Able is my man right here! I have USAA had an issue and Able was so good at his job he fixed it right up, I even brought my husband here... if you want a trustworthy mechanic able is ur guy BTW he is a former Marine so you know the service will be reliable and professional. He definitely won't beat around the bush and tell you the problem straight up and if it's even worth fixing. I definitely recommend Express Auto & Smog on Whittier Blvd right behind La Habra High also there's quite a good amount of diff auto shops make sure u READ the sign!

I called at least five local mechanics to see if they could work on my 2007 Audi A6 Quattro before finding Able! And I'm so glad that I did! He did a great job repairing my car. I've worked with sooo many mechanics in the past since I've pretty much always owned cars that were over 20 years old and needed plenty of repairs (until recently)... Able knows his stuff, is fast, and charges a fair amount. I would definitely recommend making an appointment before taking your car in because he owns and runs his own shop. He won't make you wait more than a day or two before letting you bring your car in and it's worth the wait for his expertise and work ethic of course!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I was referred to Able from the smog inspection station. Able came to my rescue and fixed my car, after having a multipoint inspection with Honda that turned out to be a total scam. They never did anything. Able fixed and replaced all the things Honda claimed to have done.Finally a reliable, honest mechanic you can count on. Abel fixed my boyfriend's car which we thought may not have been worth fixing. He knows what he's doing and is probably the most honest mechanic I have come across. Very fair pricing- you will not regret bringing your car to him. We will definitely go to him in the future! Thank you Abel

A 20% markup is far, far less than the dealerships--especially for German cars--who will put on something like a 500%-1000% markup. The Porsche dealership wanted $4000 for new catalytic converters for my Porsche! I actually bought the CA state recommended part for $115. I wanted a replacement key for my Porsche, the dealer wanted $600.00 -- SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A KEY!!!! And you're crabbing about a 20% markup???If Abel charged you a 20% markup, he is WAY UNDER market!!Able worked on my car for a tune up, and told me that I didn't even need a new belt--it was still in good shape. He could have easily changed it and charged me, but he didn't !! I would say that was really honest!!! The tune-up was needed; new plugs and fuel filter, but he didn't put anything on that wasn't needed. It runs way better now, and the check engine light that I drove in with was off when I left.

I have been going to Abel for years with a variety of cars. He is smart, honest, and helpful with the advice. His prices are always reasonable considering his skills. I can't recommend Abel highly enough!

Top quality expertise and very fair pricing. We found our mechanic for life! Abel found a grounding issue, re established a new ground and we were up and running. Very honest mechanic, and a genuinely outstanding, and ethical businessman.

If you're looking for an honest mechanic to repair your vehicle, correctly the 1st time, without ripping you off, definitely check this place out. Abel is a great mechanic. Since Express Auto is in a complex with multiple auto repair shops, be careful that you don't accidentally stop at the wrong shop.

I've been coming to Abel for a long time and have even referred many people. Abel is honest and offers competitive prices. He has never cheated me and he has always been straight forward. I will not go elsewhere.

Just referred Michelle in La Habra Heights to Able for her BMW. Highly recommended and honest auto mechanic for La Habra, La Habra Heights and Whittier residents. His website is a little out of date, but I'd rather him work on my cars and trucks than site :-). Able rocks!
