Picked AutoWave from positive reviews when we moved to OC from NYC. Mike and Shane and their staff are very friendly and competent. Brought all our family Acura and Honda cars in for service and repairs. They are honest and reasonable for the work needed. It s a peace of mind to have such competent repair service when you need it. Would recommend them to all my friends and family!

I had the pleasure of doing business with Shane and Mike, owners of Autowave, in HB. I took my 2007 CRV with 199K miles to them for an engine light. After a thorough inspection, it needed a lot of work. They did a great job, and my car feels like a newer car!! I had a very memorable experience.Thanks Autowave

I was recommended this shop by a friend who has trusted some of his amazing high-end builds to Mike and Shane. My clutch went out on a Sunday night and they were able to get me on the road with a new one very fast and went above and beyond with service. Very satisfied to have found a new trusted shop to work as the service was exceptional.

I have a 2014 Acura. 167,000 mi. Auto Wave has kept my car running smoothly. As it gets older it s costing a bit more. Mike and team keep the cost reasonable. I only bring it to Auto Wave!!

Mike got me in for an oil change right before they closed on a Friday. They also let me know I didn t have any torn boots as the dealership had suggested I had which saved me big $$. I like that they only work on Hondas/Acuras as I take good care of my baby and want to make sure others take care of him also. They seem to know their stuff so this might be my new spot for future needs. Prices seem fair too.

Both Mike and Shane were very pleasant. They were helpful with helping me sort through the priority of the repairs of my car. I didn't feel pressured or taken advantage of. My car was ready when they said it would be.

If you have a Honda or Acura, this is the best place to visit for all your vehicle needs. I have a Acura NSX, Mike and Shane at Autowave, are the only people I trust with any maintenance or repairs on my vehicle. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy... I'm retired from American Honda and I hate to admit it, but taking my car to a dealership is expensive. I know this hurts my passion and support for Honda. But now I need to be realistic on how my money is spent.Ironically one of my old co-workers suggested AutoWave to me. And while I was talking to my friend (who recommended me) this morning at Donut Derelicts, about my experience at AutoWave, another friend overheard, and he's going to take his Honda to AutoWave for service.The pricing I paid for my service was well in line with what I expected. I have a 2021 CR-V.However I do wish I could make an appointment.

This was my first time here as I was not happy with my other mechanic. Shane and Mike took great care of my sons car. They basically did everything on a1990 Honda Accord except for changing out the engine and transmission! I felt taken care of and I thought they were honest. I believe they are a family owned business which I like to support! So yes I will be back. Thanks again

First time customer, referred by my son, took my 2013 Si Coupe to have my clutch replaced ,took it in on a Thursday afternoon car was ready my Monday. The shop did a great job on the clutch runs like new again. They also did a full inspection of all other parts and recommended to have them replaced before they get any worse. I strongly recommend Autowave Shop.

Saved me a couple hundred on a repair to my Honda Hrv and even showed me the broken parts and explained what happened. Don't go to Honda for repairs. Come here and learn while you're at it.

I brought my 1991 NSX to Autowave to resolve a starting problem. They resolved the problem quickly and reasonably. They suggested additional work, that in my opinion, would not be able to have been performed elsewhere at any price. My car is now in exceptional condition. Shane, Mike and their crew are very professional, courteous and most importantly honest! Their attention to detail is incredible. They treat your car as if it was their own. I highly recommend them, for any vehicle, but especially for the Acura NSX. They are definitely the "NSX Go to Guys"!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing professionalism and expertise. Fixed an elusive electrical issue on my Element that three other shops in SD gave three different diagnoses for. Next time I have an issue on a Honda that I can't resolve myself I'll save myself the headache and take it directly to Autowave. CEL off and smog passed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in SoCal with a Honda.Service: Electrical repair

I made an appointment using RepairPal which made it seamless. So, I brought my mom's Honda Clarity Plug-in because the A/C was not blowing cold. They gave me an estimate to fix it. My mom's car has a warranty through Maxcare, and Mike went out of his way to call them to make sure the service was covered. I really appreciated their honesty and diligence. That's not something you can find at a lot of auto repair shops. I will most definitely be bringing the car to Autowave Inc for further repairs and services.Service: Air conditioning

Been taking my Acura TL to Autowave for 17 years and counting. Owners Shane and Mike and their expert crew do an outstanding job. They are honest, knowledgeable, and never overcharge. I bought my TL new back in 2006 and have only let Autowave service it, and it currently has 342,000 miles and runs beautifully. Highly recommend for excellent Honda/Acura service.

