Nasser took very good care of us. We came to him with out of state plates and registration on 2 cars. He issued new CA plates and registrations very quickly. Reasonable price for convenience and no need to see DMV for out of state registration.

100000% recommend this place. I ve been stressing over my plates for weeks, and this was the best experience ever. Nasser waited til after hours for me to come in, and got me new plates within 15 minutes. Thought it was too good to be true by the other reviews but I will definitely be back every year. Thanks Nasser!!!

Scheduling appointment was easy, service was great. I went when it wasn t busy and everything was straightforward. Overall for a complicated process, they made it easy for me. Definitely will return for next year. Mr. Nasser was very kind and the staff was helpful.

Wow. Just moved to California from out of state and Got my car smogged and registered here so easily and quickly. Was in and out in under an hour. If you re in La Jolla this is the place to go.

Man this place is so fast and professional. I walked in, registered my car and had my smog test done within 30-45 mins. As a new resident now I m taken care and this was the best place to do everything.!

We registered three cars since we moved to CA through Colonial Garage and always had great experience, no lines or waiting and dealing with the DMV. They did smog, vin verification and registration all in one stop shop to get your vehicle ready for CA. You get your license plate on the spot and title arrives in the mail. We moved cars here gradually over the course of 3 years so it is consistent and reliable!Services: License plate replacement, Out-of-state, Month & year tag replacement, Initial registration, Smog certification

If you want to skip the DMV line to register your car, go here! A friend recommended these folks since they're registered partners with the DMV. The service was phenomenal they even put the plates on my car. By the way, I had a more complicated case than most because I moved from out of state and had driver license issues, but they took really good care of me!

Myself and my partner visited this testing center to receive a smog certification for her vehicle as a part of the process of registering her car. Nasser went above and beyond not only to complete the test, but also support in registration of the vehicle itself. We are new to California and the moving process can be daunting with many to-do list items. Nasser was extremely helpful in making the process easy and making us feel welcome!

Quick, friendly and fair prices. Please note groupon price does not include service fee and certificate printing fee.You can register your car here as well instead of going to DMV for a fee.Park your vehicle at the garage/alley behind the shopfront and talk to the personnels there. Show them your groupon (if any) and ask them for additional services (if required). I waited for only half an hour for smog check and car registration, it also includes the time helping me change the license plate for my out of state car.
