I went here because of the good reviews. I had came in 6 months ago they seemed super helpful and honest I put a 1g deposit down they said they would have to order my transmission from the dealer fast fwd a month in zero communication. I tried calling phone off the hook eventually one day there phone actually rang and I got a person to answer they said there phones weren't working I'll give it the benefit of the doubt but it's been a month I asked if the part was in his response oh I need to call the dealer and if u want get the deposit I said I don't want the deposit I want the part and just to know what's going they were supposed to check and I tried to be patient but fast forward were now in January I had my partner pick up the money we paid in cash and they gave us a check and told my partner that the boss told him we'd pick up the money so why not just call us and tell us they couldn't get the part ? This place is sketchy unreliable and super unprofessional once you leave your car I would never recommend them to anyone.

It's not even about the service or what they do its more about how they are and how they treat customers. So very unprofessional and rude. Was trying to call to get my car fixed with them and the man on the phone was very impatient and rude saying " What do you want ". I took my car in to get it checked they just guessed on it didnt even use the computer system to check for codes. Stuttered all the time was being firm that he " knew " without checking my car and wanted to overcharge me. Don't waste your time with this place, customer service is very horrible and the guy juan is very rude

Charged more then what a dodge dealer would have charged and the out sourced electrical and the out source did a chop job on fuse box and the problem with Transmission was still thierthink for dodge dealer hanged Transmission fluid and filters and fixed the problem for 1100.00 desert Transmission cost me 2200.00 and didn't fix anything gso he over harged a d did shabby work don't go to him

SHORT, SWEET & STRAIGHT TO THE POINT!If you're a "hover customer" asking 1,001 questions, this is probably not your place.I got my estimate over the phone, went down to Desert Transmission, filled out an invoice.The next day, I had my car towed, 5 days later it was ready to go.EXCELLENT SERVICE!We are very happy customers & will definitely recommend Desert Transmission.

Both Juan's and Danny are very good people, although it took a little bit to get the parts in, they did very well putting our drive shaft on. And they give fair prices. Take your car here for any transmission issues, don't go to the dealerships!

Been waiting over 2 months for a transmission that we put $1,000 deposit on and now their phone lines are down and they aren't accepting any calls. Don't waste your time and just go somewhere else.

Did good work. Honest about time it would take before they were able to get to my truck. Quick work of the repair. If necessary, I would go back to them for transmission repair.

Despite there good reviews, I had a very bad experience and will never use this auto repair shop! I went in for a clutch replacement on my Honda Civic. He replaced the clutch and called me the car was ready. I went by to pick it up. As soon as I drove off, the car felt way off. The steering wheel and front right side wheel well area was shaking very very bad. I pulled over and called Juan to let him know what was going on. He said to take it back. Despite the fact that he knew the car was not right. He gave me the keys and let me drive off while I had my one year old son with me in the car!! He then tells me that the axle boot is broke and needs to be replaced and that my tires are garbage when I had just put them on. I went in for a clutch replacement and came out with another issue that was non existent before taking it to this shop. I was very unhappy with the situation and asked him how he was going to charge me for something my car never had before leaving his shop. He then mentioned he would fix it at his cost and have my car ready the following day (as he should) I call the next day in the afternoon and he tells me that my car won t be ready that day either because he won t have the part to get it fixed until 4:30 pm 30 minutes before closing time. Which made me furious once again. Following day I have to call him once again to find out if the car is ready. Cause at this point he wasn t calling me at all. He tells me that it s ready and that he s going to have to charge me for parts and labor. My CAR NEVER HAD ANY ISSUEs WITH WHEEL SHAKE OR ANYTHING OTHER THEN THE CLUTCH. Juan is very unprofessional, a liar and a scammer for scamming me out of more money if $1100 wasn t enough. The worst shop ever! Will never use this business ever again.Service: Transmission

If I could give more stars I would. Cared for my 92 GMC van like it was their own. Rebuilt my transmission and plugged other bits and bolts the old girl was missing. Would highly recommend and forever in these guys' debt. Fair price and did an amazing job. Van is running better than ever. Thank you Juan.

Took my 03 Dodge Ram for transmission work. Danny and Juan had it done in 3 days for a fair price and backed it up with a 2 year/24000 mile warranty. These guys are great and highly recommend!

I broke down on the I10 W because of clutch issues. I contacted this shop and spoke to Juan he assured me they could locate the problem and get started on it right away. I was on a time crunch as I had things to do in San Diego. I towed the vehicle to Desert Transmission Juan located the problem and got started on it right away. He put aside his other vehicles he was working on and got started on mine. which took him just under 9 hours to complete. Also insured his work for 1 year I could not recommend this shop enough, great work and superb customer serviceService: Transmission

Traveling far from home our transfer case went out. Thanks to some great recommendations we found Desert Transmission. They got us back on the road as quickly as possible. The work came with a year warranty as well. Very friendly and honest mechanics. Thank you guys!

I needed a clutch on my 2000 Ford Ranger, can't clean pools without it. The clutch gave little notice. These guys had it replaced in 24 hours. Along with replacing rear main seal. Now no more oil in my driveway.

Our Subaru developed a loud noise from the front diff. We traveled from Nevada to the area with the car in this condition. After a week the noise grew and the car was disabled. We called them and Danny came with a flatbed wrecker in 30 mins. The car was fixed early and under the estimate. Thank you! Mark and Kate

These guys are the champs. They found a problem that I had for the last 8 years as to why I kept burning up CV joints on my eurovan. Bad engine mount that was never replaced by some other or should I say others, who have thought they fixed my problem before. DESERT TRANSMISSION were the only ones to care really enough to get to the root of the problem. To me that's PRICELESS. Thank you Desert Transmission.
