My battery failed unexpectedly and I had to drop it off with my keys in their night dropbox. When I called in the next day, they were unsure what their schedule would be like but in true STERLING fashion, they had my car done way earlier than I expected! Fair price, phenomenal Customer Service and I cannot recommend this company enough.

A well oiled shop...no pun intended.Things run smoothly from top to bottom. I don't bring my vehicles anywhere else. Been with them 15 years or so. Always good response, workmanship, follow-through.If you bring your vehicle anywhere else I only ask "why?"Family, friendly, competent, service and repairs. Thanks guys!

Thank you Sean for your excellent service in my time of crisis! Traveling back from Sacramento my car was on the point where it was just going to stop running, very rough barely made it into the shop. Hewas very understanding and took a look at it with his computer system figured out the problem right away and was able to order the part and fix it right away so I can get back on the road. I must say that was out without an appointment that was just driving in on the spot. Customer service with a smile!. How great was that!? Also while I was sitting there waiting I noticed that all the customer service Representatives put their best foot forward and seem to be doing a great job with the customers. Thank you so much.

Took my car in for a possible tie Rod issue with my 2015 volkswagen jetta turns out with their exspertease I got a front end inspection first found out it was just a lose bolt how simple it was. The office staff was so amazing and helpful and knew how to welcome us in. The tech was great and did a thorough job. Super pleased and definitely recommend . 100% will go back for anything.

I have experienced better than average customer service and quite satisfactory workmanship on several vehicles this year alone. These folks take the time to hear you and collaborate with you based on your needs. Vehicle care best in Amador County I would say !!

Always a pleasure doing business with these guys. I usually get tires here mostly and Anthony makes it a breeze with competitive prices. I'm very picky with who works on my vehicles, normally do most of my own maintenance, but if I had to take my truck somewhere for service I can't handle it's definitely going to Sterling Auto.

Bought my 2013 Jeep JKU a little over 2 months ago with only 36,000 miles on the clock. Unfortunately because of so little use the thermostat stuck in the open position, an issue with the 3.6 L engine, coding P-0128. I have my own code reader but at 71 years old crawling under a car with out a lift is problematic at best. Sterling replaced the thermostat and temp sensor at my request in one day. Service was good, staff friendly, no complaints. Just wish the cost of repairs wasn't so high no matter were you take your vehicle.

The truck runs so much better. Sterling will be our auto repair of choice. I have already recommended them to friends. They are at the top of their game mechanically but that is only half of the story. Their personalize service is the key to their Operation. Keep you informed through the entire job.

I dropped in to see if they could help me unbolt a very large bolt because I don't have tools that size. Fully expecting to pay for the service, they did it for me for free in about five minutes. Super appreciate it guys.

Having moved all the way across the county, both our vehicles were due for some service. I was pleasantly surprised to have found this shop. Customer service is nothing but amazing and they seem to truly care about helping out the customer as much as possible. This will be my go to shop now for all of my vehicles. Can t say enough good things.

Came in explained my problem and they found the problem and replaced my transmission shift cable and now it's nice and tight and starts everytime. Very happy with the service I recieved.

I was left stranded on a holiday vacation. And had to have my vehicle towed to a shop that I was unfamiliar with! Nobody likes dealing with that! After a brief phone call I decided to go with Sterling Auto Repair. I am happy to report that sterling auto repair was great. They have excellent customer service! They were able to diagnose the issue with my vehicle and get it repaired surprisingly fast especially considering this all happened over the holidays. I felt that thay where very fair with their pricing! and thay even found a few other issues that they brought to my attention and were able to fix. Overall I have to give these guys credit thay did great work at a reasonable price! And this has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had with a shop! Highly recommend sterling auto repair!

The check engine light came on in my car just as we were getting ready to move from California to Nevada. I'm so grateful for the guys at Sterling, who diagnosed the problem, got it all fixed so we could get our move done. I wish I could take Sterling Auto with me to Reno! These guys are THE BEST!! I am new to the area so this was my first time at Sterling Auto Repair, I found them on the internet and saw good reviews so thought I would give them a try as I needed an alignment on my car. I was able to make an appointment within two days of calling. Staff were friendly, service was prompt, price was fair, and I received updates on service and expected time it would be complete. Now, if my new tires wear properly, I will know they did a good job! They did give me a readout of the alignment but since I know nothing about cars, I wish they would have just told me what all the numbers meant! I'll leave that up to my husband to explain! I would go back for future service needs for our vehicles.

Great job. Was late and still took care of me. Cleared my bmw service code on menu which I have had issues at other places before with. This was the 3rd car our family has brought in and always killing it. Will be bringing the 4th sometime this next week!
