Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. From the first day I spoke to him, he gave me information about his shop, what electrical work they do, and who've they done business with. I was so confident in their work that I had a tow truck take my car there without hesitation. Mike called me when the car arrived and shortly after one of the techs finished his inspection I got a call reviewing what I wanted to get done. Not only was the price perfect for the jobs they did, but they do extremely high quality work! I can't thank them enough for being my one stop shop for all my electrical needs.Edit: Got the car back the other day and it was better than what I could ever expect! The workmanship was fantastic, the attention to detail and instruction was amazing, and they even took care of some other issues that I was having without hesitation. Thank you so much!Edit 8/23/2023: My last appointment with them was amazing! Not only did they diagnose my draw on my car, but they also took care of my car alarm issue I was having. I have been coming to see Al for years. Their service and quality of work is second to none. I drive an hour, past hundreds of other repair shops just to come here. If I had to drive two hours it would still be worth it. HB Auto has done so much for me over the years. This is not your typical repair shop. Everyone here is honest, dedicated, and constantly exceeds my expectations. Thank you Al!

I had a problem with my window rolling up and couldnt wait till the next day. Even though Ryan was busy he said I could come in and see if he could help. He fixed the situation immediately and even gave me some great advice for the next time. I will definitely go back when I need help in the future. Great service.

In and out with no hassle for a smog check. Great price. Ali also pointed out a few issues with my old Camry (broken motor mount, leaking gasket) and offered me to come back for a free complete inspection and estimate for any fixes. Very honest guy.

These guys have been taking care of my vehicles smog for the past 10 years. I trust him fully and they also have worked with me on payments when I couldn't afford the bill. The best thing about this place I passed my smog.

As a "little old lady," I was concerned when my DMV renewal indicated I needed to find a STAR smog station, as the shop I had used for several years did not qualify for that rating. So I looked for a shop near me, read the reviews, and took a chance with HB Electric and Smog. Happy to say I was not disappointed! I was treated with respect and helpful staff who went beyond the call of duty to assure me that my car was road ready. I was completely satisfied with my experience at HB Auto!

I took my F-type Jaguar to Auto Electric thinking I had a severe electrical problem but Mike found the problem and it was not a major issue after all. I was so grateful. Jaguar has a reputation for electrical problems which is why I thought the worse. I want to make sure this guy gets credit for his hard, honest work.My brakes have not seemed right since I got them done at BrakeMasters (Worst.Idea.Ever.), so I brought them to HB Auto (Fred) to get the rear brakes changed. I first called to get a quote and he quoted me at $140 cheaper than the dealer and nearly $100 cheaper than local area shops. He told me to come in that afternoon so that he could take a look. I was worried he wouldn't be able to see me because I was running late, but when I showed up, he stopped working on what he was doing and jacked my car up. He took a look at the brakes and informed me that the pads were fine and I shouldn't change them. The drum however was put on to tight and had begun to gather grooves (thanks to Brake-Suck...ers??). He then gave me an adjustment and told me it should be all good.He told me it would be $10 (amazing!), but since neither of us had change for big bills he happily took the $7 in my pocket. I will definitely be back after this interaction. One of the least stressful encounters with a mechanic ever!Thank you Fred, keep up the good work you rock!!!

When it comes to Smog checks and auto repair this is the place to go in the Huntington Beach area. Al always takes care of me and my family s repairs. Very professional and nice!
