The Evans La Mesa team saved the day when I got a flat tire! I had bought my tires from them before and Carlos ordered me a new tire overnight, said it would be max $60 if it needed to be replaced. But even better is that John was able to patch up my original tire, so I paid $0!! I appreciate their honesty and getting me in quickly for the fix. They turned what I thought would be a complicated and pricey issue into a quick and free one - I recommend getting your tires here!

Who likes to buy tires? Not exactly a fun purchase but Junior and the crew at Evans made it (mostly) painless. I really appreciated the no nonsense approach. No one tried to sell me a cabin filter or a left handed smoke shifter, we just got to business and worked out a great deal. I ll be back.

Here for a quick rotate. That didn't happen. Salesman wanted to show me I haven't rotated my tires enough and told me my warranty would be void. All while trying to get me to buy 2 tires, get an alignment and almost get hit by a car. Would no longer recommend shopping here. They sale off brand tires and do not write on your paperwork the warranty information.

Carlos is seriously the best. He helped me out in any way he could. I had to spend so much money fixing my car but he made it worth it. My car is better now then when I first got it!!

Richie helped me today and was very knowledgeable. He quoted me over the phone and the price was the best I heard.Once I got there they offered to do a free alignment check. The check went so well that the price quoted and the price I paid was a world of a difference due to my rear alignement being good to go.Quick and friendly, and most importantly they were honest. Highly recommended!

This is my second time at this particular location. The shop is very honest and upfront, and is willing to work with you on price. I Brought the car in for tires, and it needed much more work than that. I felt very comfortable having the shop perform the work. I will continue to bring my cars to this particular shop because of how well they treat their customers. It s hard to find a honest reputable shop these days.

Carlos treated me so well. I had a Prius that needed four tires but also an axle and one other thing I can't recall. He was reassuring and gave me a good deal. I will not be coming back to Evans tires, unfortunately. Got 4 new tires and brakes in June, they were wobbly. Came back to a different Evans location to be have them looked at and was told the tires had not been balanced properly and also my struts were in desperate need to be replaced ($1200), but had not been told that at the previous time. Poor communication, poor customer service. It's first come first serve and always a wait, took me three times to the shop to be able to get my tires balanced. They offer free servicing of the tires when you purchase with them, but taking advantage of this service is kind of a nightmare. Even with an appointment I waited over 5 hrs to have new tires placed. Sorry to say it, because we have always gone to Evans, but will not be back again. I don't normally leave reviews but they texted me for a review and so here ya go. I gave one star because the employees are friendly.

Better pricing than Costco. Mr. Ramirez helped me today. I got four new tires. Got quoted, tires changed, and got my car aligned in about 1.5-2 hours. Very efficient. Fair pricing.

Great service. Better than another Evans store that I've been going to for years. This is the first time here, we'll see how they work out I the future. Also location is more convenient for us. Did oil change and renewed 5 year alignment agreement.

I took my car there regularly for oil and rotation. Was getting tires at discount tires and that old me by looking at wear tires hadn't been rotated for at least 10000 miles. I was servicing it every 3k to 4k. Discount said Evans was known for this as were other shops. Obviously they do it so tires wear out sooner so they can push to sell you new tires. They told me to mark the tires before rotating to see if it's been done. No need I won't be going back there as they ruined a pair of tires

We had a nail in our tire and they got us in right away. They checked all of the tires, repaired the one with a nail and fixed an issue with hub capalignment that was blocking access to the valve stem. The service was great!

