I was looking for a good small engine mechanic, someone I could trust. This business is my absolute go-to from now on. Luis is communicative, responsive, honest almost to a fault, and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to small engines. He worked on my RV generator and found the problem quickly and efficiently where others had failed. The storefront is not impressive, but their work and ethics are.I hesitate to recommend businesses unless they truly stand out, but I can fully recommend this one.

We cannot say enough about A-1 Lawnmowers & Engine Service of Huntington Beach, CA. Early on in our full-time, RV life, we had repeated difficulties with our generator. After two, short-lived, overly expensive repairs by others, we were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation, which has proven to be a consistent and excellent resource for our 1999 Rexhall Aerbus. Our current concerns, involving the generator and alternator were, once again, quickly diagnosed and attended to by the owner, Luis Tobon along with his assistants, Rigo and Jesus. They worked quickly and meticulously to replace the alternator with a new one. Our 5500 Generac generator starter also needed to be replaced, requiring total removal and of the three possible replacements, Luis had in stock the correct one. They were courteous, considerate and, as always, putting us at ease and ending in a job exceedingly well done all reasonably priced!

They did an excellent job on my old lawn mower. Tune up, replace throttle control, sharpen the blade, and sharpen a few pruning tools. I thought the price was reasonable.

Louis takes care of me all the time - I have been seeing him for over 14 years now. He provides the best service and excellent prices. His customer services is impeccable, with emphasis on thoroughly explaining the ins and outs of using all my power equipment safely and optimally for long-term use.

My 1984 vintage mower was successfully repaired by Luis and his crew. Lots of extra work was done and the machine was ready on time as promised. Thank you for a job well done

I ve been bringing my generators to a one mower for about 10 years. Again Luis the owner does a great job repairing them and is always fair with the pricing. I find him to be a man of integrity. One time in the past something was not fixed properly, and he went above and beyond to take care of me Instead of making excuses.

THANK YOU LOUIS!!! Happy customer well over 20 years for lawnmowers & equipment.Today was a 4 hour turnaround chainsaw carb rebuild, leaving for cabin tomorrow. 1991 Poulan 46 cc 20 inch chainsaw runs better than factory new. I begged to pay more than his $50 charge.

$100 to clean the card on a portable generator. Supposed to be done Wednesday but didn't get it back until Fri. So far so good. Check it out.

The owner answered the phone and had the parts I needed in stock. Price was better than so found on the internet. He also explained how to install the parts. Definitely recommend.

never bring you boat or outboard motor here.. they will kill ur motor nomatter wat... they dont know anythings about motor.. they dont care.. never come back there again.. suck..feel bad for my motor after i bring it here..my motor now not running after i bring it here
