Brought my Audi S4 check Engine light, Chris checked it out pretty fast and let me know exactly what we needed to repair. Very knowledgeable, Professional and Honest. He also replaced my Brakes and Carbon Cleaned the intake. Very Honest Professional Service. I took my 2013 Audi S5 in due to startup issues. Chris was fantastic to work with. He provided a very fair quote. He took the time to clearly explain the issues he discovered and answered all my questions. There was no hard sell or upsell. He was fair honest and thorough. He didn't try to fix other things that were potentially problematic and play the guessing game, but stuck to what I was asking him to focus on. I highly recommend Chris and Automotive Plus.

We have been going to the dealership the last few years for our VW. We started to have some issues with it this week and I decided to try this place since its a small family run place. I had forgotten how awesome it was to work with a local mechanic. He met me at my convenience and on the spot got to work with the diagnostic tool. He explained every line to me and gave me straight forward thoughts on what it could be. Within 30 minutes he assessed the issues and successfully resolved it, and it was an extremely fair price. What a far cry from dropping my car off at a dealership for 24 hours for the exact same issue and probably paying double. I 100% recommend this place.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I drove to Orange County from Portland OR when my check engine light when up on my Panamera 4 I don t want to make another 1000 miles without checking. I called few places around and only Chris agree to take me in without appointment understanding my situation. He quickly ID the problem with the full scan . While it could not be fixed on such a short notice he explained me that drive back home is safe. And give me all details about what needs to be fixed.At same time he fixed few minor issues that really bother me! The charge was more than reasonable and probably about 5 times less than Porsche dealership would charge me not to mention the time he saved me! I 100% recommend them to anyone with any of your German car needs.

I recently had some engine work done at Automotive Plus and they did a great job! They diagnosed the problem quickly and were very fair on the price. Jim and Chris treated us great! They checked out a car we were going to buy and gave us a complete inspection for a very reasonable price. These guys went over and above when working with us and gave us valuable information in order to evaluate our purchase and make a good decision. Kinda rude over the phone and generally seemed uninterested in working on my car. Price was also a little high for an oil change/diff fluid change but that's my fault for not asking for a quote. Got the work done fairly quickly but I'd look elsewhere for basic maintenance.

So impressed by the service here! Super honest, fair, trustworthy, fast, and fairly priced. Jim even gave me a Starbucks giftcard to get coffee while he worked on my car! I have only positive things to say about the experience, I'm always bringing my car here from now on!

I wont go anywhere else! Quick, efficient, and trustworthy at great prices! What more could you ask for? I used to live in OC but now I live in LA and I still drive the hour drive to Lake Forest whenever my car needs a tune up or some work done on it. These guys are the best! I've had terrible experiences with dealerships and the technicians at Automotive Plus seem way more knowledgable and efficient than anyone I've spoken with at the fancy dealership, not to mention MUCH nicer! Prices are ridiculously fair and the people who run this place make you feel like family. When dealing with repairs, they will take the time to explain and show you any diagnostics, discuss your options and be honest about the best plan of action while offering affordable solutions!

These guys are hands down The best mechanics I have seen in a very long time. They're honest, No hidden fees, and know what they're doing! I definitely will bring my vehicle back to these guys and I highly suggest you do the same. Keep up the good work!

Seriously, the most honest mechanic I've ever encountered. I came in yo Jim's shop thinking the repair I needed was $2,500 (replacement of the head gasket). I was told that by a different mechanic from another repair shop. When I brought my car to Jim he discovers the it's simply my radiator and thermostat that need replacing. Total cost from Jim was about $675. He could have easily done the more expensive job, and billed me for it, but he was honest about what my car really needed. Saving me THOUSANDS. Thank you, Jim!!!

Did a regular servicing on my Porsche Cayman. The guys were very friendly and spot on. They answered my questions fairly and honestly. They quoted the cost on the phone and it was reasonable. Definitely a place I will make for my regular servicing and repairs!

I have brought my cars, Porsche Boxster and Lexus 330RX to Jim for about 3 years now and he is the only person I would allow to work on them. The work is excellent and the prices cannot be beat. It is one of the last Honest shops I have been to.

These guys are awesome! My Daughter had trouble with her Audi A4,she just moved tos So Cal a few weeks ago... James pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone , I (Dad ) am in Utah , these guys were very professional and treated my Daughter with respect , fixed her car in less than half a day and MUCH cheaper than the dealer I appreciate a honest reliable mechanic!!Thanks again Automotive Plus Staff!! ***** Five Star all the way!!

Auto Check Center is an honest car repair shop. I've been taking my Mazda 3 here for 3 or 4 years now. My car is over 10 years old and they still help me out with fixing all that goes wrong with it. Used to take my Honda Pilot there too before we sold it and bought a new one. They are great at finding a solution to whatever problem your car has and if they can't fix it they'll refer you to someone who specializes in what you need.

Awesome customer service. During my trip to Irvine on a weekend; I needed an expert to inspect my Audi followed by a minor incident on the road.I went there at around 7:30 in the morning on Saturday and Jim took care of the inspection right away in 15 mins with a smile and at no cost. Thanks Jim.

Bought a 2006 Audi A4 and had buyers remorse when I found some oil leaks. Jim took it in and fixed it up, as well as new CV boots, spark plugs etc.Jim even called me a day after I got it back, to see if it was ok. Nice to see there are still some good honest mechanics around.

Love these guys! Took my VW Jetta in for a check engine light that several other shops had failed to resolve. These guys took care of it, even went above and beyond and took my car for a smog test for me while I was at work. They earned a customer for life.

Set an appointment the week prior. Called the day of the appointment and they canceled on me. They didn t even order the parts. They were supposed to email me and they didn t. They didn t call to update me on any changes. Interesting way of doing business with a new client.

Went in, Jim looked at my car, made check engine light go off and told me to come back if it comes on again. Very nice guy.