Honestly worst tire service of my life. I found a staple in my tire before I tried to go out of town for Christmas and I ve been coming here for a couple years so I brought my car in for new tires and an alignment. They told me they could help and it would take about 90 min. I went to Starbucks and came back about an hour later and my car hadn t been moved at all. I asked the tech very politely whether the car would be done in the next half hour or would it take longer? No big deal just wanted to know if I should Uber home and get some stuff done instead of waiting around. The tech got mad and told me he was working as fast as he could and huffed off. The other customer in the lobby thought his response was rude too and neither of us understood why he couldn t answer my reasonable question. I went outside to take a phone call and 15-20 min later the manager is driving by in his truck and yelling at me from the road that my car is ready. I was confused but quickly ended my call and went into the lobby. Where I stood alone for five minutes. Eventually that manager came in and explained it wasn t ready it would be another 20-30 min. He said I shouldn t have gone to the store. My guys don t get anything done when I m not here. (At which point I understood the tech was rude to me because he was not working as fast as he could and didn t like being called on it.) At that point I was over it. It ended up being another 50 minutes. They knocked $20 off for the wait which I appreciated and would ve put this all behind me.But THEN later that night I m driving to Arizona and I m in the middle of the desert at night and I hear a strange sound coming from my car. I made it to Yuma and spent an hour under my car trying to fix the SKID PLATE that these so-called professionals couldn t refashion correctly. I couldn t do it myself at a gas station in the dark and had to take it to autozone where I begged and paid an employee to take it off for me so I could finish my trip.Finally, I make it to my parents home and my TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR comes on. Check the cold pressure the next morning and they re 40, 38, 35, and 32. At this point I m laughing. How do you screw up a tire service THIS badly??? I brought my car here for peace of mind as I explained my travel plans and my safety concerns at the outset of the service. I ended up with the worst road trip of my life. That skid plate could have really wrecked my car and injured me. And nobody should have to double check that their tires are filled correctly when they drop hundreds on services here. I have never had an issue with this store in the past couple years but after this service caused me more stress than it should have, I m done. I understand mistakes happen, but the whole experience was frustrating. Worst of all, I have this feeling that because I m a woman and they made me out to be some type of Karen for politely asking for a status update, I suspect they didn t give my car the attention it deserved for the $500 I spent. I m done here, I m going back to Discount.

Carlos goes all out to please. All went well. 1st tire replacement with 20" tires, what a price shock BUT I found noone in the area that could beat Evans. Great place and aquariums to entertain.

Being this was my first time using Evans, I am very happy and impressed . Excellent customer service and the gentleman made sure my alignment was completed promptly and accurately. I was a last minute customer yet they didn't turn me away. I will be returning. Thank you!

I had the car serviced- oil change tires rotated all good and didn t take long. I like this Evans in La Mesa better than the Honda dealer.

Amazing customer service! It was almost closing time and they still took care of my flat tire. No wait time whatsoever, no questions asked, covered by guarantee. Excellent experience. Will continue to buy my tires there.

Came in for an oil change. Wait was 90-ish mins since they were working on other cars (understandable). An employee calls my name and shows me my car with no tires, telling me I need this and that. Appreciate it but I just came for an oil change, I didn t want to be rude so I decided to hear him out and let them continue what they were doing. I go back in the lobby to wait. About an hour later I still can t understand why I haven t been told anything so I approach the front. Employee recognizes me and tells me he forgot about me and that my car s been ready 3 cars ago good to know a customer was forgotten while sitting in the front lobby for a couple of hours. In total I was in there for 3-ish hours . just for an oil change.

The staff was dismissive and unattended. There were clearly some favorite customers in the office who were engaging in loud "locker room" conversations with the staff. The staff did nothing to politely shut these conversations down and attend to the customers waiting in line - instead the staff prolonged these conversations. This shop wasted two hours of my time by telling me they'd be able to fix my (I had a nail in a tire). I checked in with them multiple times over the two hours and they kept telling me they'd get it done. On the last check-in, I was told the tire couldn't be fixed and they wanted to sell me new tires. This place is staffed by idiots. Strongly advise against trying to do business with this facility.

The place was great, from customer service to the quality of repairs. The manager was beyond amazing in terms of customer service. He let me know what on my car needed to be fixed but didn t try and force me into getting anything I didn t want.

I had flat tire on one wheel and other wheel I had nail in the tire which was clearly visible I have sent to the shop guy and he said they will fix it and when I came back to pick up my car, they did not fix it giving me different excuses and kind of little bit rude.I would not recommend to go here until an unless this is the only shop option you have for your car needs

First time here and they were extremely friendly and helpful! Carlos was great and explained everything to me and was able to repair my back tire. They also were able to replace my front two tires at a reasonable time and took me as a walk in! 10/10

This probably would not be my first place to go to get maintenance or especially get tires. I decided to finally try this place out and the work they did seems to be fine but it seems as though they have had some history of not screwing in lug nuts on tires correctly which is a major safety concern. The guy who serviced me seemed to be nice but I would probably choose to go somewhere else where the workers are a lot more experienced in what they are doing as this should not have to be a worry.

The representative that helped me out was very friendly and helpful. Cut down the costs because I had a lot of work bundled in. He also gave a me a loaner car while they were working on my car. Service was fast.

Carlos and Ritchie were most accommodating! I brought my daughter's car in for alignment and tires. I was out in less than 2 hours!They were also very friendly, professional and polite. Will definitely return to this location (La Mesa) .