This is the second time to had my Honda Odyssey serviced. First one is a flying color experience. Second one makes me know more of their services which is customer oriented. Since I'm going to travel and need my van, they fixed these items that will make my travel safe. I return the van after my trip and fix everything except items that is a back order parts which does not affect the van. Thanks to everybody working as team.

Thank you, Auto Wave for taking such good care of my new Acura and doing the first service. My car was due for its first oil change, and I didn't want to bring it to the dealer, which is in Cerritos. I am so happy that I found Auto Wave that specializes in Honda and Acura right here in Huntington Beach. Their service was prompt and efficient and they even went beyond the oil change and first service, as they noticed some white paint on the fender and they buffed it out, without extra charge, and got rid of it. So, my car looks brand new again and shiny. Thanks to everyone for their courtesy and efficiency. I have never seen an auto shop so clean and well maintained. I have brought my MDX to AutoWave several times over the years and have always had a top notch experience. They take the extra time to explain if they have a recommendation why they recommend to do whatever it is. They ve never unsold me on anything and I I will continue to trust them with my vehicle when I need future service or maintenance.Also, several years back in the middle of the summer before I was heading out to the desert my A/C went out and they saw me the next day and had the repairs done the same day. They saved me from an absolute nightmare!Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

These guys are the BestUpdate to original review/ it s been several years and 70k miles on a replacement engine they put in and everything has been excellent needless to say I am very happy. I had been having issues with the AC for my Honda CR-V. I took her to the dealership three times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong.When I called Autowave, Michael was very professional and gave me info I needed to bring in my car. They were able to locate the issue, provided me with fair pricing and Shane communicated realistic expectations for when my car would be finished. They were very respectful.My car was returned in excellent condition. They polished my headlights, washed my car, changed the cabin filter and miscellaneous parts all free of charge. They were even able to remove paint from my side door when it scraped against a wall.I will definitely be back.

Autowave offers Honda/Acura specific maintenance. I've been taking my last two Hondas to Mike and Shane. I'm a loyal Honda driver and only use the dealer for warranty issues. I count on Autowave to keep me on the road. The entire crew at Auto Wave conduct business in a high level of professionalism. They have a genuine care that your car runs as best as it can and do what s necessary to make it happen. Autowave has earned the trust of Honda and Acura aficionados for 40 years; as a choosy Honda owner, I ve trusted Autowave for everything from supercharging my S2k to repairing the air conditioner in our family s 08 CR-V. When the air conditioner was not blowing cold, Autowave accurately diagnosed the root of the problem and replaced the leaking Schroder valves instead of a more costly repair. If you ll indulge me for a story, everything started in around 2017 when I fulfilled a childhood dream of supercharging my beloved S2k, putting over 300 prancing ponies under the hood, lab-verified on their dyno. Another shop replaced the clutch, but Autowave noticed the shop failed to properly bolt the steering coupler, meaning the steering could have broken loose at any moment of spirited canyon carving, causing me to careen off the road. Needless to say Autowave did more than bolt a steering coupler that momentous day in 2017, they earned my loyalty and quite possibly saved my life. Looking back now hundreds of thousands of miles later, I trust Autowave with the safety of my family. Even though I make the trek all the way from Ventura County, Autowave makes trip worthwhile with candid shop talk and excellent service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Oil change

There is no one else I would trust to service my 2004 Acura NSX. Despite living in Los Angeles, I make the hour long commute because these guys are just that good.
