I really enjoyed doing business with Danny, his wife, & their team. Gear Up Tires is an excellent spot to have tires, suspensions and alignments done; they provide high quality work efficiently and effectively at a good price. They are very thorough and I feel confident in how my cars handle after visiting them. Also I am really into the visual alignment print out to add to the cars service history folder. Check them out!

first time coming to the establishment, because it was so close to home and I saw the reviews were good. I brought my 2007 Chevrolet avalanche. It was breaking to the right rather quickly than slightly. Gear up tires did a wheel alignment and I definitely can feel the difference The service was great and the customer service was even better. Definitely giving this place five stars. Need to get something done right hit up gear up tires.

Took in my bmw to get aligned after installing lowering springs. It s hard to find a shop that s willing to work on a cars that have been modified and lowered. And Danny was wonderful! Excellent service, great work speed, super professional, courteous, and thoughtful! He even torque checked my bolts and topped off my tire pressure. Fantastic! Will definitely come back to him for my future car care needs!!!

I saw great reviews so I went and met Danny and had him perform an alignment for my Lexus RX. He was professional , honest and a very good communicator . He explained the report generated in detail. Very impressive.

Got all 4 brand new run flat tires for my BMW X4 + installation + balancing + alignment done for less than $970 including all taxes.Amazing service, very nice and professional workers. Definitely one of THE BEST car repair experiences I've ever had in Southern California.

I found this place by happenstance on Maps when I needed a place that would take appointments for flat repairs. I tried three different larger businesses off of Beach Blvd that don t take appointments and had over 2 hr wait times. This smaller shop was everything! Incredibly kind and friendly team, beyond efficient, and so quick!! When I was assessing my options, they were so clear and gave me all the information I needed to make an educated decision. Put this place at the top of your list for all your tire needs! I can t recommend them enough!

One of the worst things about moving to a new area is finding a great barber, and a great mechanic. If you are looking for a straight shooting, honest mechanic, look no further than Gear Up Tires with Danny. I luckily found him within a short time of moving here and couldn't have been happier with my service over the 3 years. From installing my lift kit to routine maintenance he has never steered me wrong and was always willing to work late to complete any maintenance on my vehicle. I really do appreciate how devoted he is to being a great mechanic. Im moving away so the hunt will continue to find another barber and another mechanic as great as the ones I have found in HB. I highly recommend his shop to all of my friends and to anyone reading this, wishing nothing but the best for him and his wife.

Absolutely the best place that could have come up on yelp for us. We had an emergency with our brakes and so I sent a request out for estimates at 9 pm mind you and they responded within 5 minutes. Went in and it needed more work than we expected but the whole time they kept communicating, sending pictures as well as videos of the issues. They were fair, got out car finished overnight and explained everything again to me thoroughly. I'll be bringing my cars here from now on for servicing as well as recommending to all my friends.

I've been to Gear Up Tires for both new tires and brake services. I love how they are patient and help you out with figuring out what are the best tires are within your budget and driving style. Daniel and Iman are so lovely. Very informative and transparent on their quotes. Will be coming back for any other wheel related services (:

This place is kind of hard to find. It is located inside the California imports building. The service does not get better than this. Danny is a perfectionist. He corrected all of the problems that the previous shop overlooked. My car came out of there with absolutely perfect alignment and many of the issues that could ve been a safety problem were corrected. I cannot recommend them enough. I will take all of my cars there for anything related to suspension, alignment, brakes, wheels or tires.

This is THE place to get tires! They have very reasonable prices and their service is top notch. They ve been able to repair a flat on my Tesla (which- I ve learned that some places don t work on Tesla tires) and let me know when I should start thinking about new tires. They even stayed open a few minutes past closing when I called to let them know I was stuck in traffic. Definitely go to Gear Up for any tire needs!

Friendly, responsive, honest and fair prices! They were able to get us in and out quickly. Danny is very knowledgeable and made good recommendations. He helped us put in some snow tires and we are very happy with their service!

Trusted and reliable mechanic. I was told something was wrong with my car by a couple other shops and Danny said everything was working fine, and I ve had no problems since. Then I brought my car in because one of my tires was low and they found a nail in it and patched it for free. I got all new tires a few months later and paid a fair price for good quality tires. I m grateful I have a mechanic close to home that I can trust.

Great communication! They replied to a message I sent on Yelp within 5 minutes and after I dropped my car off, they kept me updated via text all day about the status of my car. Everyone I met was genuinely friendly and helpful, and the bill was very reasonable. You won't be disappointed if you choose to give Gear Up your business!

I needed new tires and I was so glad to have found Gear Up Tires. Their response time is so quick and communication through the whole process is fantastic. They had the exact tires I was looking for and even got me in the next day. Service was quick and I would totally recommend this business!

The guy at Gear Up is awesome! Great shop, friendly people that are very knowledgeable, helpful and the pricing is very reasonable. Not like most shop that want to excessively hit you in the wallet. Highly recommended by me!

I had a fantastic experience with my old car that needed a lot of major motor work, and a variety of other maintenance done. First the shop was clean, welcoming with snacks and water. They were so responsive to all my questions that I had in the beginning as well throughout my visit there. They also provided a detailed invoice down to the part price, which was very good easy to read (not even my pessimistic great uncle could question), even followed up with photos of the side by side old and new parts, set aside all the old parts in case I needed them and kept me updated on the progress, which I really appreciated.Being a single female going to mechanic shops (really all over the county) with an vintage vehicle, I ve been quoted some pretty ridiculous labor/ overall costs for a job that this shop did in a couple days. My car was in n out of the shop in two days for a substantially better price. It was a no brainer to go through financing to finish the rest of the work that needed to be done restoring my classic convertible. It was simple, quick to get approved and it s no interest for 3months. Thank you again I ll refer my friends and family, as well as coming back for an oil change!

Detailed service and great prices! Danny has been my trusted mechanic for years and continues to do amazing work! It s very important to trust your auto professionals and that s what you get at Gear Up. If you re not sure about something, just ask.. they will be happy to explain in detail. I will be back soon after putting my tires wheels and suspension through some OffRoad abuse! Y all have my business.

If you want your car repair done by professional, kind and genuine people come to Gear up tires. In my honest opinion you will never find a better auto shop than Gear up tires. Their customer service, price and knowledge are the best! I highly recommend this service center and will continue serving all my cars with them in the future. I m so glad I ve found this place through Yelp.

Danny and Iman at Gear Up Tires are fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable and they have gone the extra mile to get my truck fixed not once but twice! They worked over a holiday weekend so that my truck would be ready when I needed it. The front office and shop are always clean and it is really convenient to get in and out with their location on Beach blvd. I couldn t ask for better service and would highly recommend gear up tires for any of your needs.

Danny and his team were awesome. Had a nail in my tire they patched it up in under 20 minutes (although it was close before 6 pm) and gave me a good quote for a replacement tire. Will definitely come again!

I requested a quote online to get my jeep lifted and new tires. Danny and Iman were prompt to respond and worked with me to find the best suspension and tires in my price range. Danny was very knowledgeable and patient while working with me to pick the best options. I had gotten a few other quotes at some other shops but Gear Up Tires was the most helpful and most affordable. The job was done fast and I m very happy with their work. I will definitely continue to come here in the future. Highly recommend Gear Up Tires!

I needed a flat tire repair quickly. I called around and Danny was able to help me right away. He explained what needed to be done, the cost and how long it d take. He got it done on time and was very courteous. Their price was reasonable.Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I d definitely return again to support this small business.
