I had my rearend rebuilt by them. Had a loud noise coming from it.They did a great job with a fair price. They did what they said they would and are honest and up front.I would highly recommend if you need drive line work, transmission or rearend I would highly recommend you at least go and talk to them.

Thank You Hector and Jose for the prompt, reasonable cost, exceptional service and repairs to my 2003 Ford F150 (Trac-lock Posi Traction on rear Differential). Hector Sr. was very knowledgeable and super cool. Treated me like a friend. Hector Jr. was also very nice and met me after 5pm due to my work hours. Very good experience. The truck runs good. Still breaking it in.

Was Referred to Hector by another shop. Came in with a loud pop from my rear axle end up talk to him for about 10 mins then we went on a test drive in my truck. Extremely nice guy and he knows his trade. I got 4.56 gears and tru track for my titan. If you want to upgrade or need to repair your gears this is the place to go!

I took my toyota tundra to American Gear Shop and Hector (the owner) totally took care of the rear end at the best price/value i found. I shopped around at three other rear end shops (one in bellflower and another in pacoima) and American Gear was the best value for my money. My tundra came out of Hector's shop 100% better: no noise, no vibrations. Hector went out of his way and even delivered my truck to my house upon completion. Also, another plus: he is open on saturdays! This is important if you need your vehicle during the week for work. I would totally recommend American Gear for rear end work!

Hector and his mechanics fixed the rear end in my 2017 Sprinter Van in one day. Works like brand new. Great Job...

Replaced my 2016 Ford Transconnect rearend. My van had 350000 miles and needed repairs and this place did it right. Very happy with there repair work.

I'm going to keep it short but I can go on for days about Hector and his son honest good-hearted explains everything to you doesn't rip you off like some other places do, good Karma's is with him, I even toad my car 15 miles just so he could work on it I'm not a family member or a friend but after talking with him a few times I feel like I am and so will you I recommend this place to everybody.
