After careful consideration, I decided to give Midas a shot . First time customer And man they did not disappoint! As I arrived, Richard P has provided such excellent/outstanding service from start to finish from explaining the brake diagnosed, the cost, time, and being a great support system to his team. In addition to the coordination flow with several incoming calls(5), to completion of vehicles and assisting in person customers and yet prioritizing the customers based on time schedule. He puts his multitasking skills to action and is very knowledgeable. A truly honest kind person who has a passion to help provide the best service to it's customers and his team. He explains in great detail what Midas can offer to repair your vehicle. You are awesome Advisor, and a manager who delivers! I would recommend Midas and see Richard P for help/repairs/estimates for your vehicle.

I thought everything went great.. Until I got in my car. My glovebox was taken apart and the cover to my cabin filter was also on the floor.. today I put it back together and my cabin filter is missing! The front desk guy was nice though .

Excellent service!! Made an appointment yesterday for an oil change/inspection this morning. They were timely, thorough and very communicative throughout the whole process. Richard at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He texted me with updates to let me know if additional services were required, as well as when the appointment was complete. Would use again!

They got a new customer for life. Best auto shop! I came in knowing something was off on my car and come to find out it was a bigger problem than I thought. They were honest with the time it was going to take and even helped me out the a discount. Customer service was great and they are always available over the phone.

Will was the Midas employee that helped me. I needed to get 4 new tires along with an oil change and he not only found me a better deal $$ but he also was very informative and professional. My car drove smooth and felt new again. Service was pretty fast as well. I would come here again, and I'd definitely recommend this place to others. Good luck with anything more than an oil change.Edit: 1 star. Another shop tightened the belt and it immediately stopped squeaking. Wasted a lot of time and an extra $80 for a really simple fix.Edit: 2 stars, my car is still squeaking and I have to find somewhere else to go.Previously a five star review, but my experience lately wasn't good. Just spent over $1,000 on maintenance including a new serpentine belt last weekend but it was squeaking a lot, so I called on Wednesday to make an appointment on Saturday (today) to bring it back in. But I was told to bring it in on Friday any time before 5:30pm so they can check it Saturday while the engine's cold. Me and my partner arrived separately (so he could drive me home) at 5:10pm Friday but they were closed already. Called in the morning today, and no apology for closing early. Dropped it off later, no apology. Picked it up, no apology. I was just told that I need to give them a heads up before dropping off...which I did on Wednesday. I was under the impression that I had an appointment for Friday drop off. Mistakes happen, maybe the Wednesday guy didn't tell the Friday guy. But it's pretty rude to not apologize for a mistake you made that negatively impacts others. We live in Hillcrest and went through a ton of traffic after work to get there on time. Really clearly indicates that you don't respect our time.

I went to pick up my car this Saturday 2/17, evening and was told the price was now $250. I asked how we got from a $119 to a $250. The staff member explained to me that it is their practice to charge $25 per gallon to put gas in a car. I told him I could have had Triple A come and deliver gas for free had I been made aware.Life is filled with lessons to be learned Buyer be ware...I explained to the staff member it is better to ask/inform a client before spending a clients money in any manner beyond what was authorized and agreed upon $119.Bill $250 (with unauthorized added fuel charge of $25 � 5gls. =$125)Going forward I enourage everyone write on these documents we may sign:"CALL CLIENT BEFORE making any decisions about their money beyond what was agreed upon at time of drop off!"This is our family go to place we have multiple car serviced here. Just sharing knowledge of an experience that can be alleviated with a phone call or text to the client. I love to feel good about the service I receive and the service I render. Please always let be the one who decides how my money is invested.

First time in and had a great experience. Set an appointment ahead of time for my oil change with a coupon and they made it valid. Easy in and out. Comfortable waiting area. Good customer service. Recommended.

We are a military family and have lived all across the US (and beyond!) so we always try to use national brands when possible with our vehicles as we never get rid of them and keep meticulous service records. Lifetime warranty means something to us! Midas has been a huge part of this, and our local again (now that we are back home!) Midas has been our favorite so far! Want an honest option? With parts and service they stand by? Virtual overviews of what they find with your vehicle with photos? Visit the La Mesa, CA Midas where they treat you like family and the manager David even checks in after every service! We feel heard and appreciated here, you will too!

