I was recently involved in an accident. That in and of itself was quite stressful however the business owner, Johnny Sanchez took the stress out of the equation for me. Like a true professional he promised to take care of my vehicle. I have to say that Johnny has great workmanship and his promise to deliver was on point. His passion for vehicles and service sets him apart. From the time I drove in to the time I picked up my vehicle, he stood by his word and did an outstanding job in getting my vehicle back in tip top shape. He came highly recommended and I would not hesitate to recommend him for your future vehicle needs.

I realize this is the same review I put on Yelp but I have been so happy with this place that I am posting here as well. Johnny has fixed my car 3 times, drivers' door got gashed, my gas pump flap wouldn't close and when a piece of trim got ripped off. Each time the repair made the car "as good as new" and done unbelievably quickly and Johnny is super friendly and helpful. Johnny's prices were really reasonable. He actually fixed the door gash for less money than my insurance paid. He is my go to.Service: Body & Trim

BJ and the mechanics do a great job of providing honest, quality and timely work. I needed to have my Saab serviced and they were very patient and informative through the entire process. It s difficult to find a mechanic that is familiar with Saabs, and they did a fantastic job. I've known Larry and BJ over at Svensson's for years and they've always provided amazing service. This last visit, I needed body work done on my Toyota Sienna and Johnny took on the task. He did an incredible job and finished the work over two days before I expected the my car back. I highly recommend the entire team over there!

Manager Larry Nelson and crew are fantastic! We have been taking our Saab 9-3 and Volvo XC70 to Svensson's for a number of years and they have never disappointed. Larry is a joy to work with, down to earth, and always takes the time to make sure we are taken care of. In addition, Larry is extraordinary at diagnosing problems, always makes the correct repairs, and oversees all maintenance and repairs performed. Larry goes above and beyond to save us money by only repairing only what is needed. We will continue to go to Svensson's Automotive as long as Larry is there to manage it.

Larry and his team took great care of my car. They had reasonable prices, and drove me to/from the Lafayette BART station! They used the same parts as the dealership, for less money. They make it easy to support local businesses!

i have been a loyal customer for many years as larry and his team have serviced the Volvo 740 which has just passed 332,000 miles! these folks are professionals, have extensive experience. the repairs are done correctly in a timely manner. they are honest and provide 5 star customer service.

They did a great job! They replaced my fender (quickly considering my car is somewhat dated) and fixed a broken window. Not only that but they finished a day earlier than expected and even took my car to the car wash down the street before I picked her up. Definitely the best body-shop experience I've had.

Best service for your Volvo, Saab, Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Larry Nelson, the manager, is a true specialist. We had them service our cars (Volvo, Mercedes, Audi and even our Porsche) since 1985. We strongly recommend them for their troubleshooting skills over any dealer mechanics.

I have a Saab Aero convertible with the turbo 6. No one here in N CAL wants to work on it. Swevsson Auto has Saab specialists that know the car and repair it with Saab OEM parts. They are outstanding, courteous and I will not have anyone else work on my car.

Larry is one of the nicest, most honest and straight forward mechanics I've ever encountered. Always willing to work with you and explain the work he's doing. Wouldn't take my Saab anywhere else!

Had my 1999 9-5 Saab radio remarried at this place. They did it quickly and charged a fraction of what others would have. The manager and workers were friendly and knowledgeable. Will be coming back here to get my next big repair done.

As a shade tree mechanic, at best, I got myself confused about the right next step to fix my Saabs climate control. I called Svensson for help. Larry took me the same day I called, took me in quickly, and helped me diagnose the problem. I did what he said and all's well! He couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend. Thanks Larry!

Larry (who answered the phone) at Svensson's Automotive was FANTASTIC. He really helped me today, so I wanted to take a minute out to publicly THANK HIM and of course to thank Svensson's Automotive. This is a great auto repair shop that has management and a top notch mechanic staff that cares about doing a great job at a fair price. Do you yourself a favor and call them for whatever you need, engine repair, brake replacement, shocks and struts, you name it!

I have a buddy who took his Infiniti G37S coupe and after looking at it was very disappointed, the gaps on all areas they repaired were very unprofessional and to top it off it looks like they rushed on the polish with damn glare marks everywhere, definitely told him never to come back
