Have used PepBoys for years and have always had a great experience... Today I went in for new tires and was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate me immediately. Giovanni was able to retrieve the tires I requested and showed me the dates and tread pattern that I wanted. Within minutes all 4 tires were in the bay and Johnnie, the technician, was able to answer my questions and perform my specific requests having to do with the mounting order and spare...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!

What s the point of making an appointment for a 1 hour service, being early for said appointment, then sitting around for an hour before the vehicle even moves into a service bay? Especially when the service advisor says you ll be out of here in an hour, when checking in for said appointment. Guess I ll just waste 2-2.5 hours of my life sitting in Jack in The Box (which is lovely) I m bored so I ll write a review on it now (UPDATE)Service manager was very nice, came over and discussed that they are short staffed. Which is understandable. Better communication at the onset would be great.They were very through in their service of my vehicle.

Overall good. Check website first for coupons and price. Got major work done on car and they did not even bring up coupon on website. Is the customer supposed to remember something is on sale? Seriously, extremely poor customer service.

I can only give 2 stars because they fixed the problem of my tires which was fine but the service advisor Jon who was in charge of my car left a bad after taste for his poor service. First of all, when I came in as a walk in he was texting on his cellphone to begin with. That started out not welcoming but that s okay I was being patient until he was done taking care of his business. I asked him what can be done with a nail in my tire. I m not expert at car mechanic but I thought it would be a quick fix. He said I had to get my tire replaced and there was no other option than that. There was no explanation or reason why for that. He just made me do the paperwork, drop off my car, and didn t give me much of a time frame but a couple of hours. The only good thing was my service was done in less than 2 hours. I didn t come pick up my car until couple hours before that. Jon was waiting, I don t know if he was having a bad day or not but he said nothing, no explanation of my car, did my payment, gave me my car key and wanted me to leave with my car asap. Even though I already knew what I had to pay for I wish he would have given me the last run down of paperwork and service before I payed. I feel that s common courtesy but I ve got none of that with him. It looked like he wanted me to grab my car and leave. I felt his attitude was very unprofessional and I hope other customers don t have to experience his poor customer service.

Service was great problem was I had scheduled an appointment and when I got there I was told my appointment wasn't until the following day. Apparently Juan scheduled the wrong day so obviously I was not a happy camper. However, thanks to Waz, he squeezed me in and my car was done in an hour and 45 minute's. So overall it was a good experience!

These guys are the best! I needed a tire replaced on my mom's car, it was Friday late afternoon, and they only had 1 technician working..They got me in and out in no time, and I so appreciated their top notch customer service. This is the place to take your car for service!

The team at Pep Boys on Brookhurst (in the same parking lot of Jack in the box) are amazing! They greeted me as I walked in and serviced my car right away. The whole team was friendly and I will gladly be back to get more services done. 10 out of 10

Got a great deal on 4 tires and an alignment that was done efficiently. But the alignment was off, steering wheel wasn't straight and had to take it back and waste 2 hours of my time. They need to do a better job checking work.

Recently came in for Brake service and I'm very happy with the service. Professional staff and knowledgeable technicians. My brake issues were fixed and I definitely plan to come here for other maintenance.

Customer Service person was rude and made excuses for why no one was starting on my care. With an appt, and no other cars or customers in the place, they did not touch my car for 30 min, and that was after I asked why. The Cs person just lied to my face. I can see the mechanics milling around, one even walked in with breakfast. This was all for a simple oil change. Took over an hour, but the work tool 20 minutes.

Came in with questions about a car battery and tires. Giovanny was awesome. He answered all of my questions and helped me choose the type of battery and tires to go with. Extremely fast and efficient process. I was in and out in just over a hour. Great overall experience, I will definitely be back. Thanks again Giovanny!

I am going to go back.After speaking to Waz, I trusted I would get the battery tires as we discussed on 2/2/2024. We also discussed what to do I regards to the tires. He left for the day. His assistant Giovanny took over and I had a terrible customer service experience not to mention I did not get anything that was promised by Waz.I spent almost $500.00 for 2 tires not name brand, and a battery that did not match what Waz and I discussed. It was not even on the receipt not its serial number nor name. When I asked Giovanny he said it was to be referred to as "part". I was promised a battery by Waz with a 3 year warranty. I got something different without being asked if I wanted it. After it was installed and after I paid I noticed the battery did not show up in the receipt. Upon asking Giovanny he said it was referred to as "36 month wet battery". When i mentioned to him that Waz had mentioned to me a specific brand that I agreed to he said that it was referred to as a wet battery then he hand wrote "die hard battery" on my copy of the receipt. He did not reprint the receipt with the actual name of the battery nor its serial number. I had seen Giovanny have the store employee from Advanced Parts next door bring in the battery that was put inside my truck. He did not find it in the Pep Boys shop. I was the only customer waiting and I saw the mechanic sitting down most of the time even though I asked that the tires be balanced. The tires indicated wrong weights and showed no sign of being balanced on my trucks dashboard. I questioned both the battery name not showing up on receipt and the tires not being balanced. I asked if that wasIncluded in the purchase of the tires and Giovanny said no, when in fact i had asked Waz when he examined my vehicle earlier in the day. I asked that the good original 2019 tire i had arrived with be moved to the back right side. It was not done. I am greatly dissatisfied and will be seeking for this situation to be remediated as soon as possible.

