As someone who works on their own vehicles, I can definitely respect a good shop experience. These guys got it going on! I had an issue with my alignment on my truck after having another shop install new parts, tires, and alignment, but I knew something was off. With Vic's new alignment machine, that was an easy fix. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and pricing is spot on. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for someone to trust.

First off, I'd like to thank Vic and his team for being amazing. I work down the street and went to my vehicle that was parked across from their location and had two flat tires. My tires had been punctured. Vic and his team came to my rescue, they walked over an air tank, gave me a temporary plug in both my tires and helped my stress level go from 1000 to 1 in a few minutes. I highly recommend this business for all of your auto needs. Very trustworthy and accommodating!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Vic, the owner is a great guy. Personable and professional!Took care of all my needs. Jade was responsive and informative. I spent a bit more than I was expecting, but van runs great! Unfortunately, I neglected my van a bit, over the last few years, but it's like brand new again :)And thanks Steven, for your insight!

Vic's Auto Repair Specialists is not only one of the best service shops in San Diego county, buy one of the best anywhere. I've lived a lot of different places in the U.S., & Vic's is consistently one of the best mechanic's experiences I've had.They treat people fairly, charge fair prices, & don't try to sell you on things you don't need. If Vic's says something needs to be done, it's only because it really needs to be done. In addition to their refreshing honesty, they genuinely stand by their work, because they know they do it right the first time.

Very nice people,friendly and honest. I finally found a good auto and truck repair near to my house. Vick, he has worked in my diesel truck many times and I have never had any issues. As well as other autos I have brought to repair.They are good on estimation charges.

I've been bringing my vehicles here for years, from my Corolla all the way up to my company's diesel moving truck, and everything in between. Never had a complaint or problem. My husband was going to a different place and they quoted him a much higher price at the other place. He then called Vic's and not only did they do it for cheaper they did it much faster within an hour. This will be the place that we will be going to moving forward. Exceptional and professional qualified mechanics!!!

While sitting on the shoulder waiting for a AAA flatbed to show up, I Googled the best auto repair in La Mesa . Vic s came in with 4.8 stars. Had the mighty Subaru dropped off at their door and talked to Danny about the possible causes of my dilemma. It was an expensive fix, but I thought they were completely fair. I understood the problem, knew my options, and went with the best fix available. The car is back on the road, runs great, and I m a happy camper. Throughout the the repair cycle there was really good communication, and that is extremely important. I like these guys.

The best auto shop in the area. Great mechanic for your daily driver. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Also experienced in diesel. They will find the best and most cost-effective way to get your vehicle back on the road. Highly recommended

We had brakes done in Oregon and something went wrong. Thankfully the mechanic in Oregon had some insurance to fix the mistake and we were referred to Vic's to fix the issue. Vic's did a great job. The brakes feel much better. Vics was very easy to work with.

Vic Reyes and his crew are Superb mechanics, and can literally fix anything! They are the best diesel mechanics I've ever met. They have welding equipment too, and if you can't find the part then they can fabricate it or repair the old piece. If you go to their shop, in the front they have cars, but in the back they have tractors, Semi-Trucks, tractors, generators. They are also artistic, if you ask they will show you the art pieces that staff has made out of the discarded parts. Expertise like these mechanics have doesn't come cheap, but given how little time that they take to diagnose and repair, the end bill comes out less. Extraordinarily trustworthy. I unequivocally recommend them.

The folks at ARS are top notch quality people all around and in my opinion some of the best mechanics San Diego has to offer..... There's no BS with these guys. They tell you what's going on with your vehicle and then get under the hood right away to take care of it. On top of that they fully back all their repair warranties. Price wise they are also extremely competitive. If your looking for a great mechanic that will get the job done right the first time and wont charge you an arm and a leg the obvious ARS is for you. But hey, don't take my word for it give them a call and find out what I'm saying for yourself.Sincerely,One Very Happy Customer!

I'm a repeat offender... I've brought three different vehicles to ARS during the last few years for myriad issues. They've diagnosed properly, repaired what is necessary, have stood by their work when warrantied parts from dealerships have failed, and have always charged a reasonable price.Accurate, fair, affordable, and honest. Can't beat that today.

They wanted $125.00 just to look at a leaky valve cover gasket on a old van. When all you had to do is open the hood and see the leak just wanted to know how much the repair would be.

Was very satisfied. Estimate was 450 dollars. End bill, 129 dollars. They repaired what was wrong lnsted of just selling me a new part. Thank you .
