Beach!

I very rarely write reviews, but I'm so happy with my experience with this shop that I had to share. There are few things I like less than taking my vehicle to new repair places, but after relocating to Laguna Beach recently, I had no choice. I had issues with two of my cars, and they handled both superbly, helping me with low cost solutions and friendly customer service. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Jim, thank you so much! You've got a customer for life.

A friend of mine who works on my own car all the time recommended this place to me for the things he can't do. I am so glad that I got to know this place and these guys. The other garage in town is pretty good too and a little closer but just seems more expensive and let's say, do things a little more deliberately and takes a little longer. Both have been in business for a long time and it makes sense why. They're both great garages and are honest and fair.

James is an excellent service manager, who clearly knows his business. He's very friendly and has been extremely helpful keeping my 1990 Vanagon and 2004 Mini serviced and repaired. In addition, the mechanic Rafael is very knowledgeable about some of the unusual attributes of my two vehicles. I highly recommend this business.

Jim the Manager is a great and honest guy! I was borrowing a family members car when the mirror glass came unglued and shattered on one of my last days in town. I walked into the shop as a last resort after calling every auto parts store within 50 miles and Jim saved me. He assured me that he would find me the part before I had to leave town and he was able to come through in the clutch! He had the dealership hold the part for me so I could pick it up, even if it meant that he wouldn t be making a dime from it. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking to deal with a professional and honest auto repair shop.

I have always been very pleased with these guys. Everything that Pedro said over two years ago (see review below) is still true from my experience with them. They help you make your car last without asking you to replace everything. They are great with diagnosing and helping you evaluate your options. Excellent, honest service. A place that you could send a friend or relative to who does not know much about cars. They will be taked care of, but not abused or taken advantage of. Fair prices, thoughtful work.

We called 30 min before closing w/ check engine light on. They were so accommodating and helpful, fixed the problem right away. Probably best experience I ve ever had at a mechanic. 100% recommend

We ve been going to Jim and the crew at Auto Repair of Laguna Beach for years. They treat us like family, listening to our concerns, jumping in immediately to give us some idea of what the problem might be, and then with skill, talent and PERSEVERANCE they repair our cars and Class B camping van. They have our confidence, appreciation and loyalty because they earned it. We re happy campers.

My friends car had basically over heated and blow the hose and radiator. We walked down to auto repair laguna beach. The service was excellent and I didn t get over charged thank you I made it back home safe.

My car died right next to this repair shop and they quickly helped me out with a jump start. 11/10. Would come here for other services. Team was knowledgeable about why my car wasn t holding a charge.

As always, the repair and preventive maintenance work at Auto Repair Laguna Beach is done very well, only done if it's really needed, completed on time, and all at very fair prices. Jim, Rafa and the rest of the team are awesome!

We just got to Laguna Beach from Utah and we kept hearing weird sounds coming from the car. The crew looked at our car immediately and got us out of there within 20 minutes. The staff is delightful and so helpful. They identified the problem and worked hard to make sure it won't happen again.

These guys were great. I had a dead headlight and brake lamp. I called and they said to come right in. When I showed up, they were on it. I was out of there in 30 minutes with working lights for a very reasonable price.

wow so i went here because so many friends recommended their service, but I wish I never had. I brought my truck in to have the breaks checked out. I had notice the breaks seemed a bit too tight when applied while driving. After 3 days I got a call from LB Auto Repair and informed that the breaks needed to be replaces.$650 and 9 days later they returned the keys leaving me with their top assurance of a job well done. And wow they really knew what they were doing. they breaks felt brand new.....until 4 hours after i left(picked the truck up at 9am) as i came to a red light i stepped on the breaks only to hit the floor, again and again till i realiz ed blowing through the intersection at 40mph my breaks just failed. By the grace of God I went into and out up onto a hill stopping in a parking lot across the street using my e break, without hitting anyone. i had the truck towed back to their shop, and almost had to pay for the tow(the general manager of the insurance company took care of the tow cost when i called to tell him what had happen and how laguna beach auto repair didnt want to pay up front because it was "unclear if the problem was related to the work they had done" ) well it turns out LB Auto Repair didnt repair the breaks completely as they had said. not the whole breaks at least, just the break pads but had left the 20 year old leaking lines that feed the liquid to increase or decrease pressure to each break pad when breaking. the new pads put too much pressure on the lines they broke, leaving me in a 3ton death machine. thanks for going above and beyond to help a clue less 18 year old with his first car guys.

I was locked out of my trunk and the Irish guy was trying to help me figure out how to get back. I needed a new key, but the Latino guy saved my 60$ in Uber, by poking the seat lock open. Seriously saved me 60$ in Uber money, and I could get my wallet to eat, and ID, and phone. Everything. This shop saved me a lot of Uber money bc I live in LA. - imagine I had to get my car towed to dealer for new key. Then Uber myself to LA then, Uber back to the dealer in irvine in the morning. God the amount of money! Saved. This auto show saved my peace of mind.

Great local shop. The front office is run very efficiently. The mechanics are excellent and they are fair.
