Just brought my daughter s car by to get a check engine light checked out. Likely was a faulty light, as his first little computer didn t show anything, a d his big one showed a faulty thermostat. Popped the hood, didn t see anything, so he cleared it, no charge. I ve had friends tell me this is the place to go, so unless one of my cars needs warranty work, this is where I m going from now on.

I had a great experience here! After having had some negative experiences with a bad nationwide auto service, Alan and his excellent service and demeanor were a breath of fresh air, pun intended: the breath of fresh air is also due to my AC being expertly fixed, and it works just like new. His rates were reasonable, and even with an expensive fix like this he explained everything he was doing to address the issues with my vehicle and why, and also went the extra mile by checking my tires and other aspects of my vehicle to make sure it was working properly for me without me even asking; I am more than happy to pay the price for such excellent quality and service.Alan and Tune Craft have earned my respect and excellent review, and I would definitely recommend this business.

I've been going to Tunecraft La Mesa for 20 years. Alan is super. He's honest and stands by his work. I'm always 100% satisfied. There is no where else is trust with my vehicle.

Our family has been using this Tune Craft for over 20 years and they have always taken good care of us. Honesty and great service. They back what they do. We only go to other mechanics when we must or we am not in San Diego. I live in Lemon Grove, but I used to live in City Heights, we will go out of our way to use this shop.

The staff and service here is excellent! I have finally found a trustworthy auto repair business in my area! If you're looking for an inexpensive, friendly, honest, and high quality work, this is the place to go! Hands down! Also, The Hills Pup across the street gives you a place to relax until your service is complete.

Alan and his crew really know their stuff. These guys are pros and it shows. My family has trusted our vehicles and maintenance to them for over 20 years. They are thorough, clean, respectable and professional. Just don't bother them with projects that are unreasonable (or just plain stupid) and they will be perfectly reasonable in return.

Excellent service! This is the best my 1996 GMC Yukon has run (complete service) and stopped (new breaks) in 15 years! As a 65 year old woman who had been taken advantage of lately with a transmission overhaul and distributor replacement by someone else, Mike took real good care of me. Will ALWAYS go to Mike and Tune Craft!

I had to get a smog check to renew my license this morning and I called at 8:00 am. They said come on in. By the time I drove over, got the paperwork done, waited for the test, and then finished up business it was 9:00 am. Great timely service and reasonable price.

I have been taking my cars to Tunecraft La Mesa since 2006 for regular oil changes, any other regular service, and with problems. Mike and his coworkees are always helpful and upfront about the cost and the work needed and the time it will take. Never thought I was over charged for any service and if anything went wrong with a part they have replaced it was replaced at no cost. Weekends can be busy if you want to drop of your car. I've waited up to an hour sometimes but I was informed that the wait will be long and I have sat in the waiting area doing my reading.

Mike and Alan have been family friends to us over the years. My father used to have a shop for floor covering two places down and we always go to them for car service. They're always quick, do a good job, and are a bit awkward yet very friendly.

This place is a ripoff! They charged my daughter $500 to replace her spark plug wires and coil. LIst price is way lower I checked with another shop. Unreal that people are still taking advantage of young girls.

I walked in without an appointment, but based on the reviews I expected good service. The guy seemed annoyed and told me it would be an hour wait. So I went around the corner... Apparently I wasn't the first person to get that treatment... Save your time. Don't go.

Worst mechanic ever! They replaced the wrong part on my car and ruined it! When I called to tell twin they took no responsibility and lied about it.If you want your car ruined take it to Tune Craft
