This Genesis dealer may have the worst service department in the country. They have misdiagnosed my car four times for an airbag issue. The last time I had it in the mechanics disconnected half of the electrical systems in the car which I didn't realize until had driven the car out of town. It takes forever to get in and out of the service department so I have burned up untold hours dealing with this. I love the car but I am very close to invoking the Lemon Law. If there was another Genesis dealer nearby I would never return here.

I found the Genesis I was looking for at an Orange County dealership and had an appointment for the next day. I happened to find the same vehicle at my local dealership, La Quinta Genesis. I called and explained I am ready to buy and would prefer to deal locally if they could make it happen. From the first call to Martin, I felt this was the place I wanted to do business with. He guided me through the process, made a fair deal and showed me all the options on the car. The finance manager Eric was great (thank you for your service USMC). There was a small issue with the windshield I found as soon as I got it home. They told me to come back in the morning. The service department took care of ordering a new windshield and it was installed a couple days ago to perfection (Thank you Sandy and Jonathan)!This is a locally owned family dealership and has been the best car buying experience I have had.Thank you to everyone at Genesis / Hyundai La Quinta. Highly recommend!

Customer service all around was top notch. Probably the best car buying experience I have ever had.Henry was a fantastic sales rep and made me feel very comfortable. Abel in financing also did a great job. Both were very concerned with meeting my needs and making sure I left happy.

Please Read:Wednesday I go to my favorite dealership to get my new mud guards installed. This is a very good dealership and let me tell you why. I sold cars and managed dealerships for over 20 years I treated my customers like gold. If they were not happy I would not sell them a car,but I've never had a customer that was not happy with me. I found that at this dealership in Genesis Palm Desert. Totally a great experience in sales and follow up and service. everybody should have a great experience. All dealerships will not be the same. All the owners of these dealerships are owned by different people. You need to be happy. If a person can't deliver you a smile or joke with you on the phone, or in person to make you feel at ease, or if your not happy with the sales person, ask for the manager. you should enjoy your GV70 experience. Horrible customer service had gotten my bumper repaired and painted and it's not even the same color it looks ok in the night but the day time looks so bad it's sticks out like a sore thumb .So still waiting for a specific lady from there to call me to set up that repair and to get the recall taken care of and to let me know if the part came in for the rear bumper. But nothing for 2 months. I recommend going to Genesis of Palm Springs.

SANDY COGGINS in service Is an EXCEPTIONAL employee!! She s the reason why I always go to you guys for my services! Great example of Excellent customer service and understanding the customers needs. Unlike other places where they see you as dollar signs, she sees you as a real client and human. Totally recommend La Quinta Genesis and Sandy for anything you need!! No better place than here Will definitely keep coming for my services and maintenance!! 10/10 !

Great sales process. I mean, who likes to visit a dealership to purchase a car? Ralph was outstanding. Quick and painless process. Will highly recommend Genesis of La Quinta and Ralph. Vehicle was purchased on-line, I arranged transport (with Ralph's recommendations) and the vehicle arrived in WA state in showroom condition.

It is not my nature to write reviews and certainty I never expected to write a positive review of an auto dealership. But Genesis of La Quinta changed all of that. I moved to the desert permanently four years ago and brought my second generation Genesis with me. I avoided the dealership for service until I needed a blinker light changed. During this first visit I had them do a complete service as well. My wife brought the car in and instead of her waiting the two hours, or more, they brought her home. They contacted me directly to tell me the service was complete without extra charges. They pick my wife up and delivered my serviced Genesis, freshly washed, to her. From that time I never went anywhere else. I have interacted with Randy, Anthony, and Alex in Service. Over the three years those guys, Anthony in particular, saved me (yes I said saved me) over $8,000. Anthony recommended a different model of tire that extended my wear by 50% and when I had a major issue after warranty expired Anthony went to Hyundai and managed to get me all parts covered. The mark up of those parts came right out of the Dealership's pocket. When I pick up my car I was standing at the counter and thinking it was about it was time to buy my third generation Genesis. At that moment Bob Calloway walked in. Anthony introduced me to Bob. I looked at Bob and said I will buy my next Genesis from this agency without shopping because of the guy standing next to him (and pointed at Anthony). He told me when I was ready to see him and he would make sure I am taken care of. I saw him earlier this week and Bob and his team clearly exceeded my very best expectations. My wife was with me and she needed to see every color potential and every model. Ricky and Greg ushered us to car after car. They pulled cars side by side for us to compare. They did searches throughout the country to find some color combination my wife favored. In the end we selected the white 5.0 they had on the lot. Next came the price. Bob found me $2,000 savings from Genesis because of past military service and prior Genesis ownership. He transparently showed me details of the sale and agency's gross profit. After two hours of them working to assure we got exactly want we wanted we now have a 2019 Genesis in the garage at a cost well below what I was expecting. But really we came home with a feeling that we just bought a car from family. Can't believe I am saying all this about an Auto Agency, but it is true.

After several phone calls and emails I was all set to buy a Genesis GV70 only to be told at the last minute the car was no longer available . . . it was loaned out as a concierge vehicle. Baloney. They would have known that before setting up an appointment time. Something shady here. I'll buy elsewhere.
