I ve been taking my Mercedes s550 to Mr Bernhard & Art the Mechanic For several years, they have worked on four (4) different models & work has been wide & extensive! Usually they diagnose the car and & have the work done the same day! Anytime I have had ANY issues, they back up their work parts & labor! & I know for a FACT that Mr Bernard will only use high quality parts bc he s reused to do the job if it is not Bosch or OEM! They are Profession, Clean, reliable & honorable!!!

I ve been bringing my vehicle to Foreign Car Repairs for approximately 10 years. The owner Bernhard and Art the mechanic are extremely nice people and very knowledgeable. I will continue to take my 2006 CLK350 for service. Thanks guys! I have mixed feelings about Foreign Repair. I have a 2001 s 600. I brought it to them. Very professional and nice. They were flexible with the payment which was very appreciated. I paid 5,5K for them to repair my ABC. The problem started once i picked up the car. Im still having issues with the same thing. I have had to take my car up there multiple times. Now im being charged an additional 2500 to complete the job that should have been down. Additionally there is pieces left dragging underneath my the last time i picked it up. i hope they arent just milking me for money. So this is a 2prt rating will see what happens after next visit

I brought my 2007 Porsche Cayman S to Foreign Car Repairs & Sales because the car had developed a severe break squeak that my prior mechanic could not solve in spite of three trips back. The same day I brought it in to Foreign Car Repairs & Sales they isolated the problem and repaired it. That was some three weeks ago and the car has been perfect. They are courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely return.

This is not a official review. I have a 2009 SL 63 and they want to charge me $260 dollars for a Service A (oil change) Downtown Mercedes charges $230. Something is wrong here. UPDATE: DOWNTOWN MERCEDES IS CHARGING ME $180 for a Service A. These crooks are trying to charge $260 for the same service. UPDATE 3/31/20 this independent shop says they do some sort of full inspection. I just do not understand why they are charging almost 100 extra dollars for a Service A when the Dealership is charging 180 for a Service A.Make you discussion as a customer.

I gave them a lot of my business because they were certified by AAA Auto Club of Southern California. However, after they repeatedly recommended a repair and then did a shoddy and incomplete job using inferior quality materials, I was perplexed. I took my car back twice and they gave me, a loyal customer, the runaround. I got two second opinions from two separate and independent mechanics and they both confirmed the shoddy, incomplete repair. The two second opinions recommended the SAME EXACT thing needed to be done to complete the repair. I showed this to Foreign Car Repair and Sales, and they said the other two mechanics were wrong. The kicker: They continued to falsely advertise on their website that they were still AAA Certified LONG AFTER they lost the contract with AAA. Dishonest and incompetent.

Look guys, I'm not into bashing an business bc they have to make money. But when a corner auto shop in Inglewood charges $550 for a brake flush and oil change; and downtown Mercedes dealer charges $399 for the same thing plus all inspections, top off fluids, rental car and more; that should tell you to run far far away!!

Took my car there for service because I've seen them there for years. Had an oil leak which they claimed was the oil pan. I allowed them to do the work and was very dissatisfied, had to take it back 3 times for the same problem which they claimed was no longer the oil pan but now the steering pump or something. Took it somewhere else to find out it was the oil pan/ gasket problem. They get an attitude with you when you have to return for the same issues. Don't recommend this place at all. Notice they deal with alot of elderly people. Probably just sucking their pockets. Terrible.

I took pervious care here and thought these were good guys boy was i wrong, i took a recently purchased car there that was not starting. They told me it was a gas pump and 1300.00, i agree, when i pick up my car the next dat, the speedometer not working, the mileage counter not working and the abs light is on, all were working before i took it there. So i take it back immediately, we go round and round because i know was working. So guy tells me they will check it out, and then quotes me 2000.00 wow, never been so ripped off in my life would never take another car to these people. Will be contacting consumer affairs and aaa.

Jimmy and his family have become my Mercedes Benz partners. Truth, ethics and just getting the job done are hallmarks of this business. Jimmy knows the value of customer service and he is no-nonsense.

The owner is extremely rude. I don t know if it s because he s racist or just no people skills but I will never patronize this business or refer anyone else. He is also the most expensive in the area and is very incompetent. If only I could rate this business 0 stars. Stay far away!!

I think some people are not fair to judge this business expect diagnose by phone or try to bring there own parts for installation also some customer try mabe to convince the professionalThe repair to do what are placed on u tubeThis is not right to rate a business when refusing the jobMy own experience is the the labour hour time are the same than the dealerHigh knowledge staffandAnd lower than the dealer in labour rate and never have a issue with this place for the last 29 yehrs

If you need dealer repairs without the dealer cost, Foreign Car Repair is the place you need to go to. Sales and service were excellent.
