My review is based on an oil change experience in July 2023. I brought my vehicle in for a basic service. The following day I drove my vehicle on the freeway and the engine sounded like it was going to explode. Out of fear of a major issue, I had the vehicle towed back to Pep Boys La Mirada (using my insurance s emergency tow service because Pep Boys would have taken 3 hours to pick up my car vs 2) - time is gold people.Turns out, the service tech failed to screw my engine skid plate back on, and it was dragging on the road. When I asked the tech how he was going to fix it, he proceeded to tell me that he ll zip tie it on . Not screw it back on the way it was originally, but zip tie it. Disappointing.I received no discount/reimbursement for this mistake and complete waste of my Sunday morning waiting for a tow truck.No apology from the manager. Although Desiree (service advisor) was very kind, I m disappointed by the lack of accountability from what supposed to be a legit oil change service company. I will NOT be bringing my vehicle back here for service.

Service was smooth and easy to get done. Lots of appointment times. The guy at the desk was nice, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. Price was great and it was easy to use the coupon i had on my phone from the website. Took one star off because the mechanics who worked on my truck left black oil stains on my door handle, steering wheel, and seats. I was able to clean it off with some cleaning solution and scrubbing, but that's why I did not give 5 stars.

Good customer service.But they lied about my tires. They told me I had a nail on the wall of my tire and that I needed a new set.Knowing that a tire wall puncture is critical, I had them install a new set. This time I asked for my old tires (still looking new) and when I got home to inspect them, I saw there was a nail on the thread of the tire. I inspected the interior of the tire and the nail didn't even go through the inner tire. In other words, there was no damage to my tire.

Manny and Alejandro are truly professional, polite and know their craft.I hope Pep boys acknowledges their talent with the best way possible, a raise in salary.Theses two employees will keep me loyal to your enterprise.

Great service and tires. We frequently buy our tires from Pep Boys for the hassle free road hazard protection. Numerous times we have experienced nails and other objects in our tires and Pep Boys has always fixed the problem (and a few times replaced a tire) for free.

Just want to say the staff was excellent. Manny was very knowledgeable in helping me with my air filter and cabin filter. He took his time to make sure I had everything i needed before leaving the store. Thank you for your service.

I dropped off my car today to get a power steering pump replaced. Jasmin and Manny from Pepboys service gave me excellent and friendly customer service! Both were very knowledgeable with what was needed and explained in great detail what was wrong with my car. They gave me a very reasonable price and completed the service on my car expeditiously! Strongly recommend that you come out to Pepboys and La Mirada for all your car s services!

Excellent customer service. Manny and Desiree were pleasant and courteous. Manny helped me get my car serviced and Desiree educated me on how to read my tire tread so I know when to rotate and replace. She also provided estimates on different tire options I have for my car. Thank you for all of the help and support.

I bought 2 tires from this pep boys and the service guys did not put any paper on the floor car and now car has oil marks on the floor mats and on the door walls in the inside on the interior so now I got to clean it I will never go back to this pep boys !!!!!!

Don t go here for brakes. The staff is good people but not professional enough and they re not clear enough when giving estimates for brakes. Just wasted $400 because now I will have to take my car to a professional to replace pads I didn t want or get a refund because apparently it is ilegal. The only reason I went here was convenience. For sure I am not coming back.

Jasmine was EXTREMELY helpful, comforting and efficient with her communication! I did not catch the mechanics name who was working on the day of 03/16/23 but seeing he was the only mechanic available that day he was very efficient and got my diagnosis with 30 + minutes after my appointment! Wonderful location and trust worthy

I had my car towed to Pep Boys on Rosecrans in La Mirada and they were able to fit my car in their schedule. Manny and his assistant, Desiree(sorry if I got the name wrong) kept me updated on the progress that mechanic, Chris did. Chris worked quickly and got my car back to me sooner than I expected. I will be back for service in the future.

I needed a tire service for my girlfriends vehicle. I was contacted by a Pep Boys employee, Lalo.During our encounter, his customer care was admirable. What impressed me most was his honesty. He could have swindled me and offered services I did not need at that time.Because of his kindness and professional behavior, this particular location has earned a new customer.As a customer, I look for honesty and integrity when I conduct business with employees. Reputation can be good or bad. Lalo exemplifies and represents what a company brand should be.

I had a wonderful experience at PepBoys! The entire staff was kind, helpful, and very attentive. Lalo assisted me and he was such a great help! He helped explain what was going on with my car and he fixed it so quickly. The staff was so professional. I am thankful for their help. I will definitely be back here for future car services.

Liz & Lalo agreed to take my last minute flat tire replacement and were so gracious to do so at the end of their business day/shift. They were both so professional, kind, & efficient in their service. I plan to come back when it s time to replace the other 3 tires. I would definitely recommend coming here.

repair was to be completed by 4pm with having a 12:00 appt. 4 tires and front end alignment, called them at 5pm and they were just starting the alignment and at 6pm we drove to site and the truck was not there and we never got call to pick it up. did not expect to wait 6 hours for tires and alignment when told 4 hour time frame. nobody went over paperwork or inspection to say if anything was needed.

I had an appointment I needed to keep, and the staff new this. They finished my car well before my appointment, but they just let my car sit there, waiting on the final inspection. The staff just told me they couldn't rush the mechanics. They gave me an ETA, but my car was just sitting there waiting to be finished while I was running late. I don't think they have good service.

I had a great experience! The manager Joe was very helpful in attending me early this morning. He has such great work ethic, efficient, and kind. I had an inconvenience with my car and Joe was so understanding in assisting me right away before starting the day. Joe made my day so much better! Amazing manager! Knows how to run his shop smoothly and effectively. I appreciate Joe and his hard work for making my experience a positive one. I would recommend anyone to come get assistance from Joe and this shop.

Needed two tires replaced immediately for to road damage. Liz E was fantastic to work with. Helped me find options to meet my budget and had me driving away safely quickly! Two thumbs up!

Today was Father's Day, and we woke up to a completely flat tire. I called my AAA, and they immediately came out and put air. We then drove to the pep boys where a woman came out and said my tire needed to be replaced. I proceeded to drive around back and saw Big O Tires. So I had my boyfriend get a price check on the pep boys tire while I went to get a price check at Big O Tires. Big O Tires patched up my tire for 35.00 while pep boys wanted to sell me a tire for 80.00 plus a 20.00 service fee. All I'm saying is get a second opinion! You might save yourself some money.

Just had a 5 stars experience at Pep Boys. Arrived almost by the closing time because I really needed a battery change. But Lalo and Hernan helped me with great professionalism and enthusiasm. It was my first time at Pep Boys and I am eager to say that I had a great experience.I really appreciate for their help and would definitely recommend my friends and come back!Thank you very much guys!