Took my car in for a brake job. When i picked it up they said I had a suspension problem. I told them it didnt have the noise when I brought it in. They rechecked their and still said I had a suspension problem. Took it to Honda and they found a loose bolt on a brake caliper. Midas paid me the service Honda fee but they should have taken owership. I spent 2 days extra getting things right.

I did not have an appointment and they did have business going on at the time early in the morning but Richard squeezed me in there nice and fast he's very professional they've got a nice clean shop. And he was very professional and friendly thank you Richard for your great service I highly recommend this shop.

They are friendly but take a long time and from the look of It the could have been faster they told me two and a half hours it's been 3 and it's still not done. I don't know if a transmission fluid change should take more than 3 hours but either way it sucks ....

Places like this are awesome. Walked in had great welcoming. Got exactly what I needed and was done right away. It was nice to see a busy shop. They also recommended and patiently explained what needed to be done to fix a oil leak.Thanks

They found that I needed to replace my rotors in addition to new brake pads and they adjusted labor costs to bring down the total. They re super honest and reasonable.

Dealership mechanic straight up lied to me about needing all my brakes replaced, the guys at this Midas were honest about what I really needed done. Shout-out to Will for giving me real options. Even saw them help out an old lady with a light that wouldn't shut off, turns out she just didn't close her trunk properly.

I'm so very disappointed in this place. I've been here many times and have never had a problem. Came here for brakes and tires. They did a great job on the brakes. Now with the tires this is where the problem starts. 4 new tires they are only able install the front because they said the back tire nut is stripped. I tell them ok I will take it to the last place who did my back brakes I take it to the place they tell me no it's fine. MIDAS used the wrong size to remove it Ok back to MIDAS. When I get to MIDAS the next day Richard is not in and Will has no ideal what's going on. I tell Will the the screw is not stipped and can you put the back tires on. He tells me that the machine is not working and has not been working to put my back tires on. And their alignment machine is not working also(I wouldn't have bought the tires if knew all this) they can take it next door to some random shop that is not under MIDAS. So at this point we are going back and forth. Richard was so honest and friendly in the beginning. I guess it doesn't matter how you make the sale. Just sell it. -1 star!

Quick and easy. They allowed my friendly dog to enter. Staff was well trained and the supervisor was open to all questions asked. Definitely coming back. And they cost just as much as my Valvoline trip with a Groupon. Definitely saved time and money coming here. No coupon needed, they have some in store.

I came expecting to pay a huge amount of money and turns out I didn't have any issues at all, they were honest and told me nothing was wrong with the vehicle and I appreciated not being made to pay for something that wasn't wrong due to another place trying to pull as fast one on me. Definitely coming back.

Got a oil change on 10/12/2023 and I'm on the highway and my oil filter falls off and now sitting on the highway waiting for a tow truck. I better be reimbursed or get another for free. This is ridiculous 90$ for them to do an incorrect/incomplete job. As an active duty military member this is unacceptable and there is absolutely no reason for this sort of Mal practice. 2 days after a oil change and this happens. Unacceptable l!!

Avoid this midas at all cost . Lied about time of repair! Off by weeks never got same guy on phone and over priced ridiculous had to call corporate many times on this location! Plus after 2.5 weeks mice ate through shifter leather and.other parts of my car! Horrible still seeing if they will pay for my car being ate by mice after over paying 6k on repairs! Warning! Stay away better luck anywhere !Services: Electrical repair, Auto water leak repair

I ve been going to Midas for years now and only made good experiences. I m always happy with the service they provide. They really take their time to inspect your vehicle from top to bottom to ensure that it is safe to drive. I had my breaks done and an oil change. My vehicle was ready to go within a couple of hours. Highly recommend that place.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Oil change

Wednesday I spoke with Jerry & 8am Saturday was my appointment. Will checked me in and explained each steps of service that were taken as well as the (maybe steps) should that route needed to be taken. My brake pedal was hitting the floor and even though my nephew did his brake skills thing there was something else going on, we just didn't know what. David did his Midas touch, removed old brake fluid and air pockets, replaced new brake fluids and ta da. The Midas touch!!!! It was done by 10:30am. You can't ask for much after that awesome job.
