The service manager Donnie was so kind and nice. Very knowledgeable and helpful the least to say. From accommodating getting me in, to having my tires in stock, to the time I was there waiting. It was overall worth what I paid for and service I got. I will definitely be coming back for other services offered all because of the service and experience I had. Also, don t forget to ask if they have any discount or promos. I was able to get a little discount and that just made my trip that much better. Thank you team at Mountain Tires.

Donny was great, listening to my needs and finding me several options. He could have just stopped after one quote, but he continued to look and find other options at different price points. No pressure sales, just honest, quality service. This is why I ve been a long time customer and will continue to go back!

I had a trailer tire blow out at 5 PM on Saturday February 3. After searching the area, I found the store located a few blocks away from where I had the blowout on Google maps. It indicated the store closed at 6. I called, since it was only 5:25. No answer. I tried over and over again until 6 pm. I went online and made an appointment for the next day at 9:30, with a quote for a trailer tire at $113 mounted and balanced. Spent the night in the parking lot where I got the flat, since the car I was towing was wide open and not secure. Also knowing that I would be able to go first thing in the morning and be on my way. I arrived in the morning after a phone call at 8:30 to confirm my appointment. Explaining that I had a blowout the night before and my situation of having to sleep in the parking lot.After some discussion about my appointment, when it was made and how, the young man behind the counter said that he only had one trailer tire in stock and that it would be $240+ installed! I was shocked. I have seen bait and switch before, but not like this. I tell him I have to call around and see if I can get o e for less and he starts yelling at me that he s worked for all the local tire places and that no one else will have one. After calling 3 other stores, only one answered the phone, and they didn t have one. I threw in the towel. I went back in the store and the employee was sitting on a cabinet swinging his legs, and shouts out, I m not making you buy the tire. I can t make you. I tell him I don t like being put over a barrel, but that I had to get back home to Sherman Oaks. I briefly inquire again about the tire for my appointment and he tells me that the Goodyear is the only one he has. I paid the outrageous amount for ONE trailer tire. It was a disgusting experience full of disappointment and dissatisfaction. You got me on this one Mountain View Tires, you will never get me again.

Honest friendly service and great price. Ask for service manager, Doug, and he takes care of you. I couldn t make it back on time and he went out of his way to figure out a way to get card info over the phone and left the car for me to pick up after hours. A set of Goodyear tires with alignment cost less than Costco! One stop shop oil change and other services too, when changing oil rotate the tire too. I forgot to even ask them and when picked up the car they also had fixed the bad TPMS at no charge. I wish I knew this place sooner.

For a simple tire patch, I was expecting to pay around 20 dollars as that s what I have paid my whole life for one. I was charged almost double that and it took an hour to do with no one in line. I also watched the mechanic work on the car who took of the wrong tire twice while working on my vehicle. In the end job was done and it correct but not worth going back to.Click to Copy

Don't use them for air conditioning service, not qualified for that work. This was a few years back after getting many oil changes there, they charged us twice for the same AC service that failed both times. If you pay $250 and the refrigerant leaks out in a few days you shouldn't have to pay again, but you do here. Second time they blamed a service port, could it be the port they used hmmm, AC didn't work at all that time so we had to go back and fight for them to replace a relay they had blown. Then it didn't last again and the AC got warm again. So out $500 we went to an AC specialist shop, they recharged the refrigerant for $125 and it's been cold for a year and a half. It takes real knowledge of different cars to be able to service them, especially with AC systems. Never again Mountain View, treat your customers better.

Horrible customer service, lied to my face about how extensive the work would be to change my bulb. My bad for believing what I was Told. $90 for 10 minutes of work is horrible business practice.

This will be my SECOND one star review. I decided to give them a second shot after upper management contacted me to try and rectify the first issue. Today I reached out to mountain view tire about replacing a radiator hose. When I called and explained that the radiator had just been replaced but that I just needed the lower radiator hose to be replaced and that I already had the part. They quoted me 65 dollars for the labor. Great! I replaced the radiator myself in just over an hour. The radiator hoses didnt show up at the same time as the radiator, but the radiator was cracked so I wanted replace it immediately. The only reason I wanted mountain view tire to change the hose was to save me having to clean up aftwards and because I needed to get things done across the street, so I figured they could swap out the hose real quick while I was across the street. So after being quoted 65 dollars over the phone, I drove over and walked in letting them know I literally spoke to someone less than 45 minutes ago about getting a lower radiator hose replaced. The shop tech then proceeded to quote me an hour and a half worth of labor costing over 230 dollars! I told him that was b.s. not only because they literally told me it would cost 65 dollars not even an hour before, but because I know first hand that it takes no more than 20 minutes to switch out a lower radiator hose! You can see in the pictures below the hose I am talking. It is literally a hose and two hose clamps... both of which can be accessed without having to move anything but the air filter which is literally a 60 second job. They wanted to charge me 1.5 hours of labor so I ended up doing it on my own and it took... guess how long... 23 minutes including clean up.Nonetheless, he then tried to justify his pricing saying similiarly that an upper radiator hose is even an hour and twenty minutes of labor. Give me a break! The hose lays on top of the radiator and is attached by two hose clamps that are within arms reach and easily accessible. You dont have to unbolt a single thing or use any type of special equipment... nothing! It is an easy 15 minute job at most!This place is an absolute rip off. The first situation in which they received one star from me was because they tried to rip off my fiance in the same fashion by diagnosing her vehicle with one problem, in which we ended up paying a few thousand for, and then the literally 10 minutes after we drove the car out of the shop, the same issue was still occurring! They then tried saying it was something else and attempted to tell us we needed to pay even more for them to fix it!Terribly run. Terribly managed. Terrible techs. This place is in it for the money, not the customer service. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and in fact, I will ensure that anyone who is looking for a shop knows never to entertain the thought of bringing their vehicle here.

