Muffler World, of Indio, did a fabulous job building a new exhaust system for my Range Rover Classic. I am very impressed with the care, ingenuity and craftsmanship that Muffler World put into the new exhaust system. I have owned this vehicle for 16 years, been through two exhaust systems. This new exhaust system is by far the best.I will be taking my other vehicles to Muffler World of Indio.Service: Exhaust

I had brought my 1995 Lotus Esprit S4s into Midas thinking I had a muffler problem, and they would not even look at my - I brought it to have it looked at by Art at Muffler world, he checked it out without any hassle and he discovered it was not the muffler (but rather a loose turbo) and he was very honest in saying I did not need a new muffler. 5 stars!!!

Other shops couldn't help me with my 1986 Supra, and they recommended Muffler World. And I'm glad they did!

Decided to put an exhaust system on my new F150, I was very hesitant due to the motor size and turbos, I put all my faith into these guys and let me just say they did not disappoint. I decided to go with a Borla attack system was more money than I wanted to spend but I am very very happy. I highly recommend this shop. They are very knowledgeable friendly and not just out to put metal under your truck. They really do their research and Homework before they offer you a product. Just got off the phone with Angel regarding a new catalytic converter for my Saab and I had to write a review!Wow Angel was incredibly patient with me and truly knowledgeable about the process. We spent 5-10 minutes on the phone brainstorming and it was so refreshing talking to one of the good guys, so rare these days!The price and lead time he quoted me for the cat was terrific too!Thanks for your time today Angel!!!

So I made an appointment for 8am with this shop. I get there early and am waiting outside. A half an hour goes by so at 830 I call the shop number and the guy tells me they are booked up. I told him I had an appointment and he says sorry we are booked up then he hangs up on me! I call back and they don t pickup the phone. I tried looking in the front window. I guess they were hiding. Unbelievable!

I thought i had bought new catalytic converters he even showed me the ones he claimed was going to buy for me but he instead just welded universal ones. I paid a pretty penny thinking id get some new ones not make shift ones. I paid $1000 for some universal cats he just welded up instead of buying new ones like he said he would.

Clean install on AFE exhaust on Jeep JKU. Angel had to do some custom work to make exhaust not hit frame. Truly an artist with his cutter and welder. Definitely recommend and will use again. So glad I found this shop. Another shop tried to sale me the wicked flow muffler. Hopefully no one puts that on their vehicle. Muffler world is very knowledgeable and only carries reputable name brand products.Service: Exhaust

I was there to get a price to put a new exhaust on my TJ . He didn't even try; he was rude, hostile, and didn't care much. As a business owner, I'm always going to try to get the business and make the customer feel comfortable in my shop. He's attitude towards me was like he wanted to almost kick me out for asking a few questions. What an experience.

Was treated with disrespect and felt discriminated. Never have I ever been treated so rude smh this is a bad establishment and it needs to improve on its people skills. I m surprised there still in business. I know the owner is a older gentleman but his employee the short dude has a anger and maturity issue . I rate this establishment a zero can t put a price on there work especially with employees with attitude issues. Just saying it s supposed to be business but they don t get it.

May look a bit rough around the edges in the lounge area. But quality of work is great and I'd rather have the quality than a chair.Big plus, is the staff are honest. Experienced first hand. Vehicle was put on a lifting rack. And I was shown what they were looking at. They could have made a job of the issue I was concerned about. But they did not. Told me the issue was nothing to be concerned about. Sent me on my way. May I dare to say, "Just like the good old days!"

Art @ Muffler World totally helped me out. I had an issue with some work that another shop had done. He took a look at it for me and as I suspected it was not right. Repeat after me, I m really sorry I wasted yours and your family s time. After telling me Monday would work for drop off, I limp my old truck in to find a shop completely closed for Presidents Day. A simple and understandable mistake on their part that unfortunately wasted a chunk of my wife and I s morning, and the guy can t muster any shred of an apology. Wouldn t have been hard and he could ve kept my business. There are other people who can weld, and actually be courteous at the same time.

I needed a trailer hitch put on my Nissan Murano. I went to U haul and they were unable to screw in the bolts as there was rust on the nuts in the frame. I then went to Nissan who after 2 hours quoted me $1,300. I was referred to Muffler World by another auto shop who thought I might need the hitch to be welded. Muffler World instead was able to remove the bolts that U haul got stuck and re-thread the nuts so that the hitch could then be bolted on. The whole job cost less than half of what Nissan was going to charge me and was done in 2 hours. Great people doing high quality work!!!

I was referred by another shop. I was looking forward to spending whatever it took to get my muffler repaired/replaced. Drove over there and they were closed. It was a Sunday, but still odd. I called Monday and was told that they aren't open on Sunday. Closed on Saturdays also. I explained that I work Monday-Friday. A lot of people do. Bad business practice Muffler World. You're losing business.FAIL

Just got my muffler delete from here, best prices excellent service, shout out to art the owner, he did my muffler delete on my camaro in about an hour, I highly recommend him to anybody. Thanks art

This was shared by a customer who received this message from the Facebook page MufflerWorld Art. The customer had referred to this company s mechanical service as trash, thus prompting this message from the representative of Muffler World s Facebook page. I do not know if Muffler World s mechanical services are good, but I do know their customer service is not.

Angle was informative and very polite. Only down fall is it's a cash only business, which my insurance did not tell me beforehand, so hand to find a ATM.

We had to get the exhaust pipe welded to the catalytic converter. They were professional, reasonable and was able to fix it right away. Oh yeah, the repair was on a 30 foot motorhome.

Worst place ever! Had my exhaust done here 7 years ago and finding out now that what they sold me were $20 catalytic converters after telling me they were aftermarket! This place is bulls*#<! Don't waste your money here like I did.
