Francisco is a modern day saint. I had to be towed from Palm Springs in my 1995 Ford E-350 diesel short bus. I chose Francisco's because my friend Mackie, and her brother, said that they didn t trust anybody else in the SoCal area to touch their vanlife rigs. After a hellish night, I was dropped off at Francisco's at 4am.I woke up to Francisco knocking on my door to gauge whether I was homeless or a customer; Little did he know I am both. He spent the morning diagnosing my vehicle, petting my dog, and even offered up invaluable tips about my van and about the life lessons he learned post draft and marriages.I m currently typing this as I snack on a bag of chips I was given, for breakfast, by Francisco. I have never felt more welcomed by a diesel shop. What is usually intimidating and anxiety inducing has been so fun and has left me so grateful.Francisco s crew technically housed me, fed me, humored me, and reminded me the importance of maintaining a glass half full mindset. You can tell this crew really values each other.I truly can t recommend this shop more.

Would not return and wouldn t recommend.Oil change and tire rotation $400.they offer free shuttle service so that s cool.While waiting for my vehicle they called me stating rear diff fluid is dark and low. $400 for them to drain, clean insides, add additives and new gear oil and new silicone seal.Total $800After service was finished And I Brought the vehicle home, found the following issues:1) all the lug nuts weren t torqued down to spec. Most required 1/2 turn and few a full turn2) leak from engine oil filter cap when I ve never had a leak there before3) rear center caps were placed on front wheels covering the manual locking hubTold the owner and he offered to take the vehicle back to attempt to fix those issues. After reading other yelper reviews I wasn t going to let this shop touch my vehicle ever again.Owner gave me a new filter and $10 for engine oil after I stopped in the shop again.I corrected all the issues at home on my own. Upon swapping out the oil filter I noticed the oil cap seal was not a new one. Which means the shop reused the old seal. After I put the new seal and filter on and topped the engine, voila, no more leak.For the center caps I had to jack up the vehicle to remove the wheels and replace the caps.Wasted $800 and a lot of my own time fixing the shops errors.

Shady. They replaced my good quality tire several months ago with a very used and worn one that will need to be replaced soon. I called them about it, they never called me back. I m no longer in the area, so it s too late. But don t go here.

Got a written estimate of $225. Had a rubbing backing plate and loose lugnuts. Was charged $775 in labor. When I asked why it was so much, Francisco said he took the wheels off multiple times, and each time it takes an hour. I can't understand why anyone could take an hour to remove wheels and put them back on. Francisco replied to my post and he lied. He never gave me an estimate of $1000. Of course I would never agree to such an outrageous amount.

Our family & friends have been getting our cars repaired here for over 30 years. We LOVE Francisco & his staff. Hard working & honest. I never worry about being pressured into needless repairs. Francisco is straight forward & goes out of his way for his clients. He has become family to us over the years. Francisco is a great help! He took on my car even though he had to deal with my warranty and it had a difficult repair. He has always treated me like family and I ve never doubted his expertise. I took my 85 Volkswagen to get diagnostics and run tests on my car. I appreciated that Francisco told me upfront what the estimate of everything would cost and what d I d be paying for each service. When he worked on the car, he would call me before he moved on to another service which was very nice! The services done were completed in a fast time. Recommend!

I was there when k something was here and Francisco was trying to give him a estimate and the guy was upset over the estimate. Francisco said I m just telling you what it is, and I haven t worked in your car and didn t take any money. He said if he doesn t do it cheaper he is gonna leave a bunch of bad reviews. I have used Francisco for years and he is good and honest, he s has repaired all my family vehicles. When the dealer couldn t fix my car, I took it to him and he fixed it and got me on the road in 2 days. Francisco and his staff went above and beyond to assist me with my vehicle. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and great at what they do. Francisco is going above and beyond to fill me in his busy schedule and willing to work around my busy work/ life schedule. Don t hesitate to stop by and talk to them about your cars needs. Liar ... "I can fix anything". Couldn't even figure out what was wrong. Took days to get an answer. I had to call them to get updates. Told me he wouldn't work on it until I fixed parts of my van. I was there to get an inspection to find out what was wrong. He couldn't even do that. Only told me what I told him, and already knew was wrong. Talked over me. Raised his voice when I tried to respond. Very unprofessional.I recommend Vadim at Sprinter Expert, 8637 San Fernando Rd, Sun Valley, CA 91352. Its a bit of a drive, but they know what they're doing. Or, if you're in the Santa Barbara area, try Brian at Autohaus, 218 Palm Ave, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.Good luck!!

Took me a few days to write my review to make sure my car was actually fixed, and it's running perfectly. I was recommended to Francisco's by a relative, my car was finished in one day, not the cheapest but seemed like a great value. Subaru Repair Huntington Beach does NOT exist. This is a fictitious business front used to mislead customers and scam them. Fransisco Automotive is a scam, Fransisco is a fraud.Owner Fransisco is super unprofessional and rude.Building is dirty on the outside, dirty on the inside.

One the most honest mechanics I ve ever brought my vehicle to. Fransisco is a man of his word and a genuinely great guy who cares about his customers. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable as well. Fantastic automotive repair shop. 100% recommend bringing your car here.

