Service was finished by the quoted time to complete it and the price quoted was the same agreed upon amount (no surprises) which is important to me because I had to get to work, an hour commute, and I'm on a limited money budget for car repairs. The person went even further by showing me the old, replaced part. Will recommend and return to this business.

I just wanted to say that Andrew and his team do an awesome job. They have done work on all my cars and I am more than satisfied every time I get my car back. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Great service

Great interaction with the front desk and manager of the facility. Shared info on my vehicles condition but also showed me dirty oil and filter being replaced. Great job.

I highly recommend Andrew and the SoCal Transmission and complete auto care specialist. They make a very stressful experience easier by how they explain and serve my car needs and maintenance. I will definitely bring my car back.

Andrew is a likable guy. Though he can talk, he has no communication skills. He takes no accountability for the work his shop does. He will insist it is something else. The shop always needs to keep the truck longer and then something else happens to the truck? This shop is the perfect location to display his work on classic cars. I notice them out in front, either for lengthy periods of time, or always showing up over and over. My 70 Chevy was one. It will not be anymore. Martin cannot communicate, he yells, and he is always right. At 1st Adrew told me he bought the shop from him, and he just hung out. Now Andrew has no answers for what happened to my truck, Andrew let Martin yell at me and talk over my mom and me. I say he let him. because he did nothing or said nothing, just let this man verbally attack me and disrespect an 84 yr old mom. Inside his shop, Andrew's reply is that he is my business partner, there is nothing I can do. He also said that this is no way to run a business?? But did nothing? That alone is a red flag I did not know before taking my business there. If I did, I would have stayed away.Martin told my mom; His excuse was he was born in jail. I just said you might want to check on your business partners.Andrew uses the hospital emergency room as an excuse. twiceThat is fine, I do not have a problem with that. He just needs to communicate with his guys to fix the car. Not let the car sit. like he does.I have used La Habra auto a couple of times no more. Beware. Oh, La Habra auto did my transmission and disc brake job. The issues found 2 other shops, front brake lines rubbing on tires and back lines too short. And transmission lines are leaking. Warning:When they do your brakes check and make sure what,they put Camaro calipers on my 70 c10 truck.looking for right size brake hoses.Thanks, Andrew.See yelp for more...The story

We had a really excellent experience with SoCal Transmission. We are so lucky to have found them. The new owner Andrew (it's under new management) is really nice, friendly, honest, really experience in Automobile repair. We have a 2012 Subaru outback that needed a replacement Transmission. A Subaru's Transmission is not easy to find and buying a rebuilt transmission cost too much. Andrew really saved us, he found a Transmission for $1,850 with about 56,000 miles on it. They installed it for a reasonable price, a lot cheaper than other places. They did a excellent job. We are really happy and they are now are new mechanic. We Highly recommend them.

I would give this shop zero stars if I could but it does not allow me so I have to give them one star. I have taken my truck to this shop a couple times now. First for a blown differential, they took 3 weeks to complete the job after ordering wrong parts multiple times. About 6 months later I brought the truck back in for another blown differential. This time it was just a cracked gear that i had asked to be replaced the first time but the stubborn owner had said I didn't need it replace. So this I asked just to get a new gear set put in. After about a week with no calls from the shop I called to find out that they had ordered the wrong gear set twice and a whole bunch of other parts I did not need at all and installed them with out ever asking if it was ok. They then tried to get me to pay for these parts I did not need or ok for them to install and told me it was the only way to get my truck to work. After arguing the price down with the unprofessional owner we settled on a price just as the technician came back with my truck that now had a brand new hole in the differential cover and was leaking fluid from a poorly put together differential. They took another week to finish the job after that. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE! THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY DONT NEED MORE WORK CAUSE WHENEVER I ASK WHEN THE TRUCK WILL BE DONE THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING UNDERSTAFFED!!!!

Rebuilt transmission. Had car for 5weeks. Transmission lasted 3weeks. Brought car back and they had the car for another 6 weeks and never touched it. Towed car to another Transmission shop on Lambert Rd. They informed me transmission had not been fully rebuilt. A lot of parts that should have been replaced were not. Called my credit card company and they gave me my money back. SoCal Transmissions didn't dispute it. So if you must still go there, DO NOT PAY THEM CASH!!!Service: Transmission

Came in to see if they can help with my car problem. They couldn't find the reason my car was acting up. But said I needed a rebuilt transmission for $3000. Took it to another place turns out my computer was going bad. The computer cost $120.00 an easy fix. Before spending a bunch of money get a second opinion. You might save $3000 like I did..

Do not use this company. They told me my car would only take one day. 2 days later they still had not called with and update. I was then told that a part needed to be ordered. I agreed and offered to pay a deposit that was refused. I waited 3 business day without an updat. I called and the parts was to be delivered tomorrow. I calles to confirm the part had arrived the next day but the part was not in yet. Andrew told mw he would call me back. I have not received that call to this day.... over 3 weeks later. Save your time an money. DON DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY 100 THUMBS DOWN.

Went to this place for first time with my son car .Another trans shop said we needed a rebuilt trans ! Martin at so cal trans said we needed a tune up & and fluid change , So we did and my Son 2014 Dodge Dart runs Awesome ! Martin saved us 1,800 . This is an Honest Shop. I recommended this shop to all. !

This is my second time using So. Cal Transmission Service on Beach Blvd. This time it was for my 4x4 Dodge 1500 with 196,000 miles on the trans. They gave me a quote and stuck within the quote. The transmission was bad and need to be rebuilt. The work was completed in 2 days and I was updated each day. I have put 200 miles on and the transmission is working great. Owner provided a one year warranty for the work completed.

A shop with tons of BS! I paid $2880 for rebuilding my 11' VW Routan (share the same tranny with Dodge and Chrysler van) transmission. Cuz, what they said is the only way. Less than month after, tranny went bad. Brought it back for warranty. 3 days passed, no one tells me what's going on. I called end of next day. No one knows what the status of my van. I should search more before I dropped my van off at the 1st day.

Don't go there! Unless you wanna pay thousands to "Fix" transmission only to find out that the greedy owner has ordered his tech to only flush the fluid so that the transmission would start working for few days and then starts being worse than before. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! save you money and time and go to a trusted name shop like AAMCO or your local dealer.

They know their business,....all the other contract them to solve what they can fix.... Your transmission problems go there best price and there will do the work... guaranteed..... Or my name ain't Jethro Bodine....lol.... for the old folks.

Worst place ever! Dont bother wasting your time going to these these mickey mouse people. All their good at is taking your money & never fix your transmission. Zero stars for these crooks!!

This guy is a criminal and a crook. Took $700. of my money, scratched my 1949 ford in several places, and never fixed the transmission problem. Stay as far away from this place as possible. 1 star for this guy is stretching it...
