I had a great experience with C and G Smog Repair. I used the CAP through the state to fix my smog issue. C and G answered all my questions and fixed the issue with my vehicle. I recommend them for anyone looking to have smog work done on their vehicle.

We took our car for inspection everything pass except a head light G & C told us that we had 7 days to ri g it again with the new light and not pay again. I order the wrong light and they were nice by extending it for 7 more days it save me a lot of money

True mechanics! Not simply "remove and replace". Jose and crew fix the issues fast keeping the total cost less than expected.Love these guys.

Everyone was professional and they got the job done. It took 3 hrs but I was warned ahead of time.Bathroom was very clean My tiny license plate light cost $30 but in todays economy that s probably about right. And I paid $130 for the everything.I am sure it costs money to keep the DMV cert up, as they are the only place I found in the Coachella valley area.After everything was done, my personal mechanic said there s one in DHS, so good to know.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Great service. They told me it was going to take 2 hours but it took 1:40 and charged only 75 for my smog to be done on a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. I thought prices were fair and the owner is friendly. Brought my Toyota Sequoia in to check for a leak/check engine light. G &C quickly diagnosed a few issues and demonstrated/showed each issue to me. They were able to order the new radiator, thermostat and serpentine belt quickly. I know this is not Nordstrom.,But some things are inexcusable.This was the most rude experience that I have ever had. The mechanic performing the test was very pompous and insisted he had his lunch when I showed up for my appt. He had me wait until he had had his lunch. Continuing with his pompous behavior he processed the test and processed the end of the paper work and payment. One my way home I noticed my Ca dmv paper work was not returned. The young lady of the office said that the pompous mechanic had left the dmv paper work at his mechanic/smog station. I had to make a second trip to retrieve my paper work. No apologies were made and the pompous mechanic just glared at me with his arms crossed as he smirked at my inconvience. Never again will I return nor refer anyone to this business.Service: Auto emissions testing

This place quoted 120 hr labor rate, which is high. I told them what I needed and they said the book quoted 2.4 hrs and said it would cost $360 bc it's almost 3 hrs. I've never had anyone round up on hours before. typically shops discount if they take less time, most jobs require less time.

Amazing fast service, great waiting room. Super clean, super efficient in fixing all your car issues. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. 5 STARS! JOSE is awesome. Came back for a smog for tags, Liz was so helpful.

Very un profesional,,, and rude ,,,Secretary on phone entire time I was there ,, and tech was very rude in handling customer,,.I m debating in getting BAR department involve due to the fact technician sign and approval with out a visual inspection in person instead he send the he secretary to do the inspection with out being registered with the state.
