Jos� is an honest mechanic. He didn't mind that I just wanted him to diagnose an issue and then I'd fix it for myself. He and his team have worked on our 2008 Mercedes C300 twice now. Please note that this establishment prefers cash , though I do believe he let me pay via check the first time.---I left the above review about 3 years ago. It's now 01/2019. I've been consistently taking 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport to Jose during this time, and I can absolutely say that Jose is an honest mechanic. My car has nearly 150k miles on it. I've brought my C300 in for multiple issues that dealerships have quoted me outrageous amounts for, and when I bring it to Jose, he always sets the record straight and tells me exactly what I would need. If there's ever anything he can't do, he tells me right away.Note: Google Maps may steer you in the wrong direction to get here (it tries to take you behind the shop). It's at the end of the "road" in this parking lot. Take a left when you see the Smog shop. Parking is always tough since there's so many different shops, but park wherever you see an open spot. If you can't find one, I'm sure you can leave your car in front of German Auto and Jose will figure it out for you.In this shop, you're not going to see a waiting room, coffee or any sort of amenity. This is a car repair shop and a car repair shop only. You are also not going to see inflated prices or any sort of fee for operating these sorts of worthless amenities - so it's a win-win. There's no shuttle service or free car wash, but you are supporting an honest local business who does great work. This shop also speaks Spanish.Over these past years, I've had a sincere and trustworthy business relationship with Jose. He's down to earth, got a good sense of humor and an honest businessman. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get great service on their German car.

I have a 2002 Mercedes C240. Love the car to pieces, but according to the dealership it needed serious TLC. Almost had a heart attack when they quoted me $10,000 for the repairs. Soooo, I got on the computer and found German Auto Services - best thing that could've ever happened. A live, intelligent person answered the phone and went through the work that was detailed on my service report. Waves of happiness came over me when their prices were a fraction of the original estimate. Without hesitation, I zoomed my little Benz over and they got right to work. No waiting around the lounge and speaking to a service manager. Direct interface with mechanics that know my car as if it was their spouse. Even better, on every occasion I've had work performed, it's done to perfection the same day! This is one very satisfied customer!!! AAAAA+++++

Great service. highly recommended. could not find a mechanic who could fix my Mercedes e320 issues. I searched on the web and found German Auto Service in La Habra 621 W. Whittier unit E. . After a complete computer scan of my car, they were able to find the issue and fix the problem. I could not be happier. No more dinging and annoying lights. problem solved.

Great customer service. Im a DIY type of guy and rarely take my C230 kompressor Sport to anyone. I was performing my own strut replacement and couldnt compress my springs with my clamshell spring compressor tool. I took my struts to 3 different shops who couldnt get the strut closed, stating that there ways no way that it would fit and I had the wrong strut. Finally ending up at Jose shop (owner and mechanic of German Auto in La Habra) he was able to compress the spring in 25 minutes.Jose has great customer service skills even offering free tech advise of some issues that I've been trying to troubleshoot on my own (Who does That!). The price for closing my spring was only $40, great Price! With service like this he has gained my trust and i will defiantly be taking my car to him to resolve my rough idle issue.

I have had my 2006 BMW service here many times, great service, very satisfied. Owner is very honest, very experienced. I highly recommend him. Don't go anywhere else!

I was having trouble removing a wheel lug bolts on my car and the gentleman were kind enough to help me out. I would highly recommend this auto shop anytime.