I normally don t write reviews but in this cause it s my civic obligation to warn the unsuspecting public. I can t recommend in fact I urge you not to use Francisco s automotive repair. His business practices are criminal. He will do everything to run your bill as high as possible. He charged me for repair work that was not necessary or authorized. Then lied about it. He charged my credit card an unauthorized amount that I didn t catch immediately because I was clear on the amount I authorized. He never gave me an estimate which I repeatedly asked for. Further there was no record of time taken to each repair task so he basically charged whatever he felt like. Finally the work he did do was incomplete, bring it back in a couple weeks . Unbelievably they damaged my vehicle adding insult to injury. I have never been so blatantly ripped off. I couldn t get my vehicle out of there fast enough. Now I m going to have to pay a reputable garage to fix what I paid him to repair. Francisco will not save you money. Buyer beware. I m in the process of filing a complaint with the Bureau of automotive repair (BAR) for the state of CA. The belligerent, obnoxiously drunk owner (Francisco) of this unbelievable extortion and racketeering operation is the worst shyster scammer I ve ever met who is out for blood!He was supposed to just read a code and kept my $100,000 sprinter hostage!Without my permission (as he was supposed to be reading a code) he tore the guts out purposely damaged at least 15 other parts and fraudulently charged my card for several thousands of dollars and my sprinter is now smoking and completely broken down!He has at least six different fictitious business names, always running from a bad reputation of his scams!!He will find a way to destroy your vehicle, shake you down and empty your wallet!Francisco is a combative hostile intoxicated con artist. He deserves to be in prison for his scams!

It's rare to find someone who truly cares for others and wants to be genuinely helpful. Francisco and his team saved our camping trip! Enroute to our destination, we noticed the toilet in our RV was leaking. After calling numerous places in the area, Francisco was able to accommodate us for an emergency repair. His shop's focus is on automobiles but they happened to do a little bit of minor RV repair work as well. We were in and out the same day! Thank you Francisco and team for saving our trip. Francisco came highly recommended from a previous employer of mine in Newport Beach. Let's just say I've only let him work on my car(European SUV) since our initial meeting. Recently, I took my car to Beach House Imports as it's much closer to where I reside. The price they quoted me at was fairly high. I opted out of having them work on it just so I could have Francisco take a look. This is a family man who truly cares about each and every person he encounters. It's immediately clear he's looking to provide you the most cost efficient solution. I can honestly say this man has changed my personal views on mechanics/automotive shops. Let me help save you time, just call him. He's a straight shooter who values his customers only hoping they'll share their positive experience with others.Thank you so much for all that you've done.I will be back in January for some routine maintenance. Took me a while to write a review, but the job was done so well, I have to. I had an off-roading light bar and pods installed. Even though it was a bit pricey, Mario (I think his name was) did an amazing job. It took around 5-6 hours (probably that much because I didn't realize my kit didn't have mounting brackets, he ended up making his own). The wiring is beautiful, the aim is perfect, and he put the switch in a perfect place, even though I didn't much care where it went. I can tell Mario takes pride in his work, the installation is meticulously precise.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!their initial estimate is so deceiving. Once they have your car, they give you a quote way above the original cost. Then you have to pay them what they ask because they take your car hostage.they have done this to multiple other customers. read other reviews.

I came in and spent over 3k on a tune up for my 1996 Acura integra. Complete waste of time. Either they used terrible parts or they didn t actually replace/fix anything because my car runs even rougher now. Francisco, if you really want to be a man of your word, you ll find the red integra owner info (I came in February this year) and you ll call me about what you can do to fix this because this is truly disappointing. You really had me convinced you knew what you were doing.Service: Engine repair

Francisco is the best! He is always so honest, so quick, and his staff is so knowledgeable! My husband would not take his Jeep anywhere else because no one can be trusted like Francisco! They have a little waiting area that you can use while your car is being fixed, or they will drop you off at work and come pick you up later if you need it! It's so convenient and so nice of them.

Cars just don't like me but, thankfully Francisco s Automotive is always there to fix whatever happens to my car or my wife s! They're very well priced, very efficient, and very customer service oriented! Leah and Francisco not only are great to work with but, everyone is friendly and nice to each other. It seems like everyone is happy to be there.So I ve had batteries die, my car's ac condenser started leaking (yes, in the summer), I knocked off my side mirror, �we've had Francisco work with my insurance company with no hassle. They even helped us with rides home from the shop and always calls with an update on when we can pick the cars up. This place is great I'll take my car there for anything that goes wrong! Customers for life!

This review was a long time coming, but I have to say, don't believe the nay sayers who gave bad reviews. I went via a friend's referral and I recommend anyone who needs their vehicle serviced to come here. The staff are friendly and professional, and Francisco, the man himself, clearly instills that customer service value in his business. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. Don't bash them until you've tried dropping by. If you do have a bad experience its probably more likely that you're the one who approached them with some self-entitled bad attitude or something along those lines.

Classic bait and switch. Gives you an estimate, then costs skyrockets, holds your car hostage til you pay way more than you agreed to. I would give a 0 star if I could.ScammersThey have zero clarity when communicating and they charge double with respect to their estimate, holding the car hostage until you pay. Towed my car out of their lot.Avoid at all cost.
