I have known Tom for years and he always does great work. I had my E55 in the other day and Tom made sure my car left in way better shape than Ilit came in. I ordered an aftermarket looped fuel rail and Tom was able to go get his thing dialed just right. He also went a step beyond and reset the transmission shifting adaptations for me since I mentioned in passing I thought it shifted a little funky. After the reset the car runs amazing and there was no charge for the computer scan. So awesome!

Serendipity. I brought a used car I was thinking about purchasing to have it checked out. Out of the 20 mechanics in the area, I chose Quantum Mechanics, and I'm so happy I did. I was blown away by the thorough pre-purchase inspection performed by Tom. He took his time and showed my husband and me everything he recommended needing repair/replacement. He allowed us to take pictures and wrote up an estimate for everything, so I was able to show the seller the estimate which helped get the price down a bit. I had no idea what to expect, but I left Tom's shop feeling really good about the car I was about to purchase. Not only is he thorough, he is kind, personable and trustworthy. Tom, I know I said we would be back so you could do all the work on the car, but I spoke to my brother and he told me he would do it for me. We wish we lived in Huntington Beach so you could be our mechanic. Thank you for helping me feel 100% confident about my new used car.

I've had my share of questionable mechanics so I know a good one when I see one. Tom has undisputedly been one of the best mechanics I've ever worked with. From the first time I met him, he was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took his time with the vehicle and thoroughly answered all my questions. Tom not only provided top-notch service to my CL500, but he made sure to show me the old parts he replaced to eliminate any cause for concern. He's all good in my book. I would recommend him to my friends and family without hesitation. I brought a perfectly running M3 to this shop and asked Tom if he can replace the hydraulic lifters for me. He said no problem. Not to write a whole book but there he bent 6 valves on my motor!!! The car stayed in his shop for 5 months!!! He ruined a perfectly good car and kept giving me excuses. Even on the day when the car was supposedly done I barely made it home!!!! He demanded full price and did not waive any labor cost on the mess up. I ended up bringing it to a reputable shop in a different city and he told me that it was missing parts and hardware and the hardware that was on was not the correct hardware. Also new shop found an oil leak and coolant leak due to his negligence. Tom is incompetent!!! If you have a high end car that you car about I would avoid Tom and this garage at all costs. He should have been honest enough from the beginning and tell me that he never worked on an M3 in his life and I would have respected that and at least allow me to make a decision to let him work on it or not. He makes it sound and tells everyone that he works on ALL cars. Tom if you don't know just say it!!! Don't mess people's cars up. This has been a nightmare for me and I am not the only one who this happened to. His mechanic left his shop for a reason or reasons. If you care about your car stay away from Tom and quantum mechanics!!!!!

Tom worked with me to find the cause of my check engine light so that I could pass the smog test. He was honest, trustworthy, budget friendly, and worked around my schedule. Hands down the best mechanic I have ever worked with. I never leave reviews, but I wanted to go out of my way to leave a good one for Quantum Mechanics. Excellent service by professionals that are great at what they do.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Oil change

This shop is the best! Tom is a genius. I have had the best service here for my car. He specializes in Mercedes but he can fix anything. His prices are also very good. I won't go anywhere else!

Me and my husband decided to take our car in to see Tom at Quantum Mechanics in HB California. He was very professional, and told us exactly what needed to be fixed on our car. He finished our car in a timely manner, and also gave us a great price. Thanks Tom !

My MAINT REQ light came on while I was driving to San Diego this weekend. Alarmed, I pulled into Pep Boys to get my car checked out. They said my front struts needed desperate repair and gave me a list of several other issues... totaling over $1,300. I decided to sleep on it. I found Tom/Quantum Mechanics through Google (thanks fellow reviewers!) and I am so thankful I went to him. I don't know much about cars, but he took the time to show me what was going on under the hood. No, I didn't need $1300 worth of repairs. I am truly impressed with his knowledge of cars and ethical/honest practices. I HIGHLY recommend him if you're looking for a mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Tom is the best mechanic I've ever dealt with. He's totally open to suggestion and actually listened to what I had to say. Also I didn't have to take the car back the next day for something else like I have with almost every other mechanic.

Tom at Quantum Mechanics has been taking care of my Nissan and my girlfriends Honda & Mercedes for over 2 years. We are so thankful we met an honest and skilled mechanic who will show you exactly what's wrong and find a solution if it needs to be fixed. He's usually working on higher end luxary cars, but he is an expert when it comes to any vehicle. A+

I called Tom @ Quantum Mechanics a bit out of the blue for a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle I wanted to purchase, in the Huntington Beach area. Not only was he able to fit me in within an hour on the day of, but his price for said inspection was very reasonable and his knowledge really did help me make a sound decision. Thank you again!

I brought my AMG into Tom for a tune up. And he did an amazing job. I would recommend his auto repair service to anybody with a Mercedes. Great job !

There is no better or more honest Mechanic in Hunting Beach. He works in all our cars. I'm just getting into buying and selling cars and I just took a a Truck to him for service. Very professional and knowledgeable.

We all know that honest mechanics are hard to find, but look no further. Quantum Mechanics were fast, friendly, honest, and did a great job on my vehicle. I highly recommend this shop.

Tom is the best mechanic I have had many troubles with my cars and every time I go to him he has been able to repair them for a low price not even the dealership would be able to figure out wats wrong with car but not Tom I highly recommend him
