Came in for quick oil change, was greeted by Jose- right away guided me to their computer to ask for details of services needed. Yes prices range, but Jose explained the different oils and I made the best decision. Was guided to wait in lobby, clean with TV ,basic layout. Mark was professional and explained my final costs and was kind to share coupons available and charged me, gave me my receipt. The guys from start to finish Jose, Mark and Carlos were professional and great with communication, great teamwork, you can tell the difference when customer service is priority.

I came here around 9am Wednesday morning just for a quick oil change and new brake light, but what I thought was going to be a quick in and out service became an all-day headache of mysterious car problems. After dropping off my car for my services, I waited in their waiting room for about half an hour until a mechanic came in and asked for the owner of the Ford escape- me. He informed me they had finished the services, but were unable to get the car to start. Upon further inspection they had somehow forced my car into "Vehicle Transport Mode," disabling the car's ability to drive. I had never seen my car do this in the several years I've had it.No one in the entire Jiffy Lube could figure out how to fix the issue they had caused, so I called my Ford dealership service dept manager who informed me "they had to have been seriously messing with the car's computer system for that to happen on accident. You'll need to get it towed to the nearest dealership." Great. So, I call a tow truck and am quoted an hour and a half wait. I'm upset, confused and worried about my car- now that it's stuck in a mysterious "transport mode" that I'd never seen happen before ever. What's even more upsetting is that no worker would take accountability on messing up my car to the point where it wouldn't drive, wouldn't recognize my ford key, and wouldn't turn on. Seriously? And the kicker- they still asked me to pay $104 for my services as my car was currently stuck in the service bay, unable to drive, despite everything working completely fine when I drove it up an hour prior. Absolutely ridiculous.As I'm waiting for the tow truck to come, anxious about what they might have done to my car to get it into this state, a mechanic comes in and tells me that my car is now stuck in the bay. What?? He explains to me that the brake mechanism in my car is jammed and the car won't go into neutral for them to push it out in the parking lot for the tow truck to come get it. So now, my car won't turn on, won't drive, won't recognize my key and now the brakes are jammed?? So, I call the tow company to inform them of the updated situation to which they cancel my towing request saying they won't be able to tow the vehicle until it's clear from the service bay. Fantastic. It's now 11:30am and I've been here two hours longer than I wanted to and now I have no tow truck coming and no idea of what to do. I tell the staff they need to get my car clear from the bay for the tow company to come to which they say they can't because it's a liability for them and they need the tow truck to be able to clear it. Talk about a catch 22.About a hour or so later, they're finally able to clear it by forcing my car into neutral and potentially screwing up my transmission. I call for another tow truck which arrives two hours later. The Jiffy Lube staff then tells me my car's battery is now dead too. Amazing. The jiffy lube staff says it may have been a battery issue this whole time and that I should possibly replace it. Tow truck arrives and jump starts my car. The battery is fine. The vehicle is fine- it recognizes my keys, no vehicle transport mode, nothing. Just completely normal again, suddenly, after 6 hours.As I got into my now functioning car, the staff shouted at me to "come again!," as they would love to service me again some time. So disrespectful and incredibly irritating after my entire day was spent spiraling about what they did with my car for this to have happened. I had to cancel my entire day's plan as a result and after all of this- THEY STILL CHARGED ME for my oil change and brake light. I will NEVER be back here ever again, nor will I ever step foot in another Jiffy Lube for the rest of my days. I also caution everyone to stay away, because evidently they have no idea what they're doing.

Worst customer service. I was told that I would be given $50 off of $300 for the brake services when I visited this location in the morning. After calling them, I went in the evening for brake service and I was told by the Assistant manager that the coupon can't be accepted. The coupon that was in their location website didn't have any restriction on brake service (whereas there was another coupon that was explicitly mentioning brake service is excluded but not in the coupon that I intended to use). The Jiffy lube Associate who told me that there is $50 off in the morning said that he never told so in the evening. Without giving estimate and getting my approval, they worked on my car and reduced the break pad thickness from 2mm to 1mm by scrubbing it, leaving it in a very unsafe condition to drive. They denied the offer that I was promised and gave back the car in totally unsafe condition. I'm very distressed as I had to wait for 40 mins at their location along with my elderly mother and younger son cancelling his class and we had to undergo all these hassles. It's very pathetic to see the Associate/Assitant manager lying and not owning the mistakes.

The worst experience with an oil change ever. Waited to be greeted for about 20 mins, then waited another 20 mins for them to pull my car in but instead they pulled in someone else s car who showed up way after me becuase the bay was open. So the guy that just showed up got to roll right in while I had been waiting for 40+ mins. The technician that was working on the car in front, big fat guy was just on his phone the whole time not doing anything and holding up the line. The other techs kept asking him to put in the tires and he just stood there. The tech that worked on my car said he checked the battery which he didn t, said he washed windows which he didn t, said he went over services with me which he didn t. Didn t check most of the things that s the service said was checked. And truck is leaking oil now on my driveway, after taking it to another shop they said there s a crack in my oil pan??? How come no one told me when they were under it? My mechanic said they may have caused it and not said anything about it, so now I have a busted oil pan on my truck? The last places I took my truck never said anything about a crack and now i take it there and there is one showing?