They do most things well at mountain view. I had nitrogen put in all my tires in an attempt to slow down the leaks, and whenever it gets a little low they refill with nitrogen for free. Really it all depends on the crew on staff regarding how friendly the service is and the value for the money. 3/4 of the time they have good staff. But then they will rotate out to try to put a good crew in some other place that is suffering, and therefore a new crew will come in and the service will suffer until they learn how to do things correctly. Still they are worth four stars. I always price shop against the dealer, and through COVID I noticed the dealer service was at or a little bit lower. Even bought tires at the dealers twice. And save money.

Terrible service. Don t waste your time.Needed only a single tire mounted on a rim.Asked before hand if it could be completed quickly. Assured yes they are starting now Only to watch the only working employee leave to lunch.To which the front office replied Oh they didn t tell us Also yeah we really wish they d communicate better with us as well but what can we do Terrible service, terrible customer communication, and sounds like terrible corporate oversight.I have no issues with the employee needing to eat - the guy clearly needs help.The issue of customer communication is paramount and clearly lacking.

The men who work at the shop are so friendly and very generous! They were recommended by the AutoZone start to get my new hubcap installed. Even though I came 10 minutes before closing, they quickly installed the hubcaps with bolts for free! I couldn't believe it and ask them if I could pay them for their time, but they didn't want to take it. Amazing karma!

When my car battery needed replacing a couple of days ago, I headed to Mountain View Tire & Auto where manager Jake Bagwell assisted me. I wasn't certain if I would purchase another battery at Mountain View as my previous battery purchase failed with 36 months remaining on the warranty and I felt a credit was in order. Jake was professional, pleasant and motivated to help me, but ownership of the company had changed since my original purchase and he was unsure if product warranties had transferred with the change-of-hands. He immediately offered to call a district-level manager and obtained an answer indicating that the company's high service standards include honoring the credit I sought. I was very pleased! Jake was very forthright and direct in explaining the complications that can occur when new ownership is in place, but he went the extra mile to track down the information needed. I was very pleased and recommend that you give Mountain View your auto business. For many years, we have taken our vehicles there for repairs and new tires because they try their best to accomplish the work in an honest and timely manner. Go see Jake!

I needed a tire and found this place on Google when I first moved to the area, and ended up passing at least a dozen tire places on the way. I kept going though because I had an appointment and am so glad I did. They saw I had a brake light led out and offered to change it for the price I'd pay to buy it online. I've come back a few times for various things, and I've never felt pressure to buy more than I came in for, although they will let you know what you need and when, which is nice.5 stars!

I was very impressed with the service I received at Mountain View Tire and Auto. I am visiting from Arizona and did not have a mechanic in the area. Mountain View took care of my brakes that had frozen up ruining parts and even saved me money under the estimate. Thank you so much for getting me back on the road safely.

Mountain View Tire was recommended to us and we haven't been disappointed. Pricing is fair and they don't push unnecessary service. Mario is a knowledgeable, top notch technician. He knows cars well and above all is honest and trustworthy in assessing the work that needs to be done. He has worked on our car several times now and is the first tech we've been 100% satisfied with in many years of maintaining our vehicles.

Everytime I go there, it s always an issue with service, I have tried so many times to give these guys a chance and just about everytime they don t want to be bothered to provide any kind of positive experience. Thank god for Costco

I came in for brakes and an oil change. They did a thorough inspection and let me know I still had 80% left on my brakes and didn't need new ones. I appreciate the details of their inspection report and honesty. I had them clean and adjust my brakes anyway. I feel very secure in my car now. Thanks!

We loved these guys, they took care of us like family! My only regret is we live in Canada so we likely won't be able to be repeat customers. They happened to be the closest ones to us when we were in desperate need on our road trip. Lucky us! They made a bummer stop on the trip turn into a good one. Great, genuine people.

Wife wanted to go here for an oil change. I just purchased a used car and thought I'd do the same. Mountain View rotates the tires when they do an oil change, but they said they couldn't rotate mine because I needed tires. They weren't just trying to sell me tires, I REALLY needed tires (and I knew it). They asked if I wanted them to price some tires for me. I declined, and that was that. After Robert finished filling out the paperwork for the oil change, he handed me prices for tires. Wellll......I saw the prices and told him right then and there to just do the tires. They didn't pressure me, just informed me. I liked that. And the tires are the exact ones I was looking at in the showroom! They are excellent and quiet on the road. I reckon I'm going to have to have them do my brakes next. Thank you, Mountain View Tire!
