Amazing shop, owner was nice enough to give me the full tour. I would love them to build me a car, professional as hell.

Trust me and don't bother wasting your time with this place. Stopped by with my Chevy to get an estimate and Brian was nothing but rude and incompetent. Couldn't guarantee anything, so why would I pay to be a customer? Gave me a nasty attitude once I made it clear I will take my business elsewhere.

Got my 1954 Bel air chopped here, he did incredible work, couldn't be happier with it.

Oh, Thats Baloney... I've known Brian Mackey at Mackey's Hot Rods for over 7 years... He's been nothing but a straight shooter, and done Excellent work ALWAYS... he's usually at or under estimate... Brian always takes the time to explain every little detail and always greets with a smile and a handshake anytime I pop in... He encourages people to come in and look at the work for updates and progress reports... I've met and made friends with so many of Brian's other customers and Hot Rodder's... Hot Rodder's always seem attracted to each other because we have so much in common... I like the fact that his shop is so clean and organized and they bend over to protect other peoples property... Brian knows personally most of the Hot Rodder's in Huntington Beach and our local community and car culture here in the area and we all very much like and respect this man... Darryl Deir ( member of H.B. Car Club and Cars and Cruise Car Club) I recomend this shop and I wouldn't take my cars anyware else...