Work done fast, they supposed to vacuum the inside of my car as part of what they offered however, was done poorly and the windows were not cleaned out and since I was not advised of the status of all they supposed to check, I doubt they even checked all the liquid leves as per their offered service.

Update - May 22ndI received a check compensating me for what I had to pay the dealership and the car rental. I also received a letter hand signed by their President. Thank you to the management team for following up on this matter, and making things right. I really do appreciate it, and that goes a long way for me.Original post-This is what they did to my wires near the oil filter cap. They actually taped over this to hide it, and long story short, I had to pay the dealership because they found this.Service: Oil change

Oil changes come with a car wash. Go grab Del Taco while you get your oil change.My check engine light came on, and the staff was super helpful. They scanned my car and checked my battery. Above and beyond

Came in to get an oil change and left my keys in the car. Once I had paid and keys were returned my keys were missing their climbing clip. When I told the rep about the missing clip they said it had to be in the car. This was a heavy duty climbing clip that does not just fall off a key chain. Bunch of thieves!!!

I had oil changed on my car and after I got my car back I drove it home, Couple hours later I came to get something from my car and I noticed something is leaking form the car, So I moved the car and there was a lots of oil on the ground, I took it back to the shop and act it like nothing is wrong, so they checked and they said the oil filter we not properly installed so they fixed and they told me to call store tomorrow and talk to Rubi tomorrow and when I called him he said well we fixed it and that's it not even hey sorry we made mistake the guy was so rude and unprofessional and act it like it is what it is. I am very disappointed at Jiffy Lube and would never ever go there.Service: Oil change

Friendly staff, and they got the job done quickly!Minor issues only- not sure why my passenger seat was totally reclining after the visit (maybe forgot to relocate it after checking on the in cabin air filter?)- they turned my headlights to "off", (probably after turning them to "on" to check the bulbs?) I always leave them on auto - so I was the stupid guy driving on his "daylight running lights" for the next few nights - d'oh!

This is a great Jiffy Lube! And, if you get an upgraded oil change you get a free car wash. I took 2 of my cars today and used a coupon from online I googled. Very nice people that work there too!

really like this place. they don't oversell you, ever. many times i'll go in, get my oil done, and be one my way. but they shown me the tool that measures brakes and showed me they needed done, showed me a transmission issue, etc. also, anything they recommended outside of the oil change, they always let me come back later to have it done. there's never any pressure to do things on the spot. i always take my car here first before i go to dealership for anything!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

I got an oil change and tire rotation. I waited in line for just a couple of minutes before they took the car. Jose helped me and he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The service only took 20 minutes despite being short staffed! I'll definitely go back! Highly recommend. You can also find some good coupons on their website.Service: Tires

Don't know why this place has such a good review. I usually use the dealer-shop maintenance service, but I decided to give it a try for this place since the reviews were so good and it was close to where I live.First of all the staffs were not friendly at all. The technician didn't have a single smile on his face and looked like he just wanted to go home. Well I don't expect mechanics to have a service mind like hotel receptionists, but he just didn't seem to have the least hospitality and manner to deal with the client.No one called me after the car service was done. I was gonna wait at the lobby if the service could be done in 30 minutes (as it was said in many reviews), but the technician told me that it'll take 1-1.5 hr. I'm okay with that. So I just dropped off my car and went somewhere else to kill the time. I thought I was gonna get a call when my car is done, and just waited. After some time, I decided to call them and the guy who answered my phone said "Oh, is that your car? It's already done". I mean is it that hard to call or text when the service is done?I don't know maybe I expected too much. As always, fast and efficient. The young man (Sean?) who took my order and payment is fantastic. While the price is high and a bit hard to swallow, the convenience and fast service make it worth it. Can I get it cheaper somewhere else? Sure. But it often involved an appointment, 45 min+ wait time and sometimes a list of recommendations that costs thousands. Just love these guys in Costa Mesa!! They're very honest they will tell you when you don't need a service. They've always been very honest with me. Guess I could go to a regular auto mechanic, but these guys have always been very fair and honest and that's what keeps me coming back. As of March 26 of 2021, this place is ideal if you want an oil change in a safe environment. All employees wear masks and provide you with hand sanitizer on request. Getting an oil change was as easy as driving up to the repair area, talking to the technician and waiting around 20 minutes in the lobby. The lobby was clean and tables were spaced apart. Overall my experience was comfortable and convenient and I would come back here again next time. They even gave me a free car wash that I can redeem up for up to 30 days. Oh and don't forget to check for a coupon online.