Giovanni helped me out tonight with getting my headlight replaced! Super friendly and efficient! I always come here and they re just awesome. Wazi was also on staff tonight and was helpful as well. Will be back soon as needed!

I came to this location for service however, there was no one in the office. I waited a good 10 minutes until I went to the shop to ask the guy that was there if anyone could help me. The kid that was there was not helpful at all. I say kid because he was a young guy with a childish attitude. With his lousy attitude he told me to just wait until the other guy got back. I ended up taking my business elsewhere and I m glad I got it done. I don t need to deal with that type of service.

Fast, friendly, efficient. Got off work early and decided if they could get my brakes done this afternoon, instead of having to hassle with the dealership tomorrow. Got front and rear brakes and rotors done in about an hour and a half! Waz Thach was cool and easy to work with.

I had my truck serviced at the HB location today brakes, new rotors and I also had a very wobbly front wheel due to needing new wheel hub assembly :( my service advisor was Giovanni and he was very professional and extremely helpful. Jon performed the work and did a great job. I will continue to use this Pep Boys!! I was in and out without an appointment in under 2 1/2 hours!

The manager had an attitude and they told us it was only going to take 3 hours and it took 6 and 1/2 hours they tried to charge us way too much for something that truly only cost 17 dollars for 4 so understand he needs to check his attitude at the door before he comes into works as we got their he had a problem like they were short staffed or something no worries corporate office will be getting all of the information and I should have recorded him no one should go to this location unless you want to get ripped off

I recently purchased an oil change at your location on (10644 W Pico Blvd Unit 100, Los Angeles, CA 90064).The mechanics did NOT seal my oil cap back on properly and oil spilled under the entire hood covering everything from my alternator to my serpentine belt. I alerted them right away of the issue and it took them half a week to get back to it.They corrected their mistake but did not replace the oil lost as they said they did and from the oil covering my serpentine belt, the belt slipped and broke while I was driving and immediately showed me multiple problems on my dash screen that I ve never seen before!I then spoke with them about the issue and (1) employee advocated for me and got them to agree to repair my belt in which they did but said they couldn t do anything else because they didn t have the necessary BMW parts to fix it.Since then I have not had my car and still do not have it!

I wanted to share my impressions I did an apointment a day in order to get on it at 1 o'clock in the afternoon I was told that the car would be ready in 2 hours we were with the child and I warned them that I needed this car, which I was told she was still not ready I am very upset what is indifference and a terrible attitude I have to wait on the street with a child right at the door at this time these workers do nothing and still raise their voices at us I am very upset awful service

I ve been taking my car here for over a year and the service is always the best! Both Waz and Doug are very kind, helpful, and efficient employees!I ve gotten my oil changed, struts replaced, and battery replaced at this location. I appreciate how communicative the team is about any maintenance done on my car and how they will physically show any concerns found during inspections. I will be continuing to take my car here!

got off work at 5:45pm and had a leak in one of my tires with 25 PSI and everything else seemed to be closed by the time the notification went off in my car and was calling around with no luck until I called this pep boys at 6:10pm and the first thing I frantically said was are you guys still open? The man responded with what is it that you need? When I explained the problem he asked if I could be there within 15-20 minutes and I said I could be there in less than 10. When I pulled up they pulled my car in immediately. (no literally because I parked in front of the tire center because I didn t even see the workshop open on the other side! I was too focused on my car driving funny). Turns out I drove over a nail earlier today on my way to work and it was not expensive either! $27 and 30 minutes later i m out the door. 10/10 experience.

Corey helped explain the needs of my car. Luckily it was a quick fix. He was immediate with fixing the problem. Very friendly, easy to talk to, and honest! He did a fantastic job! Wazzy was also excellent in getting me quickly, and his customer service was superior! Thank you both for a great first impression will definitely be back for any of my car needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Pep Boys
