Tanaka Auto is the absolute best car mechanic for both Toyota and Lexus cars. We have both and have taken both our Highlander and Lexus RX 350 to Tanaka Auto. He can fix any problem and his pricing is very fair. I highly recommend taking your car to Tanaka Auto.

Have been coming here for years and the service is top notch. Mr. Tanaka is always honest about whether the car actually needs something or not (there have been many times where the dealer has suggested a repair and Tanaka is provided a detailed answer on why it is not necessary). Highly recommend making an appointment as they are always right on time!

I am very happy with the repair job performed by Tanaka auto. I had an issue with clunking noises coming from the back of the vehicle. I went for a diagnosis and since the diagnosis was very quick they didn't charge me for it. They suggested me to get the rear struts replaced in the vehicle, aftwr getting the job done the car drives much better. The prices for repair were very reasonable (around 400$) and I wasn't quoted unnecessary repairs. The repair itself were done very quickly. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Mr. Tanaka is an excellent mechanic. He is very kind, honest, patient and fair. He is very good at answering questions to your satisfaction. His prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend his services.. My only regret is that he doesn't work on Kia automobiles.

Affordable, honest, no-nonsense. I've taken my Acura MDX for routine maintenance here since the warranty expired. The first time I took it in, I related to them that the dealer had told me I might need a new power steering pump soon. Tanaka looked at it and validated that the PS pump was fine. They've not ever tried to up sell me.

I consider them a friend. very honest and too reasonably priced. if it was not for Tanaka with my fleet of four(4) old cars, i'd be out of business.

A skilled, fair mechanic is sometimes difficult to find. I'm glad I had my Toyota serviced here and I'll certainly be back next time around.Just a heads up, there isn't a waiting area that I'm aware of, so make sure to make necessary travel arrangements to drop off your car for your appointment.

This is the only Mechanic I trust FULLY!!! I have a fleet of old Japanese cars that are constantly falling apart. Tanaka knows these cars inside and out. He will not sell you something you do not need.I wish he would accept higher payment to work on my older cars that give him a headache. If you are anxious about something on your car, bring it to Tanaka!Side note: don t get upset about the receptionist. How would you feel if someone woke you up from a nap?! They are here to service your car, not your ego; and they do an incredible job servicing cars!!!

Tanaka auto turned my 21 year old Toyota sienna van with 300,000 miles into a dream machine. He repaired the innards after a crash on my Honda Civic and did a fantastic job. My parents, girlfriend, and I have been coming to Tanaka for four years now. We mostly have Japanese cars and I cannot think of a better person than Tanaka to perform regular maintenance and repairs on our vehicles. Tanaka is a very honest mechanic; I definitely trust him with all the suggestions he makes in terms of what parts need replacing.Last week I brought my mom's 2002 Honda Odyssey here for a diagnosis on the engine light. After a few hours, Tanaka gave me a call and informed me that the engine light indicated a problem with the transmission and that he does not have enough resources or tools for transmission repair and suggested that I take it to the dealer. When I picked up the car, he not only didn't charge me anything for the inspection, and gave me some tips on what the issue could be.If you need a honest mechanic who will not charge you a ridiculous price and will not recommend replacements unless absolutely necessary, then Tanaka is the guy to go to.

Mr. Tanaka is very professional, explains the problem and shows you parts replaced afterwards. I'll bring my 2002 CRV back if it needs any repair or maintenance

I ve been fixing my Honda Accord 2002 over here for the past year and i m impressed. The old man is an honest dude, i would say the price is mid-range to slightly on the cheaper side.He even did minor repairs here and there that wasn t part of the issue, for free.

Let me waste my tow miles to his shop, looked at the age of my truck laughed and told me to get a new vehicle, then spent one day with it before telling me he basically didn t feel like trying to figure out what the problem was. Had to spend money to get it towed to a Nother shop where the repairs and it up being less than $600 and not that hard to diagnose. The shop owner of the second shop said that when my truck arrived: the cab was completely trashed with all of the contents from my glove box all over the floor. Also the security club was missing. I would recommend avoiding this condescending business owner, unless you own a brand new vehicle he doesn t care about you.

I had my car dropped off there after it broke down. They are extremely honest gave me a quote. Major engine problems so I decided it wasn't worth repairing.
