I have been coming here for 6 years and I can honestly say that Manager, Naser has always provided me with exceptionally good customer service.Corvid Update: They are open and while I waited for my vehicle Naser said they are here for their customers through it all and even provide them with outside sitting as he ushered me towards a couple of seats.They also do Uber & Lyft inspections for $15 Smog inspections and SMOG REPAIR, air condition service and they are an Official brake & lamp adjusting station.I always get my smog done by Naser and invite you to stop by for your smog & repairs..O' Connells have earned my business by providing me with awesome service for over 6 years.

I have been coming here for years and always get seen without a long wait!Naser has been doing my DMV smog check and is always the professional. On my last visit Naser informed me that he is now an Official Brake and Lamp adjusting station. So all of the Uber and Lyft drivers can come to him for their yearly inspection for just $20. O'Connell's has been a local favorite for over 20 years and still satisfying customers like me and at a really good price.

He told me he didn't have time for an oil change. I haven't encountered someone rejecting business before, so that was quite something. I went to valvoline, it's more expensive but definitely worth it.

I have been taking my car there for years. My parents too. We have never been lied to. I always get a second opinion and Nasar has never lied to us. We have developed a great friendship and I recommend this automotive place to everyone.

Thank goodness I stop here to get my A/C service before the summer heat wave. I drive by this shop constantly and would always see their $49.99 A/C service banner. I also needed a smog check, so I dropped off my truck on an a Saturday when it first opened. The A/C works great, and I was able to register with the DMV. Great service and friendly owner.

Great work. Fair costs. Never a problem. Goes the extra mile. Very satisfied all around. Highly recommended. Nasser provides excellent customer service and exptlains exactly what the problem and fix is.

This guy doesn't look out for his customers. I took my truck their to get a smog done. It didn't pass due to check engine light. We got it fixed at another place and took it back for our free smog. The truck didn't pass because the computer hadn't cleared yet and, when I asked him how can know if the computer clears he said he could check it. Now he is saying he needs charge to retest. I asked him why didn't he just check it before he retested and he said that he can't do that for his customers. He kept saying he was my friend and I told him were not friends. This guy is just after your money he doesn't want to look out for his customers.

DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANY REASON! THEY WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!I went in there about a week ago because my car was making a ticking sound. My mom's boyfriend who's a mechanic said that it sounded like a loose rocker arm. I explained this to the man working the register. He was quick to shut me down saying how he's worked on Mustang's for over 10 years and that they don't get loose rocker arms. He said that only imports get loose rocker arms. He explained to me that it was probably just an oil pump that's gone bad. So I left the car with them so they could inspect it. Within an hour of leaving I get a call saying that there was a broken bearing and that the whole engine would need to be replaced. They said it was going to cost $2,000 for labor and another $5,000 - $8,000 for the new engine. This completely devastated my mother and myself because I need my car for work and school. Because the cost was so much we took it to another mechanic. He looked at it for much longer than the people at O'Connell's did. As it turned out my mom's boyfriend was basically correct, and all that was wrong was a sticky lifter arm. He just flushed the engine out and it resolved the issue. Only costing me about $300 for labor which is so much better than having to spend basically $10,000 for a new engine. In the end I'd say avoid this place at all costs, they will try to screw you out of your money and say that something way worse is wrong with your car.Here's the short version for those in a rush. I took my car in and told them what I thought was wrong with it. Get a call back within an hour saying the whole engine needed to be swapped out costing me $10,000 for parts and labor. Took to another mechanic and the problem was basically what I originally said to the people at O'Connell's. Only cost me $300 to fix the issue. Don't go here ever!

New management-- Great service and prices. Naser is the new manager and knows his stuff.He got my A/C working for me for under $300. I took him the new A/C compressor and he installed it and recharged it.

Shop is a rip off dont take your car their please my friend had her car tow their gave her z price over the phone of 500 to 900 dollars without even looking at it so that should tell you something. Pay for the repairs and tow car back because it doesn't run..so basically back too square one .
